Before everyone gets going about how Zac LOOKS, please read what Jared has written. It is a pic from the set of 17 Again! SOOO once again all we have is a picture of Zac that is old and not current. It was taken while he was filming the move 17 Again. And it looks like maybe it was taken during the time he was wearing the wig everyone hated—-and thought was his real hair.

So, we still are left without a “real” picture of him either in London or Salt Lake City.

I don’t think any of us should dwell on the subject of Zac and Vanessa’s sex life—which I’m sure they have—but that is a private thing between Zac and Vanessa just like mine is or your parents’ is. As Zac has said, those things should be between two people and it is scared ground. abcdefg…MAOW is an independant film and I’m not in the biz, but I believe they calculate when to release movies based on several factors.. I mean Enchanted was filmed 1 year ago and is now out in theatres.
I’m sure 17 again and HSM3 are being released sooner because of the time of year and popularity re: the actors in them…
That’s my guess…and only a guess…
MAOW may not even be in many theaters since it is an independant film as well…

“Will” (Vanessa’s movie) has also been shot first and it’s being released after HSM3. It’s probably several various factors that I’m not in the know enough as to entertainment business and the handlings of movie projects about how a studio releases a film. Perhaps Disney has clout versus MAOW which is an independent film, and that has something to do with why Disney can push their film out first?

My point with the Enchanted example, was that is was filmed a year before it was released.
An independant film is one that has a smaller budget, not necessarily all Hollywood like and is released on a smaller scale, unless it is flooded with awards.
The movie execs have their reasons for releasing films when they do..they do not always get released as soon as their done. It could be editing, production probs…who knows..

An independent movie does not have big budgets or a big studio like Disney or Paramount backing the movie being made. They get their funding elsewhere and don’t have as much money for it so that is why the movie doesn’t usually take as long to film as a big production like Star Wars or movies like that. The actors get less money but usually they take those movies because the script is good and the characters are interesting. Movies like Juno is an independent movie which hit big at the box office and many of the independent do. These movies often make the rounds at film festival in hopes that some distributor will buy it and supply the money to put it out on the big screen and promote it. But because of all of this we often see the little independent movies only in selected theaters in big cities and sometimes they end up going directly to DVD. However, Zac Efron is a big name right now. If 17 Again does well and HSM3, his name will still be hot so this movie will probably be in theaters—-even if limited.

Zac has done a good job here of portraying his character in 17. Like his curly locks( just kidding) Sure hope to see him, corbin and monique soon with the rest of the cast. Anyway, Vanessa can be his tutor to catch up with his dance moves, no problem for her. Guess, we are expecting fireworks chemistry when the two meet up. Oh Wow! The sighting of Zac in NYC was most likely bogus and the reasons have been discussed on the board but I would think he is back in the states somewhere now as the filming for MAOW was to be done by March 31 anyway.

I was thinking about what Chucky Klapow said about them going back to the original HSM1 format for HSM3. If that is the case there may not be so much dancing to learn for the cast as there was with HSM2. It may be a lot easier for them since We’re All in This Together, Ryan and Sharpay’s audition song and dance, and Get Your Head in the Game were the biggest musical numbers in HSM1. They didn’t have big productions like What Time is It and I Don’t Dance so it may no take as much rehearsal for them in HSM3. So, maybe if Zac isn’t there yet, he won’t be missing so much.

If Zac were filming in NY, there would be pictures of him. The paps can find every filming-on-location sight in the city.

It’s a bit presumptuous for us fans to think paparazzi would DEFINETLY find Zac if he were in NY. I realize he’s highly in demand and all, but even he can go under the radar… it’s not impossible.

Look at the past month! Save for a few fan photos and one press conference he has been wrapped up in filming. This summer we will get so much Zac we won’t even know what to do! wooooooohooooooo!

I can understand our not getting Zac pictures from London, because the paparazzi over there don’t really know who he is. Yes, the Isle of Man is very small and they found him there. My friend in London tells me that the paparazzi only hang out at clubs and hot spots, not hotels.

And it seems to me that anyone filming in New York gets their pictures snapped by the paparazzi. A few recent ones we’ve seen: Chace Crawford, Kate Hudson, Anne Hathaway, Vanessa Hudgens, Blake Lively, Michelle Trachtenberg. Probably more I’m not aware of.

Zac is doing really well it would seem at avoiding the pap’s at the moment, after all these ’sightings’ but still no actual pictures of him.

