Brad Pitt Finds ‘Lost City’
Paramount has bought the rights to a new manuscript entitled ‘Lost City of Z’ and Brad Pitt is set to produce and reportedly star in the film.
The Lost City of Z is based on the real-life search for a lost city in the Amazon and Brad is set to produce the film through his production company Plan B. The non-fiction book is about British explorer Col. Percy Harrison Fawcett, who was attempting to find the so-called City of Z when he and his party disappeared in 1925.
The book, based on David Grann’s September 2005 article in the New Yorker, will be published next February.

If he makes 32-35 mm per movie and she 20 mm -that’s b/c we
still live in the men’s world - certainly not b/c he deserves it for being better or more popular. This is also the reason why it it was easier to blame her for his divorce - let’s not go there anymore - but it’s so sad.
Many blame BP for that - I hope he knew why he acted as he did.
It’s great that she’s got 10 mm for only 2 days of work - it gives you hope. She shouldn’t quit - not only b/c she’s a rare talent but also b/c she’s been giving her money away for over 7 years now - IT’S A LONG TIME FOR A YOUNG PERSON LIKE HER.
She certainly can afford to have all the kids they want and him at home.

I must have missed the edict that if you like Brad and Angie you have to like Porgie.
Get a grip. Some of us can’t stand Porgie and it predates his coattail riding of Brad. I haven’t been able to stand the man since the early ’90s when he was on Roseanne’s show and he totally freaking ruined ER for me. I’m just thankful that I never watched Facts Of Life or else I’d have started hating his ass 3 years earlier than I did!

I love how they don’t have the guts to tell the truth about Larson - although I do find it funny that they point out Porgie’s old enough to be her daddy…and he is…he’s her Sugar Daddy! A “promotional model”? A “promotional model” who works without underwear and shows her bald cooch for the cameras to photograph, dry humps stangers in night clubs where she knows pictures are being taken…is called a ho. Very interesting in Sunday school class this morning the question was asked about how the tabloids are similar to what happened to ” Paul” when he was put in chains, one member said that the tabloids tend to always try to bring someone down when they do good things and they tend to focus on the negative. Immediately I thought of Angie, (not saying that she is a Paul), but regardless of the all the good she does the tabs focus on her past and look for negative things to print even if lies.
Funny, a girl from here was visiting at church (in my son’s graduating class) now lives in Bastrop. Has not seen the J-P family though.

It has been said by some critics and HW types that Brad has very limited range and depth in his acting skills. I disagree. I have not seen all of Brad’s movies, but I have seen enough to know that he is a very versatile actor. In Vampire not only looked different than he did Snatch, but he sounded differently. In Snatch he looked and sounded differently then he did in Fight Club, then he did in A River Runs Through, then did LOTF, then he did Babel, Tibet, Seven, 12 Monkeys, MMS, then he did in Troy. All though he was criticized for not having an authenic Greek accent. Who knows how the ancient Greeks spoke. In every movie he has looked different and sounded differently, just as he did in TAOJJ
GC couldn’t do this. He can’t alter his looks for the different roles he plays. He can’t alter his voice. GC always has that deep monotone sort of boring voice. Neither can Tom Hanks, or Tom Cruise change themselves.
IMHO that is one of the beauties of Brad’s acting his ability to hide himself in his character. He is willing to change his appearance to fit the character he is playing. As Cliniqua said, Brad is a character actor in a leading man’s body. And very few in HW want to give him the acting credit he so rightly deserves. GC is a character. Peace

With people talking about everything on these threads, their personal lives, some rather sexy, I think having a conversation about GC is probably okay. I understand this is Brad’s thread, and Brad is still discussed. There are constant updates and articles about Brad and Angie. But for good or bad GC is an associate of Brad’s and IMHO can be included in or on a Brad thread. Anyone not wanting to participate can always skip over those comments.
