Hi Zanessa fans!

#543 vahnumba1fan, I understand what you are saying about Zac, Van, and Ashley. However, I disagree with you. They are here to entertaine us because that is the career path they chose to do and they have done that so far. They have been thankful for their fans, but sometimes they do need breaks for some rest just like we do from our friends when we are with them all the time, and these are people we know. But to say the paps or anyone has a right to interfered in a very personal and private life of someone is wrong. If we had something that had happened to us and we went to work, church, school, etc. how would we feel to have everything we did that was personal and very private to us be spread everywhere. It is all uncalled for. They are human with the some feelings that we have. So, lets give them the respect of that privacy they should have.

Nice to see everyone fairly discussing a really tough subject here- the invasion of celebrity privacy. I agree with what all of you are saying, Tealeaf , wendy, and vahnumba1fan. When you choose a career, there may be expectations that go along with it. As a school nurse, and an employee of the schools, I feel I need to be a model in behaviour. I never even go out to local restaurants and have a beer, for fear my students would see me drinking. It just doesn’t look good!!

Actors do understand the media is a big part of what drives their popularity, so they have to grin and bear certain intrusions. However, I do agree no one has the right to stalk them day and night. Acting is their JOB, and they have a right to do it, make their public appearances, but be able to go home at night in peace and quiet, like the rest of us do after work. The paparazzi are crossing the line and need to be stopped legally. Unfortunately, I don’t know how laws would be enforced, unless all the actors take a stand somehow. But I do hope something is done. My heart goes out to them. Just because they make a good living, doesn’t mean they have no right to their private lives. BIll Gates and Donald Trump make good money, and you don’t see pics of them at the grocery store or at the gym. Only at public appearances. And THAT’s how it should be with actors!!!!

Even though I have several complaints with the paps my BIGGEST is when they get right up in these actors’ faces—a very good example is Britney Spears over the past few months. And I’m not getting into whether or not she asked for it but just common decency should tell these guys some of their stunts are stepping over the line. When someone can’t move their car without running over someone’s foot then there can be no question that is total invasion of privacy and STUPIDITY. I mean, what was it for??? What more did they think they were going to see by jumping on her car. They already had hundreds of pictures of her for that very MINUTE getting yet another coffee or Taco Bell! That’s ridiculous. Those people deserve to have their foot run over. It was like right after Christmas when Vanessa and Ashley were trying to go through the drive-thru at McDonald’s and these intrusive people were sticking their cameras right upon the glass of Ashley’s vehicle and looking into it. NOBODY had the right to do that to ANYBODY. Also, the way Vanessa and Ally were treated a couple of weeks ago was appalling—the girls couldn’t even walk. Then that one guy had the audacity to think he could try to get on the elevator with the two of them. It is behavior like that which particularly needs to be stopped. Even the celebrities cut these people some slack saying they know they have a job to do and many do live with this stuff but there should be a law that these paps should have to be away from these people by a certain distance as to not intrude on their daily lives and and certainly not their movements. Everybody is entitled to a certain “space” around them.

I agree with a lot of what’s been said.

The pap’s ar at time’s way to intrusive with them and other star’s, fair enough they know it’s part of the job but that does’nt mean that they have to always be smiling and talkative to the press if they don’t feel like it. And above all they are human beings who okay are in high profile jobs but that does’nt mean that they should have to put up with how the pap’s invade their privacy at time’s.

I think how the pap’s were with Vanessa and Ally recently was absouletly outreagous those girls could’nt even walk properly becuase of how many of the pap’s were in their face’s, even crossing the road they had trouble, and that’s just wrong. And what bugsme is when the press say that Vanessa deliberatly ignored those kids perhaps if they had’nt been so croweded then she would have stopped but to be fair to Vanessa and Ally if they had of stopped the situation could have got even worse due to the size of the crowd that had gathered.

What these psp’s should have done with Ashley is turn the cameras off once they had got a photo and not tried to figure out who she was rowing with that was her buisness and nobody else’s and putting it up on youtube was way out of line.

When they are promoting things, giving interviews that’s part of the job yes and they know they are going to be interviewd and asked questions and have their photo’s done that’s okay becuase it’s their work, but once that part of the job is done then they should be left alone to go about their daily routine’s with the pap’s everywhere.

I do hope that Zac is in Utah and has got one passed the pap’s without being noticed and also to the other members of HSM that they say are their but we have’nt seen a pictures good for them they deserve to go to work in peace and not get harrased or constantly be photograpd while doing it.

Maybe Disney have stepped in too and give them more security after all it would’nt hurt them after all it was Zac, Vanessa, Ashley, Chris, Corbin and the other member’s who took a chance and accepted the role’s and helped to make disney a packet of money from the film, so I think that they should keep the press away for a while. As this time we’re not getting half as much pictures and info as we did with the previous hsm films.

And I know that the cast have’nt done to bad out of it either but that’s their job like any other actors they obvioulsy take into account what their wage will be that does’nt mean that they have to always like having their time and sapce invaded.

To me the bottom line is yes they are in the public eye, but they are human beings and deserve to go about their lives without having private and personal things splashed about the world. I don’t honestly blame Zac or Vanessafor not talking to the press half the time and just giving a peace sign, and good for them that they don’t talk about their relactionship it’s their buisness.

Maybe it was Jared on the phone and maybe they have hit a sticky patch in their relactionship it’s part of being in a relactionship, things don’t always go smooth and rows do happen but again it’s their buisness.

I just hope that they all get to have a great time filming HSM and being with friends and loved one’s with cameras everywhere.

My guess is that Vanessa and Ashley will be at the live portion of the American Idol Gives Back unless they somehow flew under the radar to avoid the paps at LAX. It would make sense that she would fly in to do the show then stay on until the 11th to go on Radio Disney to promote her single.

One other thing I would like to complain about and comment on about the paps. When the paps were doing those pictures of Ashley and Vanessa during the Christmas season at McDonald’s those girls were not trying to draw attention to themselves—they were in a car, going through a drive-thru and the paps were making it impossible for them to order. THey had already followed them while they were shopping which was totally insane to me. McDonald’s and the mall should kick these people OUT! And in my opinion the paps are not the “press”. The press would be people who have asked for the right to interview these people like the Today Show, Good Morning America, or Details Magazine, etc. NOT people sticking camera lenses in your car window and trying to get on an elevator with you just to sometimes throw insulting questions at you in hopes of getting a rise out of you and then snapping a picture.
