OlderCate Blanchett’s Year of Magical Thinking
Mom-to-be Cate Blanchett stands by her man, director husband Andrew Upton at the premiere of the play The Year of Magical Thinking at the Sydney Theatre Company on Saturday in Sydney, Australia.
The 38-year-old Aussie actress wore a “60 Hours” pin, advocating the remarkable global event, Earth Hour 2008. It’s when towns “turn out” to lend their voice to the worldwide call for action on climate change. On March 29th, people everywhere turned off their lights–to make a statement, to help find new ways to reduce their impact on the environment, and to start a movement that ends with a solution to the common challenge we all face. ugly attitude. Really. You can’t know the sum of a man - or woman - from a photo, good or not. When you are a couple, you are each part of each other. So when you see Cate, you see a part of her husband. And when you see her husband, you are looking at a part of Cate. He is the father of her three children, and, if she is any indication, a loving soul. Now, think that one over.
He looks like he spent the whole day at the pub.
