Zac Efron is Gangster
Zac Efron is looking pretty thug in costume on the set of his new movie, 17 Again.
Producer Adam Shankman had this to say about this look: “When he first turns 17, he’s got this old 1989 haircut that is not the cutest Zac you’ve ever seen. But he is quite shirtless in much of the movie, which the female fans are going to be quite happy with because the boy has been working quite hard on it.”

Hi hope your well. Your right this film of Zac’s does seem to be going over considering it’s a independant film they are usually done quite quick, Vanessa’s film has wrapped so I’mvery suprsed that Zac’s has’nt, as surely the longer he take’s to get to Utah the more he’s going to be behind which just does’nt make sense seeings as filmings supposed to start on the 21st or 29th April which is’nt that far away, and seeings as Zac’s charector is a key part in HSM it just seems very strange that he would get so far behind.

OK, I know I have gone out on a limb here nearly every night and I think I will continue to do it one more night. KC, I ‘m not discrediting your word. I believe you saw this picture in Heat magazine. BUT that picture still could have been taken a month ago by anyone and then sent in this past week by a supposed fan—or it may have been a fan who is just now sending it in. All I’m saying is this is not conclusive. Forgive me if I have become toooooo suspicious but there seems to be some things just not adding up.
Zac was suppose to be filming a movie that was to go for 40 days—how long has it been? It’s an independent film with budget and time constraints—that’s why they films are done quickly. Wouldn’t this be way over budget by now? They just now—last week—put out a notice that they need 70 dancers? It may not take long for people to rush in to apply but it would seem like it would take some time to select people and get them signed or processed or whatever they do when it comes to paper work. We have little news releases that seem to come on a “scheduled” time table—you know, every few days. I don’t recall ever seeing so many little burbs about any other little independent movie.
Then we have people about every other day who come on some site to say Zac is still filming in London and will be for another week or whatever. Still there is nothing really concrete and if you try to get answers you either can’t get the people to answer back or they really don’t know what they have reported firsthand. If these people are not fans or read these fan sites how do they know to come on and report all this? And did they suddenly stop checking the site once they posted?
I don’t want to make this sound like it is a great consipiracy. But I have become suspicious of the “convience” of everything. And I’ve also come to think that things could very eailsy be “controlled” through the media where fans are manipulated into believing whatever the film and publicity people want you to believe. You can blame all my “overthinking” on an out-of-place hooded figure being shuffled quickly past security in LAX and too timely scheduled news reports about a a little independent movie which has had a very long shooting schedule, and too conviently scheduled sighting of a young actor in a foreign country for me to buy all of it. But I will go on record saying, if that boy is not back in the US by next Monday, I don’t think ANYONE for ANY reason will convince me he is in London. There’s just seems to be too much staging going on.
Please forgive yet another post by me. I promise this won’t be a sermon. I just want all you people to know I’m not refusing to believe Zac is still in London. I was somewhat provoked to post my last comments over something that was said on the HSM thread. But my point is there are sometimes things I have found that seem official and true but aren’t. I have found I am more observant of what I read no matter who prints it after being involved on this site for many months now and reading so much gossip and rumors. I would like to have people who believe EVERYTHING they read or hear to have gotten at least one thing from all this debate about where Zac is. Always take into account whether or not something could be false and why or how it could be false before beliving it . Then maybe some of the mayhem surrounding celebrites can be avoided in the future. To all a good night and good day.
Karen, I still believe he is in Utah. They said they called for dancers and also that filming would begin on the 11th but does Zac have to be there. I think that his part was already filmed. There was a contract signed and I believe that Zac will do all that he can to meet that contract to the best of his ability. He is an actor and they as well as those involved do their best to stay with that. As it was already said this is a low budget film and they don’t want to go over anymore than necesary.
Anyway, I’m still holding on that Zac isn’t in London and he is in Utah. I believe he needed rest before, which I am sure was very little, he started in rehersals for HSM3.
You know when Ashley first went in to the airport with her security or who ever the man was, if you notice he gets on his phone and makes a call then they go back to the car and the things are set in motion. When Ash an Van came back with the tickets the mystery man comes and slides in front of the girls and is hurried on through.

