OMG! I am in a shock. Part 1.First of all, i am sorry for my english cause it’s not my native language. I live in Baltic States (it is north of exs USSR,now it is new EU countries) in Letland. And even from here during last month I come across this peace of ****, each time when I check my yahoo mail. I can’t say that i am a big fan of Orlando,but i respected him for his acting style (I am am imposed by the European style of actor’s skill). It was pleasant to me, that he plays those roles which he like, not chasing for ratings and tabloids. He has enough money what to dare to be filming or to not be filming there where he wants.

I have a feeling that if he was gonna grow up he would have done it already. I think he was raised as the king of the household, by a doting mother who couldn’t see any of his faults. Pictures of them together always make me sad, because it always looks like his sister is shunted off to the side, and Orlando is center stage. Take that foundation and add into it the attention, fame, money, and almost worship like intensity of some of his fans, and a monster has been created. I wonder if his mom knows this. For someone who says he loves his family and they are the most important people in his life, he sure lives a long way from them. And it is not because of work, and even though his diehard delusional fans say he HAS to be in LA to get work, everyone knows that is hogwash. He is in LA because he likes the party lifestyle. I wonder if his mom has tried to talk to him, or sent his biological dad there to talk to him and to suggest he may need some help. The easiest way to ignore that and shut what he probably sees as nagging up, is to distance himself, and he has sure done that. He lives in LA, he has only set foot in the UK once since October and that was a flying two night stay and then right back out.. He has made new friends, party friends, friends that may indulge in the comsuption of illegal substances, he has people around him telling him how talented he is, how sexy he is, how this movie or that movie is gonna garner him respect. (my god does he really think a Johnny To movie is going to get him noticed. 99% of the people will never see it. I would be surprised if it is widely released in the states and that is IF it even gets made. And all of these people feeding him the lie are people who work for him, people whose job it is is to butter him up, prop up his ego, lie to him about what great oppotunities are out there.
His fans say “oh our boy Orly is such a great actor all these directors love him, and he is not working because 1. long break (how long like forever?) 2. Writers Strike 3. he is just waiting for the perfect little indie film that will let him shine. he got that chance and blew it. At the same time he alineated alot of well known brits who could have been valuable to have in his corner if he wanted to make more British films. his fans have tied themselves in to knots screaming at everyone that he had to drop out because of scheduling conflicts, and anyway Nick Hornby is a jerk, no talented prick. My question is if Orly is so wonderfully talented why aren’t great directors knocking down his door. Answer, his fan base was teenagers and old ladies with a few jaded mommy types who made him their hero. Teenagers have moved on, most of the old ladies have finally figured out what he is, so that only leaves the delusional mommy types who just can’t believe their hero is a party guy who whores around and acts like a jerk. Even some of them are starting to wonder, because of this stupid fake/nonfake relationship he is pimping with the model who acts like a junior high plastic girl. I think he had a small window to make his switch from teeny bopper heart throb into serious actor, and that window has slammed shut, and his stupidity has locked it for good.
rant over, I think I am more pissed at his idiot fans than I am at this mentally challenged freak with the fantastic looks who has had his ride.