I was wondering the other day that if he’s not in Utah then maybe he’s gone to see his parent’s for a few days before he head’s off to Utah as obviouly with him living in L.A. he does’nt get to see them so much and he has said before that if he get’s a few day’s off in a row that’s wherehe goes.

I hope thatthey have tightened security for them this time as much as I love watching the behind the scene’s and the road to high school musical clip’s it’s gotta be a drag at time’s to always ben followed by camera’s.

As you say Karen Zac has gotten very good at being invisable when he want’s to and who can blame him or any of them, he’s done two movie’s back to back so maybe he just want’s a bit of time out of the public eye, after all he is human and everybody like’s time to themselves sometime’s, I’m sure that if not already in Utah he will be soon.

And Kenny does seem o feel for them and the lack of privacy they now have so maybe he has got something to do with us not seeing much of what’s goingon, or even Disney but I thought that this 3rd film was nothing to do with Disney even though the first two were.

I’m sure when the film get’s released on DVD we will have some great extra’s on it like we did with HSM2, seeings this is the last one with the original cast in it as well.

I just hope that there all having a great time being together again.

Ok, since we are all bored with waiting for Mr Efron to pop up and reveal himself I’ve been doing some a little investigative work. I will start off by saying I still maintain that said Mr Efron is in Utah and that he left with Vanessa and Ashley and was in fact the mysterious hooded figure. Why you ask? Because I have nothing better to do than make up conspiracy plots…

No really, this is what I have been going over the past couple hours: I have watched the video over and over again from the airport. Many have said the hooded figure just seemed to appear and that really bothered me so I watched it just to see if I could pin-point when and where the hooded figure came from and here’s what I think I found. Around 6:10 Vanessa and Ashley enter the airport. There is a sudden flurry of activity where the paps are trying to get close and snap pictures of our girls. The girls then enter a “congested” area—-meaning they come upon that tight little group of people where there is a man who appears to be picking up a fairly large child(perhaps a disabled child), several other people are packed in the same area, there is some kind of a folded type barrier that’s not very high but still kind of blocks the view and adds to the confusion for a few seconds. You can see the paps moving quickly trying not to loose focus of the girls which only adds to the confusion and the density of that little group of people. When you first watch the video all you think you see as the girls get to this tight little group is then grabbing each other’s hands as it seems they are getting separated from each other. Then you think you see them “clearing” the little group from the left of them. Then you suddenly see the hooded figure that seems to appear from nowhere.

Well, if you go through that time of the video very slowly and keep stopping and examining all the people you will find the hooded figure emerges from this little group and is suddenly in front of the girls—striding very much like Zac I might add. The point is, as the girls come upon the group there is no hooded person noticable or when they are behind the group of peope there doesn’t seem to be a hooded figure but right before they become clearly visiable again from behind the group you suddenly see this hooded figure as if he came from somewhere within the group of people. There is this barrier looking thing at that point too which could possibly have hidden the person. Plus, the paps were too busy trying to keep focused on the girls to notice anything else. After all the group of people looked rather “normal”—which I kind of wonder about now. Maybe that was staged somehow—-remember, I did say this was my consipiracy theory… So suddenly the girls come back into full view but if you make your mind focus you will notice within all this that this guy is suddenly in front of the girls. He had to have come from somewhere in that little tight group of people. PLUS, if you notice at that same moment the security person—the one who was with Ashley when she came into the airport and went to the front desk—is reaching for this hooded figure who is barely visible at this point . The security person seems to know exactly who he is reaching for and that he has a definite purpose for doing so. He quickly directs the person who never hesitates and walks very quickly out of camera shot—never stopping at the security check point like Vanessa—who never actually went to the front desk like Ashley did to check in—-and Ashley did. This also stalled for time I think in getting the hooded figure to wherever he was whisked to since the paps were still intent on getting shots of Vanessa and Ashley.

NOBODY can tell me that all wasn’t suspicious, beginning with what seemed like a plot from the time Vanessa pulled up in front of her house and Ashley running inside her house before they both got into the limo and drove off. Then there was the two limos at the airport and the first limo was very well protected from the paps getting their cameras around the big guy and the security guy to see inside that car. But somehow if the hooded figure was Zac, he must have been in that tightly knit little group maybe before the girls ever entered the terminal.

