OlderZac Efron Dances the Night Away
The dashingly handsome Zac Efron takes costar Leslie Mann for a spin around the dance floor in this new movie still for 17 Again. Mann, 35, plays the wife of Efron, 20, and costar Matthew Perry, 38. Efron and Perry play the same character (Mike O’Donnell)–just at different times.

Says Zac, “The idea of going back to high school as an adult is incredible…until you actually get there! It’s like this crazy twilight zone of adolescent insecurities and people trying to grow up and figure out what they want to do with their lives. It’s crazy in the movie. Nothing comes out right when you’re a teenager. You say the wrong thing. You just do. It’s a part of life. It’s a part of growing up. One of the funny parts of this movie is that every year kids change—youth culture is changing all the time. Even now, when I go back to a high school campus, it really is like a frighteningly new place!”

Yeah exactly! It sucks to be a fan of Zac by himself and have to see/hear it all the time. I love watching him grow and become such an amazing young man and actor. But he always has to be attached with V and the HSM movies. Which don’t get me wrong I love the HSM moives and am excited for the third, and final thank goodness. But I know Zac is so much more than one character and role, he has achieved such great success after HSM and Hairspray, which really opened my eyes to his talent, I love seeing where he is going with his career choices.
I am just so happy there are more people that agree with me. The importance comes in loving Zac as an actor and what he does for a living, not who he is dating and if they have been seen together in so long. Both are busy individuals, and we as fans should be happy about that, not depressed they aren’t out shopping and doing nothing.
Karen - completely agree with your #96 post (not that the rest aren’t fab…hee!)…but yeah, Zac definitely has that charisma…it’s not just OMG he’s hot…though he certainly is…but it’s more…you’re just drawn to his person…I think he’d be tons of fun to hang out with.
Anyway, thanks JJ…lovin’ this post. So looking forward to this and all his upcoming movies!
Also…random thought…well, I guess not entirely random since he is dancing in that awesome still…anyway, anyone else think it would be lovely to see him on Dancing with the Stars? I realize there’s no way it would work as 1) he’d totally win and noone else would have a chance…heck…the phone lines would go haywire…LOL…and 2) he’s obviously much too busy. But, sigh, it’d be nice to see more of him doing this type of dancing too…not to say I don’t love those HSM moves. ;-) Anyway…just daydreaming…hee!
Zac Fan I somtimes think of that too, If that ever happens I would not miss any of the episodes and vote at least 25 time or more….. It would be fun and cool to see him on the show….. what an entertainment that would be!

Thanks rokstur! Glad I’m not the only one. :-) I love most of the dancing shows and adding Zac into the mix…nice. But, it seems like every director will show him dancing in some way, at least in his upcoming movies…since even M&OW has some slow dancing. So, that’ll be good. :-)
