High School Musical 3 — FIRST PICTURES!!
BFFs Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale (with puppy Maui) are seen leaving a rigorous four-hour dance rehearsal at a top secret location in Utah on Thursday.
Of course, this was in preparation for their upcoming feature film, High School Musical 3: Senior Year, which also costars Lucas Grabeel (below).
Also spotted on set, but not pictured below: Monique Coleman, Olesya Rulin, Chris Warren Jr and director/choreographer Kenny Ortega.
Seems like the gang is all back together–but where’s Zac Efron and Corbin Bleu?? Stay tuned for new pics from the set of HSM3, which has a tentative release date of Friday, Oct. 24.

Frankly, it would seem that Zac could be anywhere—even Utah—just because of the same reason that so many think he isn’t in Utah—-we have NO pictures of him anywhere! The two guys are suppose to be basketball players so who knows, maybe they had to do some extra stuff before leaving the studio. For me, information like that tells me where he is even without a picture—since pictures can be deceiving by having the wrong date posted, etc. But Corbin is a dancer and catches on so fast it is not hard to believe he will have no problems. However, it was reported last week that he was already in Utah. So, maybe he has been there and left to go to LA for this benefit tonight.

Maybe zac was given something with the dance moves (dvd, step by step illustrations, etc.) so he could practice on his own until he got to utah. That way he won’t be too far behind.
I am sure the choreographers have been working on these moves for a while and were able to get them down in a such a way as to enable anyone to follow them with out guidance.

There are many actors I really love and some who I do not like. Yes, I saw your post and I do enjoy those kind of posts whether they be true, false, or in between! LOL But in this case I would guess that that report is mostly true. I was reported how they burnt up the phone lines when they were apart while Zac was in Toronto filming Hairspray and she was on the HSM tour so I doubt it is any less the situation now. At least they have the money to be able to talk all they want and whenever they can.
Vanessa’s put on some pounds! She will work them off soon, with all the dancing. Ashley looks like a twig compared to her.

Just because we don’t see Zac in these pics don’t mean he isn’t there. We don’t see a pic of Monique but she’s suppose to be there. Plus, if someone was giving Vanessa a hard time and Zac was around I’m sure he would step in to protect her in anyway he could but I think Vanessa and Ashley was much safer in that airport with all the security around them than when Vanessa was out with Ally over the weekend on the streets of LA—Zac was not there to protect her then—she did it all on her own and did it well. Whether Zac is in Utah or not cannot be determined because of him not revealing himself at LAX just because Vanessa was being photographed by the paps. She was fairly safe there and if that was him in the hoodie he knew she was safe.
No, we have no proof he is in Utah, but we don’t have definite proof he is in London either. She works very hard.. and is even part of charities like the Best Buddie foundation .. The only reason she didn’t sign the autographs the other day was because she was completely hounded by the paparazzi .. It would’ve been difficult to get to the little girl with all those people surrounding her .. And how the hell would you know if she’s selfish or self centered??? If she was so selfish then she wouldn’t have given a homeless man money .. And you have no proof as to whether she’s self centered.. So think before you speak .. I agree they are talented..they all are. But, these movies gave them a great start and whether you feel they’re too youthful for you or the style isn’t your cup of tea, they are intelligent movies…the right formula’s there…if it wasn’t, the first one wouldn’t have been such a hit. And if you are a fan of Ashley and Zac at least, then have some faith in their ability to make good decisions…they could have decided not to sign contracts for the movies.
Anyway, it’s nice to see that the gang is getting to work together this last time and I’m sure Kenny’s got them running circles already. :-) I’m sure this movie will be every bit as enjoyable as the first two…to those who already find them enjoyable at least.

