She would have been the first to tell me to stop calling her cute if she didn’t like it. She’s a Taurus and very stubborn about a lot of things but her response to a compliment is always ….awww mom you have to say that, your my mom! The way I look at it, a compliment is a compliment and it’s better than no one saying anything or worse yet something negative. Take it in stride, be humble and always say thank you. That’s my motto.

Kim, she’s going for modelling or adverts? I’ve gone back to badminton after a 31/2 mths absence. A few aches and pains, my girl seems to be garnering alot of friends at uni in Perth. Have a hseguest or rather a cousin who’s looking for accommodation while she’s working. she’s with me for over a month now.

Well, I may not be 12 anymore but believe it or not i can remember when I was and I liked for people to think I was cute. I always found it to be a compliment just like be told I was pretty. Those people know how old someone is and they do not mean to make someone feel like a 4 year old because they actually mean it as a compliment. Acutally when someone takes it as an insult it is a sign of immaturity. I’m not trying to make someone mad here but it is fact according to psychology. By the time you are 18 you will understand that most likely. When you are in college and some 19 year old guy says you are cute, then you will know it isn’t to make you feel like you are 4.

Kim, I gather you’re in LA. as it’s a good place to be for the likes of your daughter. IT can’t be easy for you juggling yr job with taking her to auditions. Well, I hope she gets a breakthrough. Will root for her and do keep us informed.

Yeap, badminton is fun. I play doubles and am not a strong player as my group has much younger and more agile players.,But I do enjoy a sweat out. However, we play to win besides fun.
