OlderHeidi Montag: I’m Voting John McCain
Heidi Montag isn’t backing Hillary Clinton for Barack Obama for president.
“I’m voting for John McCain,” she tells Us Weekly. “I’m a Republican and McCain has a lot of experience. [But] I don’t think anyone cares who Heidi Montag votes for.”
The New York Times recently called Heidi a “feminist hero”. Of course, she was flattered.
“I was very honored to be called a feminist hero,” Ms. Montag told In Touch. “It’s a big deal to be even acknowledged, let alone complimented by The New York Times by such a profound, famous TV critic.”
Now you know who not to vote for in the upcoming election!
UPDATE: McCain has responded to Montag’s support, saying, “I’m honored to have Heidi’s support and I want to assure her that I never miss an episode of The Hills, especially since the new season started.” Ummm…

The New York Times guy probably made a mistake and meant Susan SONTAG famous feminist author. Either he made the mistake or the person attributing it to the NYT made the mistake, but there’s no way Heidi Montag is either a feminist or a hero.

i used to not be bother by heidi, i used to not pay attention to her stupid antics(ie. she and spencer bad mouthing lauren in every single tv and tabloid interview they give, calling the paparazzi to take their pictures…etc) but now, she and spencer are getting on my freakin’ nerves! those two love the media attention more than miley cyrus and paris hilton combined! sad. im all for a person with real TALENT, who starts from scratch to build a hollywood career(ie. no free ride, reality tv shows) who goes to auditons and works hard. this is yet another reason why i miss the 90s…where back then, actual celebrities existed, where you will hear how it took them years to make it big in hollywood…to reach success for your hard work and dedication.

And the statement, “Now we know who not to vote for,” is just another example of political bias. I have nothing wrong with people expressing their opinions–in fact, I’m an Obama supporter.
