I must have missed the edict that if you like Brad and Angie you have to like Porgie.

Get a grip. Some of us can’t stand Porgie and it predates his coattail riding of Brad. I haven’t been able to stand the man since the early ’90s when he was on Roseanne’s show and he totally freaking ruined ER for me. I’m just thankful that I never watched Facts Of Life or else I’d have started hating his ass 3 years earlier than I did!

Having a publicist does not stop negative slanted stories.

Case in point-
The PageSix article about GC illustrates that. The gossip wolves were wating to see how GC latest movie did, and when it did not do as well as expected , their knives are out and ready to pounce on GC. I think GC is about to be in for a fairly rough time.

I disagree - having a publicist did help Porgie because Page Six didn’t flat out call Larson a hooker nor did they refer to the seediest of her pictures. You think that’s an accident? They’ve got their kid gloves on with Porgie and always have. Yet Angie did an innocent swimsuit shoot at 16 and OuttaTouch put it on their cover like it was the sex scandal of the decade. Brooke Shields, at 14, posed almost topless in Calvin Klein ads yet they don’t keept throwing that in her face and haven’t for years. But the rags go out of their way to throw untrue accusations at Angie, yet Porgie has paraded one hooker after another around HW for years and yet the tabs and gossip mavens give him a pass and never reveal to the MVM exactly how seedy the man really is. Between his HW ass kissing and his publicist he’s still got a very clean image with most of America and because he’s a man it’ll stay that way.

…that’s George’s girl?…if so, she looks like a keeper…hahahahah…what is wrong with what she’s doing?…I’d knock the sand off…hahah

I had an interesting discussion a few weeks back about George and Brad with some guy friends and their relative appeal. The unanimous consensus was that none of them could see Porgie’s sex appeal to women. All unanimously agreed that Brad was a good looking bloke and they could understand why women liked him.

All this discussions on Porgie’s failure to bring in the big $$ without Brad makes me wonder if its just that - Porgie just doesn’t attract men. When a guy and girl go out on a date night to see a movie, they both have to agree on which movie (at least, that’s usually the case with me and my hubby). If the girl says “oooohhh, I’d like to see the new Porgie movie” and the guy says “naaahhh”, that’s the end of that discussion usually and they have to pick something else.

But when the girl says “oooohhhh, I’d like to see the new Brad movie”, the guys says “OK”, whilst secretly thinking, “we both get a free pass to do him…”

BTW, I think Burn after Reading will do well in the Box Office and DVD, thanks to Brad being there. I thought Brad was a good comic actor in Mr and Mrs Smith. I’m looking forward to BAR.

I would have no problem at all with Porgie dating hoes…if only he’d stop acting like he’s better than everyone else…and like these women aren’t bought and paid for. He wants his cheap women…but he wants to protect his image at the same time.
