Brad Pitt Finds ‘Lost City’
Paramount has bought the rights to a new manuscript entitled ‘Lost City of Z’ and Brad Pitt is set to produce and reportedly star in the film.
The Lost City of Z is based on the real-life search for a lost city in the Amazon and Brad is set to produce the film through his production company Plan B. The non-fiction book is about British explorer Col. Percy Harrison Fawcett, who was attempting to find the so-called City of Z when he and his party disappeared in 1925.
The book, based on David Grann’s September 2005 article in the New Yorker, will be published next February.

Speaking of Sarah, GC’s girlfriend. It’s possible he likes them to have talent only where it matters to him ( In the bedroom). Those bent over poses she’s giving must work well with him. When you hear GC speak he seems very charming. Naturally women love him. He always has a good comeback to everything. Listen, normally I’m a firm believer in a girl’s gotta eat…but when the person who did these acts, on film, later tries to claim they were just kidding around with friends or says it’s not what it appears to be…that’s when I have a problem with it. Just quit lying about it. Porgie’s acting all offended like he can’t believe someone would have the nerve to question his girlfriend’s past, yet he knew the deal when he brought her out in the red carpet with her. Anyone he appears in public with is subject to the same microscope he is, but more so because women love to bring other women down. That’s why there are so many gossip magazines. If the chick just came out and admitted to her past, then maybe people would cut her some slack. But Porgie getting all snippy about a phone call and then airing it in public and the girlfriend claiming her past wasn’t REALLY all that bad…and then pix of her showing her bald cooch to the world turn up? I’m just saying they MIGHT want to re-think their PR strategy. Because the longer he goes denying the truth the deeper the hole he’s digging with those 3 fans who went to his movie this weekend.

I think one of the things that works in Brad’s favor with guys is that although he’s done some schlocky romantic date movies he’s also done “guy flicks” like Fight Club, Seven, Snatch, Troy and M&MS. I know guys who LOVE to quote Fight Club and Snatch. Brad’s movies are much easier for guys to identify with.
Now name some “guy flicks” that Porgie has done…that aren’t the Oceans movies. I can’t even count The Perfect Storm! Maybe Batman & Robin…which everyone agreed sucked.

BTW, I think Burn after Reading will do well in the Box Office and DVD, thanks to Brad being there. I thought Brad was a good comic actor in Mr and Mrs Smith. I’m looking forward to BAR.

Porgie likes to be charming and glib because it deflects the seriouness of the questions. He doesn’t like it when anyone questions his motives or his choices…but he’s got the gall to stand in judgment of others all the time. It’s a little hard for me to take his political comments seriously when he can’t even handle a little heat regarding his choice of women.
Also - just wanted to point something out with those Mavrixonline.com photos - notice how NONE of the other women are deliberately flashing the camera. Only Larson is showing the buyer the goods. So it’s not like she can say, “Everyone was doing it.” because the pictures prove that’s a lie. Maybe there are other pix with the other girls being equally as lewd, but the fact of the matter is, look at the picture of Larson sitting on the motorcycle behind the other girl. She’s got a very smug, self-satisfied smirk on her face. She knew exactly what she was doing and is pretty damned proud of herself. So for her to claim now that her past wasn’t really that bad is ridiculous. Any woman who’s show the goods on film isn’t going to have many qualms about selling the goods for a wad of cash, too.

…seems like you’re stereotyping…all male actors including some closeted gay ones have to occasionally do so called ‘guy flicks’…and, some of us enjoy dramas and other cerebral pictures…not just action, maybe if you are teen or grown don’t read…maybe too, those who have exposed to good theater shows more variety…now, Denzel and De niro…I’d wait on line for them…I only appreciated Pitt in seven, a river runs through it, MMS, and the Mexican…I didn’t care about those so called ‘guy flicks’ you referred…I wasn’t interested…obviously, many people were interested…but, I think Pitt’s and Clooney’s fan are mostly women…but, Denzel (king kong and got nothing on me) and De niro (you talkin to me?)…hahahah…killah!…equally men and women.

The difference is that neither Brad or Angie denies their pasts. And really…my problem isn’t even with Larson. It’s with Porgie. He just needs to stop acting like his shite don’t stink because it does! Hopefully another box office bomb will give the jerk a little humility, but I seriously doubt it.

I think GC and X are quite similar, both knew how to manipulate media on their side, and was rather successful on it, both are media darlings, but unfortunately, media darling is not equal to BO. both can not open a movie along without the help of bigger co star.
Women love GC. I remember when he was rumoured to be dating Renee Zellweger years ago. Even though people saw them making out , George denied they were seeing each other and said they were just friends. When Renee was asked about their relationship, she indicated that she liked him a lot but that the interviewer would have to ask George to define their relationship. Whenever a women says this it tells me she is very much interested but the man doesn’t want to commit.

Otherwise, like you, I don’t see anything wrong with what sarah has done. She (nor Porgie) need be ashamed about her past. It’s not as if Sarah hurt anyone by being an escort or an actress in some dubiously explicit movies or whatever - (at least, she didn’t hurt anyone in a non consensual way). So, who am I to judge or care? But lying about it, denying it, would be a big mistake on her (and Porgie’s) part.
I’m actually surprise that Porgie is so hamfisted in his PR efforts as to want to deny Sarah’s past or give it a different gloss. He should have said “so f—king what? I like her.” That’s all.
