Heidi Montag: I’m Voting John McCain

Heidi Montag isn’t backing Hillary Clinton for Barack Obama for president.

“I’m voting for John McCain,” she tells Us Weekly. “I’m a Republican and McCain has a lot of experience. [But] I don’t think anyone cares who Heidi Montag votes for.”

The New York Times recently called Heidi a “feminist hero”. Of course, she was flattered.

“I was very honored to be called a feminist hero,” Ms. Montag told In Touch. “It’s a big deal to be even acknowledged, let alone complimented by The New York Times by such a profound, famous TV critic.”

Now you know who not to vote for in the upcoming election!

UPDATE: McCain has responded to Montag’s support, saying, “I’m honored to have Heidi’s support and I want to assure her that I never miss an episode of The Hills, especially since the new season started.” Ummm…

who cares?who is she anyway?

Does Heidi even know what a feminist is? Has she ever heard of the NY Times? Heidi, FYI it’s not a clock or a time zone!

April Fool’s was yesterday. Did this article appear in the Times yesterday? That is the only explanation.

YES, YES, YES.
all you damn celebrity democratics.

Seriously, people: please get off your soapboxes, and let the girl have her opinion (even if you don’t like her)! Heidi’s right about one thing at least, that no one SHOULD care about what she thinks. Frankly, no one should care what any celebrity thinks when it comes to choosing a presidential candidate. What happened to doing the research and thinking for ourselves??? People who base their opinions on those of Oprah, etc. are just plain lazy.

And Jared, I really don’t appreciate your recent blatant political bias. Isn’t this supposed to just be an unbiased celebrity gossip site?

And we care… why?

of course she’s dumb enough to do that..

Hmm, I just read the TImes article. It was in the entertainment section and it appeared “Tongue in Cheek”. Delusions of Grandeur have her feeling good about what was written.

OK, I’m done now. Our country is safe from Heidi the Hero. Whew!

John McCain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! #1

Gives me another reason NOT to vote McCain.

this ***** is still alive?!

Heidi for McCain?

That explains a lot.

Wow… respect for new york times reaching unimaginable low…

After reading that she is back Mccain, i am very, very proud of her. I will no longer make fun of her. I am so happy to hear she isn’t an ignorant liberal!

she’s voting? does she know how? or when? she didn’t get the NY Times piece! and that all of you are praising her for supporting the non-hollywood-party line? she’s so clueless, she’s only doing what her dumbass boyfriend has told her to say.

Well, she’s right about one thing.

Hahaha , voters are so representative of the person they elect ! I’m definitely team OBAMA !!!
Puh-lease , for the ignorant person who compared the US to Cuba if Obama wins : your narrow-minded is definitely representative of the narrow-minded person you vote for !

Ha , and yes , Heidi , we don’t care a 1 IQ idiot like you vote for !

I am so tired of celebrities thinking they can tell us who they vote for so mindless people will follow them. She is just another overpaid uneducated person that doesn’t live in the real world forcing her political views on people that think she’s important. BLEH!

I’m pretty sure Heidi is only voting for McCain because her parents are. Like she knows anything about politics.

The only reason she is voting for McCain is because she;s a rich spoiled ***** and doesn’t want to share any of it with the less fortunate.

If McCain is elected we are going to be in Iraq for about 30 years and the economy is going to recline even further. I respect her opinion but not her decision.

Also, a feminist hero? She gives women a bad name? She moved toe LA on her parents money and moved into a ritzy apartment. What has she done to help the women’s movement, please I really want to know NY Times.

I’m from europe and McCain and his war politic is a shame! I hope there will be a change! democrates are so much better!

believe it,the US is not the capital of the world!

that new york times article is blatantly sarcastic.

EW. shes a republican

#48 the funny thing is she’ll take any publicity whether good or bad. She is trash and takes herself too seriously………..there’s gotta be a way to get rid of these talentless idiots!!!
