Tom Cruise’s Mission to Save Himself

Last week, Tom Cruise met with former boss Sumner Redstone of Paramount Pictures, who decided not to renew Tom’s contract in 2006.

According to FoxNews.com, “The fact that Cruise groveled in public with Redstone would indicate that the actor knows just how bad “Valkyrie” is and that he’s trying to shore up his future before the eye patch hits the fan this fall. Certainly, a signed $20 million contract from Paramount would be insurance against this unavoidable disaster destroying his career.”

“More importantly, if Redstone allows Cruise back, he will be returning after the release this fall of “Valkyrie,” in which he plays Col. Claus von Stauffenberg, the real-life would-be assassin of Adolf Hitler, with an eye patch, a withered limb and — according to the $100 million film’s trailer — a California accent reminiscent of Jerry Maguire.”

Valkyrie, directed by Bryan Singer (X-Men, Superman Returns), is set to be released this coming October, and follows Tom’s recent box-office blunder, Lions for Lambs.

Solaris…have you watched the movie already?
Anyway, the lunatic midget is in a hurry to sell his image as a hero that he goes out of his way to create his own accident scene in reality. Never in my life have I heard of someone always saving others AND then getting it photographed and on the NEWS…

In anycase havent seen a WW11 movie in ages and this one is defintely not on my list…

I saw the trailer already. The madness in TC’s eyes scared me. I am not sure if Claus von Stauffenberg would have acted that way.

The last film I saw about WWII was The band of Brothers, moment…The flag of our father…I think. Isn’t Jamie Bell marvelous? But it is always a treat to see Damian Lewis. But “Catch 22″ is my fav.

In any case ,,they are out and about , they went to an Easter gospel brunch with Holmes mom and sister in toe and they were all color coordinated in cream including the scientolotot

Tom has it all from his career and his family. That is hard to find in Hollywood. He also runs a studio.

The whole Redstone was classy on Tom and Wagner’s part because Redstone did all the trash talk but Tom and Wagner moved on and said nothing. Redstone appeared bitter and unprofessional then took back all the things he said. Now with the reunion Redstone is still doing the talking while classy Tom and Paula remains intact.
Similar with The Dreamworks Spielberg and Geffen, Paramount camps trashed talk them saying who needs Spielberg and Dreamworks but Spielberg and Co. never said anything but went about business remaining classy and professional throughout.

Praying for Tom’s Oscars but even with none he’s already a winner
and American legendary actor in the biz.

Fake Berlin…ew! The reason I watched it was one and the only JRM. All this big bang did not impress me at all.

I will say, all the bad and wrong news about TC do not mean that they are bad, and do not mean that they are wrong.

Have you seen the new pix of Suri and her “father”’s outing at the park recently?
Gosh! Somebody help that girl to get out of TC’s grip.
Can anything be more fake than those staged photo ops?
In none of those pix did the child look excited or happy. She was lonely with no interaction with any of the other kids. She wore an expensive prom dress to the sand box, knowing no one there, not even sure whether she knew how to play.
This is just pathetic.

They can’t speak to their children because they have left the Church on their own determinism. This is a widespread practice and if you dare deny it I have a list of all of there names together — these people’s families are crying every day because they can’t speak to their children who did nothing but leave the Church of their own free will.

If I am in fact wrong and you want to prove me as such, then allow me and my family to be in contact with our family members that are still part of the Church such as my Grandpa, Ron Miscavige, and his wife, Becky. Allow the same of my friends. And don’t even start with the, “it’s their choice all along story…” — nobody is going to buy that, there are way too many destroyed families for that to be true.

I am tempted to take up many of the other accusations you categorically deny in your novel, but for the purpose of keeping this letter readable and focused on the most important part (family) I will resist.

I will suggest however that maybe you should spend the manpower and time of drafting your masterpiece rebuttal — why don’t you take the high road for once and put that time towards repairing the families you have destroyed, starting with the family of David Miscavige himself — hell, if Scientology can’t keep his family together — then why on earth should anyone believe the Church helps bring families together!

I think we should avoid, actually ban, the word “church” when we talk about the Scientology cult. We are unwillingly giving them credibility if we choose that word. It is a sect, or a cult. It is dangerous, and it destroys people’s lives, their financial situation, their happiness, their freedom and their families.

As long as Tom Cruise and his wife Katie Holmes let themselves be used as PR robots for this cult whose only real interests and goals are money, control and power, we should boycott their movies.

Don’t contribute, don’t help the Scientology cult in any way. It is a destructive and sick organization, and it gets stronger each time we endorse Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, or any of the other artists they use to promote their cult.

I agree with you, Emma. Church is a place where we celebrate “LOVE”, “COMPASSION”. Scientology, by the names, means “study of Science”, Church is not “Study of GOD”, …well, I do not want to preach, but we all know what church is.
Scientology, by its act, will never understand the meaning of Love, let alone compassion. An organization which demands a total and blind obedience will never teach love.
I just wish with all my heart, KH will be free one day. She is still young, and life is still long for her. I hope she wakes up not too late. Life is so precious to be wasted away.

Fox news!!! Man oh man people who visits these sites are messed up and have such boring lives they have to comments on Celebrities. This guy has done wonderful stuff. I think he wants to make movies not just fade away because he has money. If he is doing his own studio he couldn’t afford to do all the big budget stuff, it wouldn’t be feasible for someone to invest $50 mill of their own money, even if they do have tons of it. I couldn’t believe the comment of, where’s Suri, I want to see Suri. Now I will blow out of here and never come back. Seriously people get your own life happening. Your life is what matters not some movie star’s. Live Life to the fullest peoples.
