Jennifer Aniston Forms ‘Echo Films’
Jennifer Aniston and long-time producing partner Kristin Hahn have formed their own company - Echo Films, according to Variety.
The company has acquired a number of projects already, most likely vehicles for Aniston.
Universal Studios and Dreamworks are currently working with Echo Films on future projects.
WHAT DO YOU THINK about Jen’s new company? Will it be successful?

Aniston is, simply put, not a very good actress. She does not have range. The only reason that she is still grabbing headlines is because she was the first Mrs. Brad Pitt. And also because she has a good publicist.
Only time will tell where this new company will go. Shortly after Friends ended, there were nearly daily reports of her being signed up for this and that film with this and that big stars (even Meryl Streep) but pretty much nothing came of those projects. More to the point, she has not impressed in any of her films, and goodness knows, she has had her chances thanks to the Brad Pitt connection. People who think that she played an active part in the Plan B company must be delusional.
She should go back to TV but then that might not be so easy either given the changes in the TV business as well.
Now we also realize why she was suddenly so available to the papparazis. They must have timed it for this announcement.
.
You obviously agree with the rest of my comments:
1. that Anuston has a very limited range of acting;
2. that Anuston is having a hell of a time getting funding for any of her projects;
3. that her more recent projects, The Traveller, Marley and me had very limited funding, that is why they took only 3 months to make;
4. that Hollywood is not bank rolling her films because they view her as a Pity Party Girl - a loser. Hollywood wants a winner !
5. that her A-list quest is an illusion;
And, BTW, that exposing her butt doesnt cut it - true talent and working your ass off are the key. Her range is limited to the Rachel persona, that is a fact and well accepted in Hollywood. She is arguabley the laziest actor in Hollywood. Ya’ think exposing her butt and plumb v****a will persuade me to invest in any of her projects ?
.
Anuston and Hahn are dreaming is any Hedge Fund will take seriously in her acting ability.
.
And - BTW, I belong to a ER/Trauma Physician Association. My colleagues and I am heavily invested. Do you know how often the Association gets hounded by Hedge Funds manager to bank roll a film ? Senior partners deliberate what film, who takes the lead acting roles and the lead producers of the film. And her so-called producing partner - Hahn - she is absolutely clueless about film financial ventures. My partners feels Hahns should go. She is not helping Anuston’s images. In one of her pitches, Hahns just brag on how she manipulate Anuston is bank rolling her new house. And Anuston is definitely clueless. And that’s one reason also, my partners has no confidence is Anuston ability to monitor and control Hahn. In other words, we’re not confident that Anuston has the intelligence and stamina to run a film company.
.
Anuston is always passed 100%. Ask any Hollywood Hedge fund manager. Anuston is viewed as a pathetic pity party girl and the laziest Hollywood actress. Ya’ think exposing her boobs, @$$ and very plumb v****a are all what it takes to bank roll her pity party film ?
.
These so-called pending projects were presented to us 2 years ago, all its subjects are about Jolie, the divorce and her planned revenge. Anuston is obsessed. The movie-going public is so bored with that kind of theme. Anuston, every which way she can is obsessed in blaming Angelina of her failed marriage, and films.
.
There you go !

what do you think this press release to Variety was for attention.
All these things already have happened but Jen and her agent wanted everyone to know.
If Jen is keeping her charity work private than how do YOU know about it.
i am producing my own film because no one in hollywood wants an ugly old hag like me in their pictures. Not even my bu-tt pictures could get me a role. Pity pity me bwa bwa bwa

I jennifer aniston will be producing my x rated z films because no one in Hollywood would like me to star in their production. Not even my b-ut-t pictures can make hugh hefner land me in the covers of his magazine. Poor poor me… pity pity me

