Older‘Prison Break’ Season 4 Picked Up
Nick Santora, writer and co-executive producer of Prison Break, just announced on his blog that season 4 was just officially picked up by FOX. (Yes, that is Santora to the right with Prison Break Oragami Crane earrings.)
Santora wrote, “So we got word on Wednesday that we are officially picked up by the network for Season 4. This is great news. We are all very excited. We are moving offices onto the Fox Studio Lot next week and we had to say goodbye to the offices that were our home for the past 3 years … not really that sad because, well, c’mon, it’s just a frickin’ building. But my new office is about half the size with just a tiny window which normally would suck except for one thing … I get to go to work everyday with people I love and respect and I get to be creative. So I don’t really give a rat’s *** what our new offices look like! For those of you who celebrate Easter, have a great one. I will be at my home having Easter dinner with family (visiting cousins) and friends (including Prison Break writer Kalinda Vazquez) — it should be a nice weekend leading into an even better week of diving head-first into Season 4! Let’s say you are writing a novel, action/adventure story and Went is the main character, he leads some kind of double life, what would you write aibout, what are his “secrets”?
This could be fun, hey we couldn’t do any than the Prison Break “writers” now could we?

O.K., the story would be set in London and span travels in different places such as Portugal, Rome, the British Islands, Denmark, the Caribbean, Poland and Russia.
O.K., his character’s name could be DanielKeys and the opening chapter is set in England.
Daniel sits in the shadows of the train bridge, mesmerized by the flickering of the sunlight dancting around through the tree branches in the wooded area beyond thinking how did his life come to this? When Daniel was fifteen years of age he seemed so sure, so full of hope. Anyone who asked Daniel “What do you want to do when you grow up?” would get the sure reply from Daniel “I am going to work for the C.I.A. and pull in all of the bad guys!”

#204 “Creative Writing Experiment” Cont’d.
Daniel’s high school years went by too slowly according to him, he achieved good grades “yes” but daydreamed throughout his classes especially English Literature which was especially tedious and boring for him. Daydreaming was definitely more desirable than physically
sleeping in class which would only lead to a stiff neck. Daydreams could lead to something, they could plant goals and desires in one’s head and then maybe, “yes” maybe someday one could achieve one’s goals and Daniel’s goal was so very clear to him as if God had Himself whispered it to him through the wind secretly when one else was around. Daniel’s dream was to work for the C.I.A.
“Yes”, this was a desirable life work, to be part of that admirable organization called the C.I.A., it also had an air of mystery and intrigue to it, the idea was something Daniel could sink his teeth into, the goal one that he could sacrifice and yearn for.

Continued Creative Writing Experiment from #208
The one and only class that kept Daniel from daydreaming about his future goals was choir because Daniel definitely had inherited his mother’s musical abilities and he could sing beautifully! He loved singing so much that he would often catch himself singing out loud while doing such mundane tasks such as shopping for groceries or going to get Barnie’s coffee having then to make a note to self to stop singing out loud in public unless in choir of course. Daniel had a fine sense of humor about him and after reminding himself not to sing while shopping or grabbing coffee at the local cafe he would then laugh out loud at himself , smiling at his inner joke and people just thought he was the happiest guy!
Daniel’s choir sang “For Unto Us a Child is Born” in his Junior year and he fell in love with whole “Messiah” by Handel often listening to it at home and pretending to conduct it while singing at home alone in his study room.
Daniel knew that once he reached his goal of working for the C.I.A. it would be all consuming and he would no longer have time for such pleasures in life such as music and singing and so he relished his choir classes singing his part loudly, gaining much satisfaction from this activity.

The heat from the afternoon sun was suddenly burning into his skin and Daniel was abruptly brought back to the present as he sat near that train bridge, no longer in the shadows but in the direct sun. I had better get home to Clarissa quickly or it’ll be “Off with my head.”
Clarissa paced impatiently back and forth between the front door and the
piano wondering if she should really leave this time or just dive into her music and try to forget about being disappointed again.