Sweet lord Karen, I have seen your daily postings and didn’t say anything at 1ST, but please STOP with the mini-essays about why you do/don’t think Zac is in Utah/Kuwait/the UK/ where ever the h*ll you think this young man is! It doesn’t matter?? Is he your son? Friend? Cousin? Second cousin? Why are you so concerned with where the eff he is??? It’s getting to be borderline obnoxious, seriously.
I’m just as anxious to see him too, but all your daily “theories” sound nothing short of truly fanatical and crazy. What’s worse is you come back again and again with “Monday’s crazy rant, Tuesday’s crazy rant, Wednesday’s crazy rant…”
I think it’s time to stop and take a breather. You’ve predicted for awhile now that he must come home or whatever and it’s now just irritating. There are just as many who are intent on posting everything saying Zac is in London for whatever reason. Does that bother you? Don’t be so sure about that! I think Karen has right in many ways. I do not say that her “theory” is true but I also believe that Zac is/or at least was in Utah. And why does it bother you? If you don’t like Karen’s posts just ignore them. That’s so simple. She uses the same nick all the time so you can watch out for it.
I don’t want to say what you should do but it is you who has to stop, I think. Seriously. I assume we are on the same side but have different ideas/theories. It’s cool. But saying “stop” on an open forum and calling someone “crazy” just because you don’t agree is not so cool. So chill.

It’s been high emotions for awhile #359, & Karen is allowed to post and think whatever she wants whether everybody agrees or not. You could have done without calling her crazy… a lot of people, not just her are anxious for him to come home too and maybe speculating where he is helps pass the time?

Your are entitled to your opnion and your theory’s and at least you put them in a pleasent way and don’t go bashing anyone or calling them names which is called being mature which this person obvioulsy is’nt.

I can imagine that a lot of people weather they come on this board or other boards are curious as to where Zac has seemingly dissapeared to as to me MAOW does sem to be taking it’s time and also why would they leave it so late in the films production to now start calling for dancers, I’m not saying that the person who posted it is lying orit’s untrue, it just seems funny to me that they would leave it this late in filming to now start auditioning dancers surely that would put the film further behind and therefore put the actor’s behind who have other jobs to go onto and not just Zac, even if he is’nt dancing that much in HSM3 like in HSM1 there are still rountine’s I would imagine he will need to learn.

karen … i totally agree with you! its fun to talk about the ‘mysteries!’ i just don’t like it when i get the vibe here sometimes where some people think their thoughts are cool but other people’s are just rubbish or ‘not appropriate’ or ‘none of our business’. i mean, as long as the people are not ‘haters’ or just blatantly putting other posters down, then i say let people post away and if someone doesn’t have anything nice to say, then don’t say anything in response!
I for one love reading Karen’s thoughts and ideas, whatever they may be about. Plus, she’s never mean to anyone. Just stating her opinion in a logical way. No curse words or bashing from her.

I appreciate all your lovely comments. I don’t know what to say. Frankly, I thought I’d get bashed. LOL I wasn’t going to comment any more after my last post concerning Zac’s whereabouts and my ideas. That’s what my #357 post was about. But when something feels wrong something takes over in me. It must be some kind of disease. But as many have said they felt like he was in the states at some time—maybe over Easter and maybe he was in NYC to do some work, left the LAX airport went to SLC and flew out of there to NY then back to the UK to finish up or something along those lines. It’s not a big deal and nothing anyone should get mad about. It’s just all so strange.
But I felt that my last comment would make somebody mad for some reason and it did. So, that is why I decided to make it may last so I post my #357 post. But I REALLY didn’t want to make anybody feel like I was trying to force my theories down anyone’s throat. It was more like a bloodhound who picks up a scent and starts going this way and that way until they find what got them on the scent or they finally lose the scent completely. But the bloodhound is “driven” or committed until one of those things happens. I’m like the bloodhound. LOL
I really hope the rumor about Zac playing the role of gay twins in a movie is just that, a rumor. Info. found on Zac.E. Com. I looked up info. about this possible movie and it doesn’t sound like something his fan base would be interested in, nor does it keep the gay rumors at bay in anyway. I really hope this info is false. I know Zac wants more adult roles and all but this is way too over the top for me. ( Of course, I’m a late 30’s Catholic mother of two teens, who is fairly conservative ).
What I meant to say is, that I hope the idea of wanting Zac to play the role of these twins is a rumor. I don’t mean to say that Zac is already considering it. I just can’t fathom the idea of anyone wanting Zac to play this role. Yes, he is a great actor but I personally could not see him in this role. Just my opinion of course.
I don’t think Zac’s reps would want him to play a figure that was heavy into drugs and sex like these guys supposedly were. So I highly doubt anything will come of it.

Karen I enjoy reading your speculations about Zac’s location There’s nothing wrong with them If someone disagrees with them that their opinion and there’s no reason for them to be rude about it. We all would like to know where Zac is (new york, England, or Utah) since no one has any other update with the timeline on HSM3 being what it is he may be in Utah