There was nothing shameful about about it. Celebrities are people with lives and sometimes they simply don’t have time to sign autographs. Especially in a situation as chaotic as that. Sure it’s disappointing to fhe fans but sometimes celebities have to say no.
I find it interesting that you choose to ignore the fact that just the day before Vanessa was bombarded with autograph seekers right off the plane. There is a video of Vanessa signing autographs and taking pictures with fans on the set of “Will” you hear a security guard say “No pictures just autographs,” and she continued to take a few more pictures. There is a story of when they were filming the bandslam sequence of a fan asking if she could give a Vanessa hug the security guard said no, and Vanessa ran back and gave the girl a hug. There is another story from an extra that Vanessa personally accepted a fan letter from another extra on the set of “Will.” There is also video of her playing with a young kid in-between takes while she was shooting “Will” in New York.
There was a wonderful story posted on another site posted by a fan that met Vanessa while she rehearsing to perform in front of the President in Washington D.C. at Christmas and the girl took a picture with her.
So you see we weigh all those stories against what happened Saturday *Which wasn’t what you haters and TMZ try to make out to be* and we defend her. Don’t tell she’s selfish and ungrateful.

FYI, HSM 1 has won more awards plus two Emmy Awards, whereas, HSM 2 did not win any Emmy Awards. HSM 1 has more scripts with Vanessa and Zac in the movie, whereas, HSM 2 has more Sharpay and Zac. I think that sums up that Vanessa is very talented because of those two Emmy Awards for HSM 1, which the Emmy is one of the top recognizable and well known awards for TV shows, like Oscar for the big screen movies and the Grammy for the musics. Plus Vanessa has done two big screen movies, Thirteen and Thunderbird, before HSM. The other HSM casts only have done TV series and shows before HSM 1.
This is for the people that think negative regarding Vanessa. The above comments are in support of Vanessa.
Let’s be honest, all 10 original HSM casts are all very talented, beautiful, and nice group of celebrities. As fans, let us give them the positive support and kindness that they deserve and work hard for.

It’s a fact that she has put on a little weight whilst filming Will but that can be expected, being holed up on the set. She still looks good though. song list of HSM3: i’ve found 2 lists. the first one is the list that somebody had put on here, but there is another list, with more songs to zac and vanessa and a vanessa solo. in this another list, doesn’t appear any song singed by coach bolton and mrs darbus…

In the looks department, Vanessa has a LOT going for her. Not only does she have an incredibly beautiful face, she is curvy and well proportioned. And from interviews I’ve seen, she also has a very sweet personality, too.
No, there was no recent picture of Zac in NY.
People had an OLD picture that was taken in LA and said that someone spotted Zac working out in a gym. That was about four days ago, and there have been NO pictures of him in NY.

Karen, I so agree with you, Vanessa looks like a siren in these pictures, so stunning! Ashley and Lucas look great as well. I’m so glad to see them all together again having loads of fun.
I’m actually a greater fan of their rehearsals and behind the scenes vids than the actual movie as you get to see all the fun they have making these movies. I guess this time would be a bitter sweet time for them as they know this is their last hsm movie.
I hope they really have a blast together making this movie and that they hold on to their friendships long after the movie is made like the matrix cast.

I know what you mean about watching clips of all the “behind-the-scenes” going ons. I love watching all of them being themselves, laughing, teasing, being candid, etc. That is just as enjoyable to me as the movies. Loved the extra DVD that came withe the soundtrack of HSM2. I loved hearing them talk about the songs they were recording and then showing them in the recording studio, etc. Then once the DVD came out I enjoyed watching the extras and seeing more of their dance rehearsals, etc. Those kids work darn hard and have to be talented to remember all that stuff in just 3 weeks. Like the clips in both things I mention where it is showing Zac practicing all those basketball moves. You can see how hard he is working by his red face, etc. But then it shows the guys doing all those moves with the basketball so perfectly—-what an accomplishment, and they weren’t able to work on that one sequence for 3 whole weeks. They are all dedicated and determined. Just think how much pressure is on them to make an even better movie this time with dances and songs that won’t disappoint. Neither song list that we have seen is probably right. The one has song names that sound kind of stupid if you ask me—except for the song Troy and Gabriella is suppose to sing and maybe the one with the coach and Ms Darbus.

