Rumor has it that Ashnessa is headed out to Utah for four weeks to start filming High School Musical 3. Tentative release date for the film is October 24th!

Can we STOP with the Ashley bashing! Just STOP!!!! It’s so immature and revolting. Ashley is a great girl, so is Vanessa and we already know they are not PERFECT! Nobody can be. If you prefer one over the other, please keep it to yourself, don’t torture the rest of us by making us have to read these convoluted comments.
It’s their lives, their money, their relationships and their choices. They’ve chosen to be best friends with good reason (real friendships are hard to find in hollywood). If you can’t handle it, hop off but don’t attempt to tell them how to live their lives and don’t make the rest of us cringe in shame.
This goes to both Vanessa and Ashley fans who think they are doing thir stars favours by abusing their best friend. Sheesh! I thought common sense was supposed to be common.

1) Vanessa and Aly look better as friends- that is the DUMBEST think I’ve every heard!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you pick your friends by their LOOKS????? Who cares what you “look like” with your best friend???? And who are YOU to pronounce them better friends, cause they “look better together”????
2) Ashley is nothing special……HOW DO YOU KNOW???? You don’t know ANY of these people. None of us do! I’m sure they’re all very different in private.
3) Ashley has too much luggage to go to Utah for your taste. OMG. Are you kidding me??? Why is that ANY of your business? They will be there for 11 weeks, needing clothes for hanging out, going out, dancing rehearsals, sleeping, etc. etc. Why do you care??

Vanessa and Ashley have wonderful friendship in the universe. The two of them will last until death do them apart, because friendship goes for life. Whenever you see these two beautiful young actresses together, you could feel the love and joy that they have for one and other. You can tell they truly support each other through happy times and harsh times. Both of them are very beautiful, sweet, and kind. They are both very talent in singing, acting, and performing. These actually looks like real life sister. They are so proud to be in the company of each other. If you look at Zac with Vanessa, sometime he doesn’t feel so proud to be accompany by her. However, Ashley and Vanessa are always proud and enjoy being around each other by the way they smile and laugh. Every since Hairspray, I feel Zac became sorted stuck-up and forget where his true stardom really started from. I’m not trying to put Zac down, but he does appears that way in some of the pictures. I hoping both Vanessa and Ashley will succeed in the entertaining business. And with the two staying true to each other, they will be very successful. I am fan to the both of them, and enjoy of their performances. I am looking forward for both of their future musics, movies, and other entertainment projects. Best wishes to both Vanessa and Ashley. You tell them!! I thought those comments were the lamest I’d ever heard and sounded very much like middle school or high school type ideas. One of my best friends looks nothing like me and her personality is quite different. However, I would really hate for someone to say I LOOK better with someone else and that’s why I should be friends with the other person! It’s like people who say Zac looks better with Ashley rather than Vanessa. Honey, believe me, whether you look a certain way with someone is NOT what causes people to be together. And you can’t make a judgment of what someone will look like just because of their clothes and the house they live in. I remember a girl in elementary school who had really bad hand-me-down clothes and people treated her badly because of it. BUT she was really nice and funny and she made better grades than any of us. And as i got older I met people who had so much money it was unreal and yet a lot of those people were the nicest people I had ever met. Just because they were used to shopping at the high price stores didn’t mean they looked down on someone like me that was just a normal middle class person.

1) i didn’t say aly & vanessa LOOK better together as friends! i said vanessa & aly look really close, you don’t usually see vanessa & ashley holding hands like that. what i said is aly & vanessa look like they get along very well. i’m sory, but to me “ashnessa” is just bleh; they just always look bored to me, at least out in public. i know they seem have to fun sometimes, but aly & vanessa seemed to have a lot of fun the other day, & they didn’t look as boring to me. but of course i can’t choose vanessa’s friends. i think it’s great ashley & vanessa are friends, but i like aly better. sorry for having an opinion.
2) Ashley is nothing special to me AS A CELEBRITY, & as i said i think she’s kind of boring. i’m not saying her & vanessa never get along or have fun, i just think aly & vanessa look very charasmatic together. but of course vanessa’s much closer to ashley, but i just think aly & vanessa are funner to watch hanging out.
3) the luggage. she doesn’t need a different outfit for every single day! i just think she could of gone a LITTLE lighter. & don’t airports have limits on luggage? at least the airports i’ve been to do & it’s not like they have that much time to go out, i mean they’re there for work. i know they’ll go out, but still! but hey - who am i to say?

I don’t see where you are coming from with the Zac doesn’t look like he is proud to be with Vanessa at times. I have never seen pictures of these two where he doesn’t look like he is on cloud 9 being with her. One of his quotes about her is “She makes everything sparkle” and you can see him sparkle by the look in his eyes when he is near her.

I understand what you’re saying. But I think you’re basing this on pics taken by the paparazzi. Zac feels very uncomfortable have his relationship with Vanessa out there for everyone to watch them doing ordinary things. Most of the pics you see, he’s in paparazzi mode, with his jaw clenched. And the paps do ask rude questions.
The way Vanessa and Ashley handle it is by giggling and acting like two crazy teenage girls–probably a nervous reaction. When Vanessa’s with Zac and the paps start snapping, she behaves the same way he does: Pretend they’re not there. Ignore them, ignore them, ignore them. Hurry to the car. God, let’s get out of here.
But, when they are at an event where there are no paparazzi–just professional photo agencies such as Getty and Wire Image–they are comfortable and relaxed and can be themselves. And no one is yelling stupid questions at them.
So, you have to take into account the situation Zac and Vanessa are in when the pictures are taken.
Go Sox, I hear congrats should come your way. I hear your daughter got engaged and I’m suppose to ask how he asked her. I want details, please!!! Congrats to your daughter and future son-n-law!!!
There are definate differences in the style of photographers for sure. Photoshoots and arranged appearances do not let scum paps in. They are outside the arenas getting them coming and going and shouting obnoxiously at them. Any celeb would have a different facial expression or body language with that. Plus Zac is just being defensive about his personal relationships and doesn’t want to always be analyzed. Do you blame him??

Friendships based on appearances,ie, looks and dressing and background and how much you have in yr a/c are truly superficial.
From my experience it’s sharing of a common interest that continuously brings you together. Vanessa and Ashley had spent long hrs together in auditions, hsm, hsm2, the concert, tour promotions. These are all factors that brought them closer together. Besides Vanessa and Ashley have similar interests and are in the same profession. Vanessa and Ashley shares a closeness we will never know and I hope it will be forever.
As to Vanessa and Ashley making new friends, I totally approve and it’s healthy. Making new friends does not mean you have to abandon on your old friends. But sometimes distance makes it a little more difficult to maintain a closeness.
Karen and Malia, yes it is ridiculous what some of the posters deduce by just a picture. Zac and Vanessa were very much together by the last pics of them. I’m not saying anymore. You and the other compatriots have clarified enough times already.
