Older‘Prison Break’ Season 4 Picked Up
Nick Santora, writer and co-executive producer of Prison Break, just announced on his blog that season 4 was just officially picked up by FOX. (Yes, that is Santora to the right with Prison Break Oragami Crane earrings.)
Santora wrote, “So we got word on Wednesday that we are officially picked up by the network for Season 4. This is great news. We are all very excited. We are moving offices onto the Fox Studio Lot next week and we had to say goodbye to the offices that were our home for the past 3 years … not really that sad because, well, c’mon, it’s just a frickin’ building. But my new office is about half the size with just a tiny window which normally would suck except for one thing … I get to go to work everyday with people I love and respect and I get to be creative. So I don’t really give a rat’s *** what our new offices look like! For those of you who celebrate Easter, have a great one. I will be at my home having Easter dinner with family (visiting cousins) and friends (including Prison Break writer Kalinda Vazquez) — it should be a nice weekend leading into an even better week of diving head-first into Season 4! Seriously? Why did FOX pick it up for another season. The ratings are low, the show has been been going downhill ever since season one. They have stretched the story too long and I’ve stopped watching it, like many others. It’s a shame, because the first season was really, really good.

Hi Sally ,i think PB is more intersting as a show than as a movie in cinema beacause you can learn more about characters and there are many stories that writers relate in a show and they have more time.Went thinks also that it’s not good idea to see PB in cinema, anyway,the show is like a movie Paul T.Scheuring said that they have a cinematographic view of the show…so a movie of PB in cinema seems to be too much and i don’t think it will happen..

I stopped watching PB Season 3 because of the horrible way they dealt with Sarah Wayne Callies and the character of Sara. IMO, she and Went together were what made the show watchable. Of course FOX, not content to follow the original storyline, had to go and jump the shark…what dummies…!
Wentworth is a talented actor but PB S3 kept playing him on the same note. The show became too dark and violent, devoid of hope, without a soul. Guess the writers forgot to take their meds…
I would watch Season 4 only if they brought back Dr. Sara. If they give Michael a new love interest, we fans should boycott NOT ONLY PB but ALL FOX programming!!!!!

Nick is a super talented writer and you guys are bagging him. And Wentworth, well don’t get me started! He is a fantastic actor and i have nothing but respect for him.

If Nick was such a ‘kick ass’ writer he could have thought up a way not to kill SWC off the show. Dr. Sara wasn’t great - to be honest there was not much on screen chemistry between her and Michael. She was kind of boring. Gretchen provides more entertaining viewing.
I see major on screen chemistry between Michael and Gretchen in that last episode. Maybe he’ll end up falling for Gretchen, wouldn’t that be funny.
Can’t wait for Season 4, and hope it continues for the rest of my life……only if Wentworth is in it. I love the show!

Prison Break used to be a great show by the first and second seasons..season 3,,wasn’t soo succesful cz of the writers strike and stuff..so i guess season 4 will be intresting..

I ‘m not a crazy fan but i like very much wentworth and last Sunday i saw him but i also have been witness of a strange situation but unforgettable:
yeah Went is in L.A since sunday i was in LAX:airport with my mum, before i have come back in L.A i was in Seattle.I like PB and i found wentworth in the airport he was with a black woman some fans say that she’s his assistant or ‘a Fox’s agent’, i saw girls fans who waited for him,she looked for him but didn’t find him unfortunatly.(when i saw these girls i didn’t know she waited wentworth yet) ten minutes arfter i was out of the airport with my mother and a car was parked not far from my mother’s car there was a woman who get out from this car and I SAW HIM (W.M) walked to her and they kissed each other i mean a real love kiss(i knew even i’m not a fanatic that media said W.M has no girlfriend or that he’s gay but it’s wrong) he has someone i don’t know if it’s a serious relationship but it’s seems as they love each other i didn’t walk to them i just so this kiss…i’m happy for him and this woman is a lucky woman she’s not ugly: dark hair white woman not very tall…this is the only information i have

i have red 3 years ago somewhere in the net that Went grew up in a traditional muslim family who have strict rules (don’t listen pop music or tv ,work hard for studies…) and that he has also christians and jews in his family but i’m curious to know more about his religion , is he a practising believer? Maybe his mother is a muslim and his father too but has make convertion in islam ,his father’s grand parents had to know Malcolm X period…this is possible

He never ate with the other cast or crew or extras; always took his tray back to his trailer - I assumed to study his lines for upcoming scenes. All the other actors did eat with us though. Go figure. I only witnessed one instance of “prima donna” behaviour in the six months I worked with him. During the scene where he’s challenging Whistler to the chicken foot fight “THIS MAN IS NO FRIEND OF MINE”….. one of the extras grabbed his shoulder
and told him “really good work there man”. Went jerked away and very LOUDLY screamed “DON’T TOUCH ME!!!!!!!!!”. Everyone, well the extras anyway, was kind of freaked out by that. It was even a running joke for a few days until some people took it too far and casting came down on all of us telling us if we didn’t stop the jokes we’d all be sent home and replaced. Maybe Went had recently had a shot or something and his arm still hurt…maybe he had had a new tattoo there…maybe he’d been in a bar fight the night before or was still sore from having rough sex… We’ll never know. Point is, you can’t judge someone by one instance without knowing the whole story, and who here hasn’t had a bad day at work.

It’s funny to look at the beginning of the filming and again at the
end. When we first started we’d see someone like Went walking our way and the little voice in my head would say (in a little girly voice) “Oh my god! Here comes Wentworth Miller”. After almost six months on the sets I hardly even noticed whether he was there or not! HAHA! Also the difference in the “prisoners” at the beginning and the end of the season. For the first few shows theyhad us all dirty and mean faced. When Scofield blew up the pipe to get the water running in Sona again it was as if we were transferred to a gay country club - all bright colors and “how’s it going” handshakes all around. We were supposed to be the “worst of the worst” prisoners in Panama but somehow that never translated to the screen.

that day went had to be primadonna.. i think that scene was very hard for went to express because he had to be very angry and yell over and over at the scene.. eventhough real went is very good and shy and calm person.
and as soon as the scene was okay.. he was still michael.. he couldn’t escape from michael.. still angry…. and exausted ..
at that moment the extra touched him.. so he’s got bursted out..
i can understand went.

we never know really someone if we don’t live with,went is an human being so is not perfect .he says himself that he is an introvert person that he’s like to be alone, he’s normal as anybody else but people see him on tv ,he has become famous so they deduct that he ’s calm kind blabla ..just because they saw him one day they think they know him…wentworth must be laugh ,he doesn’t like star system he’s awesome!
