An unshaven (and solo) Gerard Butler leaves Villa Lounge in Los Angeles late Thursday night.
It was recently announced that Gerard, Ugly Betty’s America Ferrera, Superbad’s Jonah Hill and Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Knocked Up’s Jay Baruchel will voice How to Train Your Dragon for DreamWorks Animation.
According to Variety, the animation is a “comic adventure set in a mythical world and centers on a scrawny teenage Viking who must capture and subdue a wild dragon.” Dragon is slated for a domestic release on March 26, 2010.

I think Gerard is ill. Everyone says he looks like he has gained weight but if you look its mostly in the face. There are medicines that people take that (especially ones for kidney and liver diseases) that make them retain water.
If not then he has become a drunk (even though he says he does not drink). He doesnt look as good as he use too. He always looks like he just got back from the dentist.
Maybe he has gained weight because he has stopped smoking !!
If he’s playin the dragon I’m gona have 2 say it wont be great. No one beats Sean Connery in Dragon Heart!!! He was the best scottsman to play a dragon!

I read that he had to gain weight for the character he was playing in his new film GAME, which finished filming in February,2008. What I like the most about Butler is that he always looks different in his films - he goes for the character.
I think he looks good in the video. But, I sure hope he is not ill.

to me, it seems his looks change depending on the way the camera caches him. frontal, he has the chipmonk cheeks going. side view, his face is lean and angular. as to why he’s alone, only he knows for sure.

He had just flown from LA to India, from India to Hawaii for a press junket for “Nim’s Island’ and then back to LA for Easter, with in the last several days,He was a bit Jet laged probably and on top of that he also saw a dentist in Beverly Hills that day and had two root canals done, he was swollen from the procedures, DUH and T.F. for your information, Gerry is doing the voice of the Viking teen’s father, NOT the dragon, do some research before you make a comment! and #15, sebastian, that was a total insult to Gerry, to compare him to Britney Spears father (he is a prime example of why Britney is so screwed up, as well as her mom is another example of why she is screwed up, they were pathetic parents)

Gerard has gained some weight in my opinion. This is due to the fact that he has just stopped smoking. One of the main problems is the weight gain that follows. I do speak from experience. He has tried to stop many times, and has succeeded this time, so very well done to him. It is not easy!!! It just has to be managed with diet and exercise and I am sure that he is doing those things. Gerard looks great to me, and I wish him all the best.
The funny thing is, I don’t even care about his physical appearance anymore. His personality makes up for a little weight gain. I think he looks as gorgeous as ever. I don’t believe he was drunk, just tired from all his work. And even if he was, so what! Nothing wrong with having a good time and he deserves it.
I wonder if anyone else noticed that he says something to someone as he drives off. Did anyone else notice it? It sounds like, “Gina, I’m leavin’” which suggests he may be meeting someone and giving the paparazzi the slip. You can’t see him pick up a cell phone. Perhaps he has a phone in the car? Point is, he may be LEAVING the place alone but not necessarily going home alone.

Nobody else has mentioned it. It sounds as if he says, “Gina, I’m leavin.’” Perhaps he is NOT going home alone, but meeting someone, driving off alone to throw the paparazzi off. You can’t see him pick up a cell phone but maybe he has a phone in the car?
