Jennifer Lopez’s Twins Take ‘People’ Cover
Jennifer Lopez proudly shows off her 3-week-old twins Max and Emme on the cover of the latest People issue.
The photos were taken during an 8-hour photoshoot at Jennifer and husband Marc Anthony’s home in Long Island, NY this past weekend. The mag reportedly shelled out $3-6 million for the exclusive pics.
Says Jen about those fertility drug rumors: “I know people think that because we had twins, but they run in my family, they run in Marc’s family. This really happened naturally, believe it or not. We tried a long time.”

I am a mother of twins. Any well studied person knows that in order to have fraternal twins, which she has, it must run in the woman’s side of the family. She is the one that drops the eggs, not her husband.
If these were conceived naturally, they are twins because of her advanced age.

I wish she wouldn’t lie about how they were conceived. Everyone knew that they have been trying for some time, with medical help, so why claim otherwise. Cute babies.

It really bugs me that these celebrity mothers can’t admit to having fertility treatment. Even if it wasn’t in-vitro, she probably took fertility drugs to stimulate ovulation. They always claim that twins run in their family. Julia Roberts said the same thing. It’s all bull. It remains to be seen what Angelina will say. I think Halle B. had treatments also.
I think it would be a positive message to send to women out there who are having trouble conceiving that not everyone, especially older women, get pregnant at the drop of a hat. I always admired that Courtney Cox was very honest about her struggles.

Only people with ugly souls insult babies. At that age you can’t tell who they look like. For some to suggest that one of the twins is mentally challenged is sick. The fact is if you are a fan of a celebrity you think there children are beautiful. If you do not like a celebrity the children are described as basic or worse. The lowest is that people actually dislike a celebrity so much they hope that their children are disabled or harmed.
Is it a crime to use fertility drug? Why are people complaining for God sake.

Every woman that has twins didn’t have to use fertility treatments. It is a medically known fact that a woman at the beginning of her fertility cycle (18) and at the end (38+) are more likely to produce twins due to strong cycle at the beginning and weakening eggs towards the end. Halle never said she was incapable, she said she was waiting for the right man. Julia was older and may not have necessarily needed treatment. She may have just decided she was getting old. Jennifer who knows. Marc didn’t seem to have problems with his 1st wife. But Jennifer was on tour and its pretty hard to do treatments when u’r miles away on stage. Angelina is 32 and has no need of treatment. She never wanted to give birth. She wanted to adopt. She has already said that Brad hit the target right out of the gate when they decided to have a child. Courtney Cox needed help and admitted that. Angela Bassett used a surrogate to carry her twins. Perhaps the women you named haven’t admitted to fertility treatments because they simply haven’t had any. Did that ever occur to you?
I have 4 children and number 3&4 are fraternal twins. 8 yrs old 8/13 born 3 days after my 30th birthday. And guess what? I didn’t need fertility treatments to produce them. My over active ovaries simply pushed out 2 eggs. Which my husband’s little soldiers were happy to attack.
As for Max and Emme like all babies they are sweet and adoreable. But 6 million dollars I doubt People paid. Simply because a paycheck of 6 million dollars would have to be justified in sales and the last time I checked Jlo and Marc A. Are not capable of emptying the stands with a cover story. There is only one couple who can do that and who has in the past even when the issue cover price was raised.
God help us all when they give birth. The world will stop and every channel will be singing of the birth and People Magazine will top there first offer by two million if its one baby and 4mil if its two. Why because they know they will make 10x that amount. They paid 4mil US and 3 mil EU/GB in 2006 and made more than 5x what they usually made, and the kid looked like a gnome…a cute gnome but still a gnome.
And they’ll do it again.
