Brad Pitt Finds ‘Lost City’
Paramount has bought the rights to a new manuscript entitled ‘Lost City of Z’ and Brad Pitt is set to produce and reportedly star in the film.
The Lost City of Z is based on the real-life search for a lost city in the Amazon and Brad is set to produce the film through his production company Plan B. The non-fiction book is about British explorer Col. Percy Harrison Fawcett, who was attempting to find the so-called City of Z when he and his party disappeared in 1925.
The book, based on David Grann’s September 2005 article in the New Yorker, will be published next February.

The PageSix article about GC illustrates that. The gossip wolves were wating to see how GC latest movie did, and when it did not do as well as expected , their knives are out and ready to pounce on GC. I think GC is about to be in for a fairly rough time.

Sony Pictures’ blackjack thriller “21″ topped the weekend charts with an estimated $15.1 million in ticket sales as the George Clooney-Renee Zellweger football comedy “Leatherheads” from Universal Pictures opened to a soft $13.5 million, apparently edging out 20th Century Fox and Walden Media’s “Nim’s Island” for No. 2.
Nikki Rocco, Universal’s president of domestic distribution, said she was “disappointed with the result” for “Leatherheads,” a $58-million production. Mixed reviews hurt the adult-skewing, PG-13-rated film, she said, as did Saturday’s Final Four telecasts in the college basketball championship tournament. The picture got only a slight bump in business on its second day.

Well that studio boss or whoever she is can count me as one of those people who watched the final four instead of leather heads, and i bet i had a better time watching my team lose than i would have had watching that movie, lol. I just don’t understand george clooney’s appeal. I really don’t see it. I haven’t seen one of his movies. I don’t really have anything against him but he bores me. Just my opinion

I think it was Huvaniston who left that message for George about Sara, they want Clooney free and available (not to date, she knows he likes girls who are pretty) but Huvane would really like to start a fake relationship in the tabloids (ala Jason Lewis) with George - and Sara Larson is just ruining their plans for Maniston and he.
