High School Musical 3 — FIRST PICTURES!!

BFFs Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale (with puppy Maui) are seen leaving a rigorous four-hour dance rehearsal at a top secret location in Utah on Thursday.

Of course, this was in preparation for their upcoming feature film, High School Musical 3: Senior Year, which also costars Lucas Grabeel (below).

Also spotted on set, but not pictured below: Monique Coleman, Olesya Rulin, Chris Warren Jr and director/choreographer Kenny Ortega.

Seems like the gang is all back together–but where’s Zac Efron and Corbin Bleu?? Stay tuned for new pics from the set of HSM3, which has a tentative release date of Friday, Oct. 24.

i love both ashley and vanessa, but in these pics, ashley looks ok but vanessa looks stunning! and i agree with what somebody said above, how can those three look so good, so normal and not all sweaty after a rigorous 4 hour dance practice. they must be good!

im so glad we got to see them. so does this mean the mystery man at the airport was not zac? then who was it? ahhhh im just glad we get to see hsm3 pics and more to come soooooooonnn. im so excited, i thought the last V/A post was the last we were going to see of them for a while. i saw ashleys shirt when i was shopping, lol, thats pretty funny. and i love how there are close up shots of lucas & ashleys legs. hahaha. thought that was pretty funny.

I love these guys but Vanessa looks kinda weird in her photo. Still love these guys and I hope to see Zac and Corbin in photos from the movie soon. Love them all.

Frankly, it would seem that Zac could be anywhere—even Utah—just because of the same reason that so many think he isn’t in Utah—-we have NO pictures of him anywhere! We don’t have a picture of Monique or Olyesya or Chris but we know they are there. And as someone brought up, where are the new people? The two guys are suppose to be basketball players so who knows, maybe they had to do some extra stuff before leaving the studio. (I am always amazed by what those guys learn to do with a basketball while doing dance steps and singing a song.)

Thanks, Madison, for the info on Corbin. For me, information like that tells me where he is even without a picture—since pictures can be deceiving by having the wrong date posted, etc. But Corbin is a dancer and catches on so fast it is not hard to believe he will have no problems. However, it was reported last week that he was already in Utah. So, maybe he has been there and left to go to LA for this benefit tonight.

Vanessa looks absolutely dark and stunning. How could anyone find fault? Let’s see, earrings—check, locket—check, ring—check! LOL

vanessa looks so pretti, so does ashley though . I love their outfits but i wonder where zac is. I cant wait 4 hsm3 and zacs 2 movies and v’s new album and her movie will. When will their b zanessa sightings there hasnt been any pics of zanessa 4 ages.
