abcdefg…MAOW is an independant film and I’m not in the biz, but I believe they calculate when to release movies based on several factors.. I mean Enchanted was filmed 1 year ago and is now out in theatres.
I’m sure 17 again and HSM3 are being released sooner because of the time of year and popularity re: the actors in them…
That’s my guess…and only a guess…
MAOW may not even be in many theaters since it is an independant film as well…

“Will” (Vanessa’s movie) has also been shot first and it’s being released after HSM3. It’s probably several various factors that I’m not in the know enough as to entertainment business and the handlings of movie projects about how a studio releases a film. Perhaps Disney has clout versus MAOW which is an independent film, and that has something to do with why Disney can push their film out first?

My point with the Enchanted example, was that is was filmed a year before it was released.
An independant film is one that has a smaller budget, not necessarily all Hollywood like and is released on a smaller scale, unless it is flooded with awards.
The movie execs have their reasons for releasing films when they do..they do not always get released as soon as their done. It could be editing, production probs…who knows..