Well, that is my novel for the night. Pick away. It helped me pass the time and collect my thoughts. No matter where the sightings of Zac are I believe there are no pictures because you can’t get a picture of someone who is not there. And you can put a date on it and say it was taken anytime anywhere but it doesn’t make it so. At this point there has to be a lot more evidence than someone saying the picture was taken in London last week or someone saying MAOW has another week to film. I think someone is buying some time.

#301–Cindy: I had mentioned to some friends of mine just a couple days ago that I believed there was someone else in that limo that Ashley had gotten in after leaving the terminal. She may have gotten in the wrong car but that is where the big guy was so why shouldn’t she think that was the car to go to? After all, he had been at Vanessa’s house. So, I thought that was rigged so people would notice the car but once Ashley left it—and I thought she even said something about being in the wrong car—everone would ignore that limo and focus on the one the girls were in. And why did they sit in the car anyway? It could possibly been to get Zac into the airport so he could “hide in plain view” with just a little disguise on knowing once the girls entered all attention would be on them from anyone who knew who they were like the paps. The paps clicking pictures would also distract the other people as they would be looking to see who was getting their pictures taken.

I think it was pretty much was a faultless plan—it seemed to work . That guy had to be somebody and who else but Zac. It was all too weird to be of no consequence.

Today (Friday, April 4th) is the 53rd day of filming MAOW.

They must be getting ready to wrap soon! Our boy needs to get his booty to Utah to start HSM3 dance rehearsals. Maybe Disney has sent a special “dance tutor” to work with him during his down time in London?

Zac is SOOOOO busy these days and it is SOOOO rewarding to see his career blossoming like this!

Zoe plays Gretta, which is a very minor role, certainly not a lead. She’s the girl who wants to be a writer and gives Richard a short story she’s written. He then gives the story to Sonja (who has the biggest female part) to give to an editor of the New Yorker. They have about four scenes together, unless they are not following the book. Maybe they were doing a scene together at this particular time, thus the Guardian assumed . . . . .

As of today the crew of MAOW was filming in London at the Royal Masonic School For Girls in Rickmansworth (near Watford).

Yes, I know. No pictures, just word of mouth.

I hve to agree Karen about Zac, as you say he has done back to back movies and after all he is human and so all this travelling and doing movies has got to take it out of him like it would anyone else working non stop, and so for one I don’t blame him if he did’nt want the press in his face, he needs like Vanessa and Ashley time to chill out a bit.

But I can imagine that although working on HSM is hard work they have all said as much, like you say he wil be with friends and the family group that they all said they had become since HSM started so they can all have a laugh and relax a bit even though they are working.

It just seems funy to me that if he is still filming MAOW why it is taking this long taking into account that HSM has started and I would have thought the longer MAOW take’s to finish filming the more behind he will get in HSM and have to catch up on.

I hope that he has managed to out wit the press and managed to go unnoticed through a airport for a change and avoid the usual stupid questions and flashes of lights in his face and be able to spend time with his girl and friends.

If not then we’ll just have to wait and see but it’s very strange this time round that we’ve only had the one photo of 3 of the stars in Utah and no more photo’s or new’s about how things are going, but maybe they like you say Karen are deliberately keeping things low key as to hopefully cut the frenzy down, but a sighting of the other people who are there would be nice and especially a photo of Zac and Corbin would be nice too.

I don’t think that Zac would deliberately avoid his fan’s as when he left L.A. he was quite hapy to talk to people, but at the same time everybody like’s some quiet time and not wanting people in your face all the time so I don’t blame Zac for keping alow profile if that’s what he fel he needs at the moment.

All I can say is wherever Zac is, and whatever he is currently doing, I hope he gets time to just chill out. He has been going non-stop since Dec. Only real break he had was at Christmas ,and when he had surgery. I too , hope he is in Utah with those close to him. I really can’t imagine how a low budget movie can still be filming this long. Then there is the really bizarre x17 video which is really a mystery to me. So many unanswered questions!

I also was hoping he would be able to see Vanessa and Ashley performing at American Idol gives Back. Not sure if they will be in the pre-taping part of the show on Sun. or if they will be in the part that is live on Wed. All of it will be shown on Wed. night starting at 7:30. They are listed as performers , Wasn’t sure at first if they were just attending and making a donation, but they are listed as performers.
I can’t wait. I wonder if Vanessa will sing one of her new songs on her cd or if she and Ashley are singing something together? Anyone have any more info. on this? Thanks.