My best revenge is to show my bu-tt in public and produce my own pity movies for my autistic fans out there.
Jennifer aniston being dumped by brad pitt is ok but being dumped by vince vaughn and 5 other guys must be the lowest of the low. Jennifer aniston is a hollywood reject in relationships and hollywood career. No wonder she has to keep every penny of her divorce settlement to get her own production company. Five years from now Insecure jennifer aniston would not even show her homely face in public.
.
I just went through the Association’s investment propectus. Hollywood is buzzling about open bidding for the MI4 series after the recent news that Sumner paved the way to get Tom Cruise return to reprise his role. You can bet the senior partners will take serious considerations for a limited investment.
.
This is big - realistically, our share will be limited because there are bigger investors already lined up to invest in this venture. Still, my association will take a very close look on all statistical analysis.
.
Tom Cruise works damn hard for Hedge Fund funding, and MI series is money making franchise. Still Hedge Funds managers will make sure there is huge market out there. And there is.
.
Compare that to Anuston failed and pathetic projects. Now, who do you think investor will line up to bank roll ? In all probability, Anuston will bank roll her own project if Hahn is not able to make miracle happens. That may be the only way she can stay in the business.
.
I do agree with most of the comments - Anuston is not a bankable talent. Still, I hope her the best. Regretably, I voted her out of our association pending investment, as all of the other partners.
.
Hollywood agent Sylvie Rabineau has brokered the deal with Echo Films:
what is it?
just buy the rights to EVENTUALLY write a script
it is only PR
agency Rabineau, Wachter & Sanford .
The agency has established itself with a book department that has brokered underlying rights deals movies
…………………………………………………………….
Me think Man went BALISTIC after the( fake) wedding
and wanted the world to know that she is a strong deal in Hollywood
Too bad, she was caught in the April fool ;
caca Manuston
For those few of you critical of Plan B–they’ve produced some really good movies that the critics liked and that received award recognition. Troy bombed, but they also produced Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Departed (Oscar nominated out the wazoo), Running with Scissors (I believe that got a couple of noms also), Year of hte Dog, A Mighty Heart, and the Assassination of Jesse James–all of these films, with the exception of Troy have been hits with the critics.
I think Plan B is going for quality and critical success. Echo will have a hard time competing if that is what JA wants to do. Wish her luck. Her movies sound great for Lifetime TV.

how do i know about it!!! Try reading something else than gossip!!! i´ll tell u just a small one that came on the news the pre oscar night !!! Jen went and Bragelina was too busy to help….
and please u trying to be Jen get a terapy…as much as u wish u´ll never be her…SORRY!!!!
I wish u all the best Jen!!!! This´ll work out like everything u do
Kisses…
Good deal!!!!!!!!!I heard no one would hire her for movies well good for her…
I wish her luck. Perhaps now she can continue making lame movies with herself as the star. She’ll be like Oprah, putting her (photoshop) on the cover of all her magazines.
If Jennifer is smart she’ll use the most talented of the “Friends” bunch for her films; Lisa Kudrow was/is the best actress to come out of “Friends”. Jen & Courtney were/are medicore at best.
There’s no question in my mind that Brad Pitt made the right choice and moved on with his life. He now has a beautiful caring woman at his side and four adorable children.
Good for you Brad; life is too short to wait around for a 38 year old woman( or man) to grow up and figure out what they want out of life.
As I’ve said more than once. Jennifer Anniston is an average woman who won the lottery and didn’t claim her ticket (Brad Pitt); unless you count the fact that she got the chance to ride his coat-tails for four or five years.
I wish her no ill will, I hope she finds happiness; I have a problem with Ms.Anniston using the fact that was dumped to garner sympathy and allow your ex and his new love to appear as evil doers.
Consider going back to the small screen, your “abilities” are better suited for movies of the week.

Brad and Angie were sponsors of this annual fundraiser for people in the entertainment business as well as Jen and many other people, and they donated a large amount of money like all the others who were listed as sponsors including George Clooney who also did not attend.
Brad and Angie were actually packing the night of that fundraiser and moved to Texas the next day (Oscar day) for Brad’s new movie where they will be until June.
Brad and Angie could care less about Jen as they have real lives, Jen and her friends know this truth, and so do 99.9% of the people on this planet.
You are in the .1% dummy dumb clueless group.
There is already an echo films, so how can this be?…

Jen can’t even get cast as a lead in top tier rom coms these days. KateH and Anne H are making a rom com in NYC right now, both are in their 20’s and very popular. Jen’s movies coming out this year are low budget quickies like those seen on Lifetime and O 24 hrs a day. Her big movie paydays are over, a thing of the past.
KHahn has no track record in production circles. I don’t see how Jen and Hahn can succeed in obtaining financing for real world movies, they need to get in the tv track as soon as possible and get a deal with Lifetime or maybe seek Oprah’s help.
I hope she is successful with this because she has no other life!

