Orlando Bloom @ Kids’ Choice Awards 2008

You know this is what I have never got, why the fuq did he buy a house, make it eco friendly outside London and he has hardly spent any time in it- I thought that he may have been spending 6 months in the US and 6 months in the UK, but he obviously isn’t, its weird as his house in the UK cost more than his LA house, it is like he is scared to go home for some reason. It is weird as I am sure this is the most time he has spent in LA when not working, makes you wonder if anything has kicked off back in London.

I hope and pray that he gets his life sorted out, he looks weird to me lately, really zoned out and stuff, I’m not daying he is taking drugs or anything, but he is the kind of person you just want to shake some sense into him, I really dont get why he isnt going to the UK AT ALL- and yes where is Sidi? I’m sure we haven’t seen him since Jan, has he also given him away like he did his last dog?

It is odd on that KCA clip as he does seem his old self in it- it is so sad, but I wish he would go home to the UK for a while and get back to his roots for a while, I think he needs to get away from LALA land as it seems to have claimed him.

He needs to get away from LA in general. It just isnt good for him to be exposed the this hollywood mess i remember in a few of his old interveiw saying that hollywood would never curupt his mind and take his focus off acting but it looks like it has. I always thought he would be private and stay away from all the generic wanna be’s scum of hollywood and stay focused and his head straight. I really hope this charaid will end soon and for all, but we will just have to sit and wait.

Before he was offered the role in An Education, I would have believed that he was living in LA because he couldn’t get work in England. That is obviously not the case because he doesn’t have the roles lined up while living in LA either. IMO he’s living in LA for two reasons:
(#1) It’s cheaper than England; he hasn’t really earned that much money through the years to live they way he does (parties, travel, houses, etc.). After you pay all of the PR people, agents, etc., it’s not that much. Plus London is an incredibly expensive place to live.
(#2) He’s closer to directors and producers, the Hollywood press, and, it’s quite possible that he’s closer to Miranda. IMO he doesn’ t get much respect (why should he) in England for his acting abilities. I’ve heard him called Orlando Three-Whiskers or something equally silly from the British press.

Re: the dog situation - IMO he uses the dog for PR stuff. It makes him more of an “every man” type person. He’s just like the guy next door with his dog. At one point last year, he would make an appearance with his dog for the paps about once a week. It seemed strange to me at the time that a photog would wait around for a whole week at a dog park to catch Orlando. Most of those shots were on Wednesdays like a pre-set date at the dog park. Use your own imagination. BTW no other celebs were spotted at that dog park AT ALL. The only other dog park shots we got were the obviously fake Mischa Barton set after her DUI arrest.

I have wondered too if he has had a falling out with his mom and sister. You never see them with him. The only time they were even seen together was when his cousin had that gallery thing. His dad was in LA after the holidays but no mention of mom or sisiter. I wonder if he doesn’t stay away because he doesn’t want to hear then telling him to get his act together The people in LA are people he is paying, it is to their benefit to tell him he is fine, and that there are all kinds of great offers coming in. I agree he has slipped into a horrible group of people. Ashton, Demi, etc. are all so d list. He really was on top for a while and it is like he just gave it away. But you know his pr people and management people are still telling him he is a list everyone wants him he is hot and in demand. When will he stop believing the lie.

hat ever hppened to Kerrs dlist gig for VH1, I wonder how that went, I cant wait to see the show, it’s funny she takes all the left over work instead of all the goodwork that te vs models do she is just desprite as anything, she wil take whatver is thrown at her like a eger rat of something its silly. Nothing positive is going her way career wise, the only thing she hs been doing is the sracps of whats left wch is just cheap dlist work. And she isnt respect as a model at all, most poeple still dont know wh she is. I remember when the first pics of her and Orlando everyone thought that she was Micha Barton.

I was going to guess that as well. I think the story of them right after the oscars almost seemed like he was distancing himself from mk with the ‘he was casually linked’ remark so maybe the dm was hip to it then and aren’t falling for it now. I had wondered why they threw that line in there before.He and Jen are good freinds and share the same managment and pr reps so they could easily both have a laugh over it.

RE: why he’s living in LA after he said he would never go that route. People change according to their own experiences. We have no knowledge of how he has behaved on movie sets, etc. Directors, actors, other movie insiders may say that he is so nice, etc. They certainly wouldn’t tell the truth bad about another actor if it were something because it would look incredibly bad for them to bad-mouth another person. Orlando’s acting ability does leave something to be desired and that’s after all of the editing, multiple takes and so on.

IMO Orlando’s career started to go downhill last year at about this time. Right before the release of POTC AWE he had nothing else lined up and there were rumors that he and Keira would not be back for a POTC4 if one were made. I remember seeing Orlando and Johnny on the red carpet in LA for the premiere. It was on E! live. Orlando did not look like a happy camper. He looked like he wanted to disappear when he was being interviewed. Johnny on the other was incredibly happy and it showed.

Then it came out that he would do a play in London. I think that was to try to regain some credibility for his career. I don’t think that worked as well as planned. He was ultimately compared to Dan Radcliffe and Dan won that battle.

This whole “taking time off” notion is a PR creation. I think he has either been offered very small roles, no roles, roles in movies that are incredibly bad, etc. Between making the POTC movies, he should have been making smaller more artsy movies to give audiences and directors/producers more looks at his abilities.

He probably should terminate all of his current agents and PR staff. They have misguided his career for several years and it may not be able to be put back on the track. Doing the PR stuff is very bad for a serious actor. If he wants to have longevity, he should offer himself up for good projects for little/no money. There are a lot of small movies that end up doing well critically.

They do it out of their “kindness” of their hearts, what is sad is these people are the ones who stand outside after his play and wait to get his name on an SGI leaflet- LMFBAO oh how obvious hoping he would say ” You are SGI too? Oh I love you, we are a match made in heaven, lets go back to mine” HA! More like obvious to him that they are only SGI cos they know he is AND THESE ARE GROWN MATURE WOMEN!.. and they call US sad! OMG!!
