Star Magazine has a pretty upsetting piece on Grey’s Anatony star Justin Chambers–and photographic evidence to justify at least some of their story.
The mag claims the father-of-five drifted in and out of consciousness (at the bar!), rambled incoherently, annoyed patrons and even hit on a waitress!
“He was acting as if he was on drugs, like some kind of downers. His eyes were glazed over. He slurred his words and staggered when he tried to walk,” the eyewitness said. “At one point, he was hunched over a table, then abruptly woke up and shouted out of the blue, ‘I am a father of five kids! I am a damn good father! Leave me alone!’ It was really unsettling.”

Justin, 37, checked into the Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital at UCLA Medical Center late January for a “biological sleep disorder”.

OK, I get all about the insomia and all but then what the hell was he doing up there in a bar uh?.
And I can’t believe he’s taking this road.
Whatever is wrong with him, this is really sad. I hope he gets help. The ‘I’m a good father, leave me alone!’ is a weird thing to say though.
Wake up, people! It is called ADDICTION! Sleep disorder is a SPIN. Heath Ledger was crawling out of his skin in interviews, his publicists had to come up with something so they had him mention sleep problems and medications to avert negative press. All of you sympathizers are ENABLERS! Do you know what happens when you ENABLE? Look at Heath…
look what is in front of him, glass of water. I think they snap tons of pic of him and chose the ones that makes him look like he is drunk. if you dont pose for pic they can come out like that. and he probably took a photo with a fan, maybe even on cell phone, he is kind of looking up. it is not like he is kissing someone. i think star is the most evil magazine and could ruine this man’s life and his family.

Did you see the autopsy report on Heath? He had anti-anxiety meds, sleeping medication in his system and a few other things which is conducent to someone having a sleeping disorder. You obviously don’t know crap about the issue or you would know how serious a sleeping disorder is and how much it affects you physically and mentally. Taking sleeping meds like Ambien may help you sleep but they also have other side-effects and they take a toll on a person.
I still haven’t seen any proof that Justin’s problem is anything other than a sleeping disorder. If anything, all these reports are just proving he has serious sleep issues. I find it sad that people like you have absolutely no sympathy for someone who is obviously going through a rough time. Justin was humble enough to know he couldn’t get better on his own so he sought out medical help. Maybe if Heath had done the same he would still be among us. It’s people like you who accuse without knowing that many celebs avoid getting medical/professional help when they have a problem. So yes, I do sympathize with Justin because he had a problem and got help for it. Supporting isn’t enabling. It’s telling and showing someone that you’re happy that they are working on getting better. I’d rather support Justin (and other people that have problems) than have your negative and accusatory attitude. YOU are the reason why many people, specifically celebs who are in the spotlight, don’t get the help they need. So you’re the one who should wake up.

No disprespect to the dead (Heath) but i don’t think he sought “help” for his condition, right?
Also, even if the “reports” said he had prescription pills to treat his “sleeping disorder” it doesn;t mean he didn’t abuse the drugs and have an addiction and hence “accidentally overdose”. There are many people who are addicted to prescription pills.
With this dude, if he checked himself in to be “treated” , then he wouldn’t be in this ill condition still .
And blurting out that he is a good dad etc? well that may be an indication that those around him are queestioning his abilities etc.
I wish the guy and his family well. I hope Keisha sticks by him a bit longer and help hm on the road to recovery. I hope the kids are fine and are not being affected by this.

Whether he has a sleeping disorder or not, he needs to trash the alcohol and the cigarettes from his system completely and take care of his body.
Why can’t he sleep? Is there something physically wrong such as chronic pain that keeps him awake?
Does he think too much, have a racing mind or have a bipolar condition? Either way, he needs professional help. If it’s physical, how could he last all these years without good sleep? A person can go insane.
I think it’s psychological and that he could have been a drug addict or alcoholic years ago and is now slipping back to his old ways since he’s become more famous.
Leave him the h.e.l.l. alone. omg do you people really believe everything the tabloids report??
For all of you that are bad mouthing JC, just stop it. The man has an illness. What is wrong with you people.???? He is going thru a ruff time. He needs our prayers and kindness in this nightmare he is living in. If any of you had this illness or any type of illness how would you like it if people talked about you like that.
I’d like to see some of youafter you have not been able to sleep for a week or more.
And last but not less it is NOT embarassing, it’s heartbreaking.
