Kate Hudson is good girl gone to war as she struts around the set of her new film Bride Wars with a robe and umbrella on Thursday in New York City.
Co-star Anne Hathaway (seen below) was also on the set carrying a salad and a copy of the New York Times.
The plot involves two best friends who become rivals when they schedule their respective weddings on the same day!
WHAT WOULD YOU DO if your best friend scheduled their wedding on the same day?

Is that a bad wig that Kate Hudson is wearing? Yet, she looks better than Anne in those pics… Her features seem more refined than Anne’s. Nice make up too!

been there my best friend scheduled her wedding the exact same day. i had to be at the hairstylist watching her bridesmaids stare down mine to get a chair. then our friends had to choose whose wedding they would attend. i had a beautiful wedding though and we dont talk to each other any more!

This movie seems fun. I just hope that they make both women likeable instead of turning them into monsters just because of the wedding.

Kate looks a little rough in these pictures. She has on a lot of makeup. At least seem to be giving her a little more of a refined style for this movie. I was having a lot of trouble picturing Kate and Anne as best friends.
Every time I see Kate Hudson now — I think that country star (and American Idol alum) Carrie Underwood looks just like her! Does anyone else see this? And, if possible, I would choose another date from my friend’s wedding so each could enjoy one another’s. I think whoever got engaged first should have first dibs … just a thought.
