Jesse Swenson Joins Gossip Girl
Taylor Momsen, aka Jenny Humphrey, and new cast member Jesse Swenson shoot scenes for their hit TV show Gossip Girl in New York City on Monday morning.
Gossip Girl returns with all new episodes on April 21, when one of the male characters on the show will be revealed as gay. I don’t think it’s the new guy, btw.
Swenson was a theatre major at Boston Conservatory. He’s currently an understudy for the Broadway musical Spring Awakening as the character Melchior Gabor (Jonathan Groff originated the role since its Broadway debut in Dec. 2006).

If Chuck, Dan, or Nate were gay…this show would be history.
1) It would be cancelled. The largest demographic of this show are females who were attracted to show because of all the HETEROSEXUAL relationships shown in the promo.
2) Neither, Nate, Dan, or CHuck has have shown any inkling of being gay in the SHOW (creators already said they are NOT following the books)
3) Chuck/Blair and Serena/Dan have the largest fanbase for Gossip Girl. CW trying to increase its ratings NOT decrease them. Just look at the ratings, the episode after Chuck/Blair got together HAD THE LARGEST RATING INCREASE for Gossiip Girl…proof that fans love this couple. Nate isn’t gay because he is the one that all girls swoon over (personally, Chuck my favourite… but Nate the MOST gorgeous)…it would just be weird to make him gay
4) Gossip Girl is interesting because of all these options for couples. By making one of hte main cast gay…it decreases the different relationships that could occur.
Don’t get me wrong, I have NOTHING against homosexuals, I just don’t want any of the main cast to be gay because that is what drew me into the show…Personally, like most of 90% fans of Gossip Girl, I watch Gossip Girl for Chuck and Blair…both apart and TOGETHER!!

it would just explain everything.in the pilot they made him and jenny have a moment that they never put further,and now she has this new love interest.its also been said that it would break up a couple=lily and bart.they deffinitly arnt going to get married.and that it affects both sides of the east river=dan becuase it affects serena or jenny because hes her friend?

It is actually the new guy leo!! if you read the books jenny gets a boyfriend (leo) and he asks really strange because he turns out to be gay!
none of the male characters are gay in the book apart from dan but that was just a confusing thing and he went back to liking girls.
so it has to be the new guy leo, unless they don’t stick to what the book says then it will be a real shame
