Angelina Jolie is a Party Pig

Angelina Jolie is a Party Pig

Pregnant Angelina Jolie takes 3-year-old daughter Zahara for a little toy shopping at a Party Pig Superstore in in Sunset Valley, Texas last Wednesday.

The mother-daughter duo spent an hour picking up toys. Angie pushed a yellow shopping cart around while Princess Zee clutched onto her blankie. How cute is she?!

According to newly released federal tax filings, it was reported last week that Angie and partner Brad Pitt gave more than $8 million in donations in 2006, with Brad putting in $4,402,317, and Angie donating $4,123,613.

Talk about generosity!

Papa Pitt has been busy shooting his latest film, Tree of Life.

Ugh most of my post dissapeared. Anyway, thanks piper for the transcript. I tuned in tonight to see if they would replay it but they did not. It was much worse what they had. They were discussing the amounts of money all the magazines are willing to pay for the pictures of the celebrities. They had three tabloid editors on from OK, Star and National Enquirer. They were discussing why some celebs got higher amounts than others. They really dissed Nicole Kidman and Halle saying that they won’t get that much. Anyway they discussed that 10 million dollar figure that’s been floating around today and Bonnie Fuller said that there is only one person who can top the JP’s figure…Hold on everyone………she said that X would break records with the baby she wanted to have whenever she has it. I bursted out laughing. Bonnie fuller was in true tabloid editor form. I told you all these editors smoke something wild.

I am a bit late to the discussion re: the In Touch fan fic about the upcoming Brad and Angie wedding. They have delved about two years back to come up with this latest fantasy. Just after Brad and Angie announced their pregnancy, they were on their way to Davos, and had stopped off in London, when this story first surfaced. They said at that time that Angie said there were no immediate plans to marry, but that they would consider doing so, if when the kids got older, they asked them to. This is recycled b**l s**t.

I am embarassed to confess that i used to buy these lying pieces of c**p, and believe them too. They used to, at that time, write favorable articles about the JPs. And then everything changed. I dont like being a conspiracy theorist, but i am beginning to believe that X’s PR really has an in with some of these magazines

piper, with a low @ 03/27/2008 at 8:37 pm

I appreciate your sacrifices to bring us the transcript of the Hollywood 411 segment . I hope you haven’t suffered any permanent damage :D Serafin is an idiot, quoting a “friend” do you think these magazines have a full time person just to keep track of their lies?

Hi anoble, waving back to you. I dont get to post as much as i would like to, but i lurk every day.

Piper with a low,

Thanks for the transcript. When I read it, I didn’t know whether to barf or laugh at what this kim woman said. Like as if the insider wasn’t completely made up inside her own head.

Frenchy, either kim was smoking or she is schizophrenic and hears insider voices in her head. Can anyone believe her??

Mrs Smith, I agree; I agree; I agree.

The film is directed by Robert Schwentke, who previously worked with James Horner on Flightplan. Great Balls of Fire: Jerry Lee Lewis still kickin’

Q. As both a Louisiana native and Mississippi resident, how did Katrina affect you? What do you think of the recovery efforts?

Listen, that was a bad scene down there. My house in Mississippi was not hit, we got a heavy rainstorm after Katrina moved inland but I live up north in Mississippi by Memphis. I had just gotten back home the night Katrina hit. I had played a show in Biloxi, Miss. I turned on the news the next day and the casino I had been at was blown into the middle of the highway!

But I’m not too happy about the way that was handled down there afterwards. The government let the people down big time. I went down to the Lower Ninth Ward [in New Orleans] several months ago to help out Brad Pitt, who’s rebuilding that area. It was a mess, even after all this time. Houses gone, nothing but cement foundations. We played a benefit show for the folks. New Orleans is a city I love. Louisiana is my home state and I’ll do anything for her. ‘World War Z’ Gets an Early Script Review

Posted Mar 27th 2008 7:32PM by Jessica Barnes
Filed under: Drama, Horror, Sci-Fi & Fantasy, RumorMonger, Scripts, Brad Pitt
If nothing else, at least fans of Max Brooks’ book World War Z can be a little more at ease with the idea of a big screen version. AICN reports that they have gotten their hands on an early version of the script for the ‘zombie drama’ World War Z … and what’s the verdict? According to them, “I love this script. Love every dark, somber, upsetting page of it. This is a horror epic, a serious, sober-minded adult picture waiting to be made, and it’s one of the best pieces of screenwriting craft I’ve encountered in a while.” AICN’s review also goes into detail about some of the plot for the film, so if you haven’t read the book and like to be surprised you might want to avoid reading the whole review.

