She does look bloated! I hope she donated every cent from the $6 Million to charity, but she doesn’t seem that type. So high maintenance….it’s rediculous.

Clearly celebrities are getting paid to much for baby pics. Maybe its just me, but I really could care less about what a celebrity baby looks like. I don’t even by those magazines. I look at them in the store and I’m on my merry way. Some people are weird like that though…

I didn’t even read all the other posts. Wow…someone is a huge fan of Jolie and Pitt. Seriously, no one asked you to right a book up there

If getting paid for the “first” baby pictures is a way to prevent pap stalking and gain some control over the situation then I’m all for it. Please have the decency not to personally profit from the pics, though. Giving to charity is the only way to go.

as you know on previous thread, they already spent that they have spent nearly $700,000 on the baby items. At least the Jolie-Pitts didn’t spent the money they got on their kids . . . that is the difference!

#17 i agree but does ANYONE really care what any of these celebrity babies look like. I wouldn’t cross the street to see what one of them looks like. Babies pretty much look the same to me. I don’t give a crap if mommy and daddy are famous. I guess you could say I have a life!!!

I do think there is an element of absurdity to paying people millions of dollars for a picture of newborns…who often look alike at that phase. I understand it because paparazzi will hound to be the 1st ones to get the picture making normal life difficult. I do agree with donating that money to charity, especially to the millions of children who are suffering in the world. J-Lo does not need another $3 million to live more excessively.

I must say it is interesting how there are some celebrities/actors who don’t seem to have the same problem with the paparazzi. People like Tom Hanks, Denzel Washington, and Meryl Streep are all amazing actors who live normal lives. I think the paparazzi stalked stars are ones who like that level of attention to some degree. There are some who will just attract it naturally because of who they are…like Pitt and Jolie, but secretly I think the others like the ego boost it gives them to feel like they are so important that they are stalked.

And another thing….what makes them think that the world is waiting with bated breath just to catch a glimpse of their precious bundles of joy? Their babies are adorable but so are all babies.

Like many of you, I understand the immense attraction of the Jolie-Pitt following and that of a very few other celebrities ( I won’t mention any names for fear of starting WWIII) but I just don’t get JLo and hubby’s attraction. It seems self-initiated, self-imposed, and forced on us. Other celebrities have babies, pictures are shown, we all ooh and aah and life goes on (as it should). JLo seems to think she gave birth to royalty and People magazine is feeding into her delusions of grandeur by paying such a high fee and then letting her dictate what they can and can not call her and say! Outrageous.

IMO because the Jolie-Pitts donate it, they are the much better celebs to respect and admire. But JLO and Mark, yikes, these two need to get over themselves.

I say good for them! If the public is so bloody obsessed with every detail of their lives and invade their privacy then they ought to be making something out of it! Besides… Brad and Angie would put the extra cash in good use.