Part of me also hopes that it was him who got past the pap’s at the airport and is enjoying spending time and catching up with Vanessa and his other hsm co-star’s out of the public eye.

My daughter is lookingforward like me to seeing HSM on the nig screen, but I’m also lookingforward to seeing ‘17 Again’ which look’s really good, I love Matthew Perry from friends he make’s me laugh, so there’s a lot to lookforward to what with both of Zac nd Vanessa’s films and also her cd which sounds like it will be really good.

it was in heat magazine which comes out every week. this picture was sent in by a fan as theres a page dedicated to ppl sending in celeb sightings as you can win £50. it was in this weeks issue so must have been taken/sent in some time last week as if it was before that it would have been in last weeks magazine.

Can we say that MAOW is moving very SLOWLY???

OK, I know I have gone out on a limb here nearly every night and I think I will continue to do it one more night. KC, I ‘m not discrediting your word. I believe you saw this picture in Heat magazine. BUT that picture still could have been taken a month ago by anyone and then sent in this past week by a supposed fan—or it may have been a fan who is just now sending it in. All I’m saying is this is not conclusive. Forgive me if I have become toooooo suspicious but there seems to be some things just not adding up.

Zac was suppose to be filming a movie that was to go for 40 days—how long has it been? It’s an independent film with budget and time constraints—that’s why they films are done quickly. Wouldn’t this be way over budget by now? They just now—last week—put out a notice that they need 70 dancers? It may not take long for people to rush in to apply but it would seem like it would take some time to select people and get them signed or processed or whatever they do when it comes to paper work. We have little news releases that seem to come on a “scheduled” time table—you know, every few days. I don’t recall ever seeing so many little burbs about any other little independent movie.

Then we have people about every other day who come on some site to say Zac is still filming in London and will be for another week or whatever. Still there is nothing really concrete and if you try to get answers you either can’t get the people to answer back or they really don’t know what they have reported firsthand. If these people are not fans or read these fan sites how do they know to come on and report all this? And did they suddenly stop checking the site once they posted?

I don’t want to make this sound like it is a great consipiracy. But I have become suspicious of the “convience” of everything. And I’ve also come to think that things could very eailsy be “controlled” through the media where fans are manipulated into believing whatever the film and publicity people want you to believe. You can blame all my “overthinking” on an out-of-place hooded figure being shuffled quickly past security in LAX and too timely scheduled news reports about a a little independent movie which has had a very long shooting schedule, and too conviently scheduled sighting of a young actor in a foreign country for me to buy all of it. But I will go on record saying, if that boy is not back in the US by next Monday, I don’t think ANYONE for ANY reason will convince me he is in London. There’s just seems to be too much staging going on.

Karen, I still believe he is in Utah. They said they called for dancers and also that filming would begin on the 11th but does Zac have to be there. I think that his part was already filmed. There was a contract signed and I believe that Zac will do all that he can to meet that contract to the best of his ability. He is an actor and they as well as those involved do their best to stay with that. As it was already said this is a low budget film and they don’t want to go over anymore than necesary.
Anyway, I’m still holding on that Zac isn’t in London and he is in Utah. I believe he needed rest before, which I am sure was very little, he started in rehersals for HSM3.
You know when Ashley first went in to the airport with her security or who ever the man was, if you notice he gets on his phone and makes a call then they go back to the car and the things are set in motion. When Ash an Van came back with the tickets the mystery man comes and slides in front of the girls and is hurried on through.

I really hope the rumor about Zac playing the role of gay twins in a movie is just that, a rumor. Info. found on Zac.E. Com. I looked up info. about this possible movie and it doesn’t sound like something his fan base would be interested in, nor does it keep the gay rumors at bay in anyway. I really hope this info is false. I know Zac wants more adult roles and all but this is way too over the top for me. ( Of course, I’m a late 30’s Catholic mother of two teens, who is fairly conservative ).

I don’t think Zac’s reps would want him to play a figure that was heavy into drugs and sex like these guys supposedly were. So I highly doubt anything will come of it.

Well, there was a picture of him last week in Heat magazine. It was Zac, wearing his knit hat and what looked like a down jacket. The picture was taken by a fan and it said he was in Treco in Covent Garden buying a large bottle of diet Coke.

Today, someone in UK says that they say Zac recently in a hotel “talking to a movie producer about a movie.” Now, I don’t know how they know the person is a producer or what they were talking about unless they were standing within a foot of Zac. No, there are no pictures that I know of.

Who knows . . .