News of the film first emerged last February, when it was first announced that Brad Pitt’s Plan B Productions would produce a feature film. The structure of the novel is a compendium of stories from survivors of a war between the living and the undead. The plot jumps time and space, so it must not have been an easy task to weave all these stories into one narrative. The task fell to J. Michael Straczynski (a comic book writer and a creator of TVs Babylon 5), and it would appear that he has done a bang up job of it.

It looks like Pitt and company might have a completed script on their hands (especially when you consider what a tough audience the AICN crowd can be). But, the big questions still remain: who will direct, and who will star in the film? According to sources, Pitt is still in the running to play the lead, but nothing has been confirmed. A tentative release date of 2010 has been mentioned, but that could always change. So now is your chance for suggestions: What directors do you think could handle what AICN called, “a genre-defining piece of work that could well see us all arguing about whether or not a zombie movie qualifies as “Best Picture” material?”

We’re approaching three years. Almost three years ago, Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf coast as a Category 5 storm. It’s no longer making headlines, but after a trip down there this past break with the COVE and some 20 other Colgate students, it was clear to me that the city is still somewhat dysfunctional, with some sections barely touched since the aftermath of the hurricane. Those that who were able to get car insurance park their new Cadillacs and Corvettes next to their trailer homes. The downtown area, containing the Superdome and the tourist-y French Quarter, however, are almost untouched, or at least show no signs of being once submerged in 20 feet of water.

Missing the Jolie Pitts. Thank for the heads up the new thread with the babies is disgusting. The trolls have taken it over.

Behar to Barack: ‘Are You Related to Brad Pitt?’

Joy Behar got right to the heart of the matter that could ultimately decide the election.

“I understand,” Behar said to presidential candidate Barack Obama, “that you’re related to Brad Pitt, in some way.”

What The View host – who, along with her colleagues, welcomed the Democratic Illinois U.S. senator to the ABC daytime show Friday – was referring to was a claim by the New England Historic Genealogical Society that Pitt and Obama are distant cousins, linked by one Edwin Hickman, who died in Virginia in 1769.

“Are you related to Brad Pitt?” pressed Behar, according to clips provided by ABC.

“I guess we’re ninth cousins, something, removed – or something,” said Obama, 46, adding modestly, “I think he got the better-looking side of the gene pool.”

The comment prompted the show’s matriarch, Barbara Walters, to tell the senator: “We were saying just before you came out – maybe we shouldn’t say this. But we thought you were very sexy looking.”

Have a good day

Has Jennifer Aniston found a young new man to call her own?

The unlucky-in-love actress was spotted having dinner with the not-so-single Orlando Bloom at Beso in Los Angeles.

“They were sitting very close,” said our onlooker, “and she was looking at him like he was her favorite guy in the world.”

Hmm…..we wonder what Orlando’s model girlfriend Miranda Kerr would have to say about this?!?

Darfur: in danger of closure, UN humanitarian air operation gets reprieve

28 March 2008 – Thanks to the infusion of much-needed funds, the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) announced today that its critical air transports for aid workers in war-ravaged Darfur will be operational for an additional month.
Some 8,000 relief workers in Darfur use the Humanitarian Air Service (WFP-HAS) monthly to provide much-needed food, water and health care services, but WFP announced last month that it would be grounded by 31 May due to a lack of funds.

With contributions totalling over $6 million, WFP-HAS will not be able to keep 24 helicopters and airplanes in the air until the end of April.

“Thanks to the European Commission, Ireland and other donors, humanitarian work in Darfur and other parts of Sudan will not be interrupted – for the time being,” said Kenro Oshidari, WFP Representative in Sudan.

He voiced hope that more donors will step up, noting that $77 million is needed to keep WFP-HAS, which is vital amid deteriorating security conditions on the roads, running this year.

The service also received $500,000 each from the UN Common Humanitarian Fund and Not On Our Watch, the humanitarian organization founded by actors George Clooney, Don Cheadle, Matt Damon, Brad Pitt, producer Jerry Weintraub and civil rights lawyer David Pressman.

Insecurity and banditry plague the roads, with WFP announced this week that three drivers of agency-contracted trucks had recently been murdered in Sudan, making the air operation more important than ever.
