Thank You, Gwyneth Paltrow
After meeting a friend at Starbucks, Gwyneth Paltrow leaves clutching a copy of the children’s book “Thank You Bear” in London on Thursday.
The 35-year-old, who has two children, Apple, 3, and Moses, 1, is taking a break from movies.
“I’m not doing another film until next fall,” Gwyn said. “Everything is about family, I’m putting movies on a backburner. London is my home for now - this is where [husband Chris Martin] and I are concentrating our time.”
Gwyn’s new superhero flick, Iron Man, opens on May 2.

I bet you she is taking “time off” from movies because she is not getting the offers that she used to get. Let’s face it. She is not really relevant anymore and not a lot of people like her. It is well known within the industry, amongst journalists, and the public that she is a smug snot and a lot of the movies she has worked on are because she knew the director/writer/actor personally from before (Proof, Talented Mr. Ripely, Perfect Murder etc) so it’s not like anyone new is clamouring to get her to star in their films. The role in iron man was offered to Rachel McAdams first but she turned it down, so her friend Jon Favreau gave it to her. Let’s be real, her bitchy karma is coming back to haunt her. She loves the spotlight (eventhough she pretends not to) so there is no way she would give up so quickly on movies when she just started filming them again.

she’s always going on about how she’s not working much anymore because of her kids why doesn’t she admit the real reason is because no one is interested in her anymore. She still does films it’s just they all suck. All the good roles are going to more talented actresses like Kate Winslet and Cate Blanchett and Gwyneth was the It girl in the laste 90s but she was just never likable and people got sick of her. And now she is like “It’s because I’m a mom now and I don’t know how Kate Winslet and Cate Blanchett manage it” no Gwyneth they do balance it, YOU just need to admit that no one cares about you anymore like the late 90s. I saw her saying how she wants to return to being an artist. ***** stop referring to yourself as an artist. She is such a pretentious obnoxious person that’s why so many peopel dislike her.

The only time she runs to the media is when she has a movie to promote. Her lame husband does the samething when he has a album he wants to push in your face. You want your privacy then don’t do any movies or albums. That is if you really want your privacy. I’ll bet the public will not bother you then.
Gwyneth is amazing. She’s extremely talented and beautiful, how many of you have such a great figure in your mid-30’s while working, working out and looking after her kids. I cannot believe there are so many haters commenting here. I sure wish I looked as beautiful as she does sans make-up. She’s not a sell-out. She has been in awesome movies and she’s a brilliant actress. So why don’t all of you naysayers just p!ss off and b!tch about someone else. She has style and class. At least, even if her fashion sense is dodgy, she doesn’t have an army of stylists/make-up artists etc., making her look “Hollywood Beautiful” 24/7. I admire her, she has chutzpah and I think she has become very comfy in her own skin. Other Hollywood actresses never go a day without their “dream team”. Really now, she may have crap taste in clothes at times but she is beautiful and she most certainly is talented, as is Chris. GO GWYNNIE!
She’s still working? Miramax did a great job of promoting her in the 90s but she really hasn’t done much with her career.