Yay Karen, I thought I was the only one who really loved the behind the scenes vids. I agree, they work so hard for every dance routine we see.
I actually think the song lists we’ve been seeing are fake but I’ll hold my peace till the movie comes out.
yeah, they’re under so much pressure to make this movie better than the last two. Chucky said (in the little blurb where he said Vanessa is the quickest to pick up the dance moves) they’re going back to the simple routines of Hsm 1 which to me is a good thing as I think while HSM 2 was more complex than HSM 1, it lost quite a bit of the simple charm and chemistry of the first one which made us all fall in love with it. Part of it was centering the story in the country club rather than the school so we missed the Mrs Darbus and Coach Bolton rivalry. However, this time, they’re back to East High, here’s to hoping they restore that charm in this story.
the girls look fine, but i’d rather look like vanessa anyday and have curves than being stick thin like ashley. she has twigs for legs.

Corbin was suppose to be the host at a benefit in LA last night(Friday) so that is why he is not in these pictures. He would have had to be off to LA by the time these pictures were taken most likely. But it has already been reported that he already has been in Utah before now.

Whenever we see regular picture’s of Zac and Vanessa together the ‘ break up’ rumours always start and this time they seem to have been more constant becuase Zac has’nt been wering his ring for a while.
But if people took the time to check properly then theyd’ know why theyve not ben photograped together, they’ve both been doing films in different countries so it’s hard to be photograped together when your not even in the same country. And as for Zac’s ring he’s not wor it since he had recent surgery, then he’s done two film’s back to back so again it’s logic it will be missing.
Vanessa was seen without her ring on in Texas for a few day’s, but now it’s back on her finger but again like with Zac she was filming so that was proberly and the most logic reason why she did’nt have it on
but at the end of the day it’s a piece of jewellery that can be taken of when the person wearing it feel’s like taking it off without it meaning that there is anything wrong with the relactioship there in.
I’m sure that Zac wil be in Utah soon, after all with filming things do tend to run over sometime’s so maybe that’s what’s happened with MAOW but I’m sure that it will all come good in the end. It’s nice to know that the gang is coming together for one last film in the HSM francaise that they all started and has made such a big change for them in their live’s.

I’m not sure there are words to describe you…But let me ask you this, IF Ashley would have something printed about her—and it was proven true—that you found less than “respectable” in your opinion, would you then come on here and say that you made a mistake and that Ashley was no good and that she didn’t deserve anyone’s respect or forgiveness? There’snot been any picture’s of them together recently becuase of their work schedules but I’m sure that will all change once Zac arrive’s in Utah.
But have to admit at the same time I hope that Zac and Vanessa get some alone time to catch up and just be a normal couple for a while out of the public eye theydeserve it like any othe couple that have been apart some alone time would be good.

I’ve just looked at the video’s and as the pap’s even said she seemed rely mad at someone, maybe it was Jared after all like any other couple I daresay they have their up’s and down’s, or it could have been her manager, we’ll never know.

Your being very immature. Not just you but everyoe who is on this board slagging someone off whether its Vanessa, Ashley, Corbin or whoever. I dont think Vanessa is that talented (but Ive got to admit she’s extremly pretty), but I dont go round bringing up the past and slagging her off. That is a horrible thing to say about someone and to wish they would get run over is just nasty.
I hope that Corbin and Zac turn up soon it seems fuuny to me that there have been no picture’s of either of them for a while but yet they still have’nt shown up in Utah yet and the cast is obvioulsy starting to do something with HSM, but if they are going back to how it was in HSm1 then they did’ntdo much dancing, and maybe they are going to film the new people early in it too.
I would have thought that if Zac has’nt finished MAOW that he can’t have much longer to go, and also what would be great is that if he had finished and it was him at the airport with the girl’s and he and Vanessa have managed to cach up out of the public eye before the press start invading thecast to much, now that would be one to get over the press.
All these siightings of Zac but yet no picture’s anywhere to prove excatly where he is is very curious to me,as they had no problem finding him when he was in London before. But as I have said I’m sure that he will appear when everybody least expects him too.
