JC Chasez: I’m Not Dating Chace Crawford!

Former boybander JC Chasez has gone on the record to officially proclaim and he’s not gay and he’s not dating Gossip Girl hunk Chace Crawford.

“For the record, we’re both straight,” JC told Kiss FM 104.7. “We’re not dating.”

Added JC, “Let’s clear that up real quickly and the thing is, we don’t even get to hang out that much. We are friends, absolutely, the guy is a super nice guy and he’s a friend of mine but you know the only time people would usually see us together is in some type of photograph so they just assume that it’s like that. You know people hang out with their best friends every day… and I don’t even see this guy every day. He’s a friend of mine, like I said, it’s just ridiculous. The fact of the matter is, if I’m standing next to a girl and I don’t have a girlfriend all the sudden I’m dating her. If I’m dating a girl and I’m standing next to another girl I’m having an affair, so now since there hasn’t been any of that smoke out there in a minute now if I’m hanging out with a guy they’re going to make up a rumor, it’s just stupid now.”

Ya heard, America? These JC gay rumors are stupid!

JC is a judge on the MTV reality competition show America’s Best Dance Crew, which has its live finale this Thursday @ 10PM ET/PT. It’s the JabbaWockeeZ versus Status Quo!

if i had a dollar for every guy i’ve met who claims to be “straight” while sucking **** or getting fucked, I’d be rich. Whether they are bi, or just “curious” the homo vibe these 2 have (whether separate or together) is just way too strong to ignore…and it is not just cause they are well groomed or have faggy hair (as someone puts it)
it goes beyond that. Next to these 2, Lance Bass actually looks butch…GASP. Very few celeb homos would admit their gayness when confronted.
Those who do come out is either cause they have balls or are confronted with evidence they can’t refute (hello George Michael).
I am gay and my gaydar goes on overdrive whenever I see these 2.
Aside from that, I think Chase can do way better.

lol, does anybody seriously think jc and chase are dating or anything? i think people just say it on online blogs as a joke (like michael k on dlisted, etc). jc doesnt have to try and defend himself.. nobody takes this seriously. we know they are just friends but lets be honest, we come on these blogs to speculate a little or joke around about these celebrities sometimes.

What happened to “no publicity is bad publicity”? Really, the more JC protests the more the rumors will stick. And by the way, rumors that a has-been boybander is dating the hottie-du-jour is NOT bad press in this day and age.

They could be bi, why do men always have to be defined as gay or straight ?
it’s not impossible for men to enjoy sex with both men and women, in fact I know quite a few guys who are bisexual are they are really comfortable with it and both men and women hit on them constantly
