OlderHeidi Montag: I’m Voting John McCain
Heidi Montag isn’t backing Hillary Clinton for Barack Obama for president.
“I’m voting for John McCain,” she tells Us Weekly. “I’m a Republican and McCain has a lot of experience. [But] I don’t think anyone cares who Heidi Montag votes for.”
The New York Times recently called Heidi a “feminist hero”. Of course, she was flattered.
“I was very honored to be called a feminist hero,” Ms. Montag told In Touch. “It’s a big deal to be even acknowledged, let alone complimented by The New York Times by such a profound, famous TV critic.”
Now you know who not to vote for in the upcoming election!
UPDATE: McCain has responded to Montag’s support, saying, “I’m honored to have Heidi’s support and I want to assure her that I never miss an episode of The Hills, especially since the new season started.” Ummm…

In this next election you only have one choice to make. Do you want to live in a cuba style country for 4-8 years? Mccain is your only choice to remain ‘free’ in this country. You won’t see the other “celebs” say this because when you have millions of dollars, the laws don’t apply to you anyhow. You can be against people having guns, while your body guards carry them, you can get dui after dui after dui, nothing happens.

Comparing Obama’s or Clinton’s policy to Cuban revolutionary-style communism is pretty ignorant. Look at countries that have done spectacularly well under left-leaning capitalism: France under Mitterand, Spain under Gonzalez, to say nothing of the Scandinavian countries.
Anyway, who cares what Heidi Montag thinks? She’s a ditzy blond ******, the kind who craves celebrity but hasn’t the chops or talent to warrant it.

I am not a big follower of these shows, but I give her credit. Not for who she is voting for, but for admitting it. Not only is it not the “in” thing to do in Hollywood, but it seems like the general public, in message board land anyway, will attack anyone who doesn’t vote Democrat.

Obama is a liar who flip flops on just about everything. He has ZERO experience on foreign policy. No experience on Iraq, no experience running a state let alone a country. 1. He’s a true patriot.
2. He pushed for the surge that is bringing an end to the Iraq war.
3. He will not raise capital gains tax.
4. He won’t reinstate the inheritance tax.
5. He warned Congress on the Senate floor that they had to address, what has led to the current “bail out”, over three years ago.
6. Prior to Reagan sending troops to Beirut, he warned against it. (Remember the barracks bombing.)
7. He was wise enough to pick a highly respectable … conservative running mate…Sarah Palin, who is known to fight corruption, and we are in the midst of more corruption that has ever been seen in American politics.
8. In general, he is for smaller government, which means taking less from the American taxpayer.
9. He is an honorable man, who loves his country.
10. He has the most experience.
11. He won’t negotiate with terrorists…because, it never works. He is NOT an appeaser.
12. He would nominate Supreme Court justices, who would interpret the true intent of The Constitution, and our founders, NOT legislate from the bench.
13. Favors drilling off shore.
14. He served in the U.S. Armed Forces
15. He voted against giving illegals Social Security benefits.
16. Supports gun ownership rights…as The Constitution does.
17. He does NOT support proposed programs that will lead to huge tax increases.
18. He supports keeping the dividend tax at 15%, NOT increasing it to 39.6%.
19. He has no affiliation with any terrorist organizations.
20. I trust him, and I believe he has the best interest of our country in his heart.