You have made my day. Lawsuit on the horizon. Didn’t even do minimal research before making this big announcement. Unless they bought this name but does not seem so. LOL

It’s the Story of Our Search for Danny Pearl. But in This Movie, He’s Nowhere to Be Found.
By Asra Q. Nomani
Sunday, June 24, 2007; B01
O n Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2002, I stood at the gate of my rented house in Karachi, watching my friend Danny Pearl juggle a notebook, cellphone and earpiece as he bounded over to a taxicab idling in the street. He was off to try to find the alleged al-Qaeda handler of “shoe bomber” Richard Reid in Pakistan. “Good luck, dude,” I called, waving cheerfully as he strode off, a lopsided grin on his face. His pregnant wife, Mariane, stood smiling and waving beside me as the taxi pulled away. A gaggle of parrots swooped through the trees above, squawking in the late afternoon sun.
That was the last image I had of Danny until late last month, when a PR executive for Paramount Vantage pulled up to my house in Morgantown, W.Va., in a black Lincoln Town Car. She was carrying a DVD of “A Mighty Heart,” the just-released movie, based on the book by Mariane Pearl, about the staggering events that unfolded after that innocuous moment in Pakistan: Danny’s kidnapping and eventual beheading.
With my parents and a friend beside me, I pressed “play” on my DVD player and settled in to watch. Slowly, as the scenes ticked by, my heart sank. I could live with having been reduced from a colleague of Danny’s to a “charming assistant” to Mariane, as one review put it, and even with having been cut out of the scene in front of my house in Pakistan. That’s the creative license Hollywood takes. What I couldn’t accept was that Danny himself had been cut from his own story.
The character I saw on the screen was flat — nerdy, bland and boring. He’s not at all like Danny, who wrote “ditties” about Osama bin Laden while he was investigating Pakistan’s nuclear secrets and jihadist groups as a reporter for the Wall Street Journal. On screen, he’s warned three times to meet with Sheik Mubarik Ali Gilani — the man with whom he thought he had an interview — only in public. But off he goes, ignoring the warnings. The message: Reckless journalist.
That was nothing like the Danny I knew. As the credits rolled, I murmured to my mother, “Danny had a cameo in his own murder.”
For me, watching the movie was like having people enter my home, rearrange the furniture and reprogram my memory. I’d known it was a gamble when I agreed to help with a Hollywood version of Danny’s kidnapping, but I’d done it because I thought the movie had the potential to be meaningful. I’d hoped it could honor the man I’d worked alongside for nine years at the Journal by explaining why he was so passionate about his work as a reporter. I’d hoped that it would tell the story of the unique team of law enforcement agents, government officials and journalists — of varying religions, nationalities and cultures — that had searched for him. And I hoped it could spark a search for the truth behind Danny’s death.
But the moviemakers and their PR machine seemed intent on two very different and much shallower goals: creating a mega-star vehicle for Angelina Jolie, who plays Mariane, and promoting the glib and cliched idea that both Danny and Mariane were “ordinary heroes.”
I think Danny would have rolled his eyes at that.
In the prologue to her book, Mariane wrote to her son: “I write this book for you, Adam, so you know that your father was not a hero but an ordinary man.” In a movie voiceover, that dedication becomes: “This film is for our son so he knows that his father was an ordinary man. An ordinary hero.”
But there weren’t any real heroes in the story of Danny’s tragedy. Danny would have said he was just doing his job. When he went off that day in Karachi, he didn’t give any impression that he thought what he was doing was especially dangerous. He just had a story he wanted to pursue and an interview he thought would help him. After he vanished, I don’t think any of us, not even Mariane, did anything particularly courageous, either. We each had a duty to try to find him — either as professionals or because of the bonds of friendship or family.
I know that movies need a dramatic arc and that there has to be room for artistic license in the telling of a true story, because reality is often so chaotic. I know that it’s natural to search for a compelling narrative structure to make sense of tragedy and pointlessness. And I do believe that Danny’s last moments, as he declared his Jewishness for his kidnappers’ video camera, showed his strength of character.
But recasting a story just so we can tell ourselves that we’ve found a hero is too easy. It’s the quickest way to convince ourselves that what happened wasn’t such a bad thing, that it had redeeming value, that we can close the book on it and move on with our lives. We do it too often — with television shows about ordinary people with extraordinary powers, with magazine features that extol the
toda la suerte del mundo para Jen en este nuevo emprendimiento!

And you find something to laugh at when what she said is so sad and pathetic? This woman willingly participated in all the the pre and post filming activities. She was OK with everything until she realized that her negative viewpoint had not prevailed in the final product. She refused to see that the story was not from her point of view but from MP’s heartbreak. She wanted to story to focus only on DP not on MP at all. No matter than DP parents and sister were very pleased with the film, or that MP was pleased with what was her story, her book, her life, her husband, the slain father of her child.
This woman has a bitter cold heart just like you do. There is nothing here in this miserable article to laugh about.
Yes you are a Jen fan, just like her you are a heartless coldblooded nonloving selfish repulsive reptilian humanoid.
That’s exactly why Brad ran away from her as fast as he could, and why he did not have kids with her. As he told Larry King, “I always knew I’d be a DAD when the time was right, and obviously with Angie the time was right”. Also “Angie as their mother was the best gift I could give my children”.
