Michelle Trachtenberg: Gossip Girl’s New Queen of Mean?

Michelle Trachtenberg puts on her gray suede shoes and films more scenes in New York City on Wednesday for her upcoming guest appearance on Gossip Girl.

Trachtenberg, 22, is doing a multi-episode arc as Georgina Sparks, a girl who pops into Manhattan after spending time in rehab and shakes up the life of Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively). Will Georgina reign as the new queen of mean??

And don’t get your hopes up — Michelle probably won’t be back after this short stint on Gossip Girl.

“I got a few laugh lines now and crow’s feet and I’m sagging all over the place,” Michelle laughed, “so I guess I can’t play a sixteen-year-old anymore.”

I think she’s very pretty, but I do think producers and casting agents *should* cast actual 16-18 year olds to play teenagers. If you were to go by TV alone, you’d think every real 15/16 year old looked like a woman or a man just a b-day shy of 30.

In my opinion if they couldn’t get Mischa Barton they should have tried to get the next best thing and that would be the girl who played Kaitlin Cooper on The OC . She would have been a better Georgina that Michelle Trachtenberg .

I live in Orange County so i’m like obsessed with the show still even though it’s been over a year since they cancled it. But Gossip GIrl is like the best replacement for the OC.

I love Michelle! Beware guys, she doesn’t have anything to do with those teanny chicks! She’s got a brain, she speaks russian, she classical dances, and is quite rock and roll- she was dating Robbie Williams, I don’t say it’s a great thing to do I mean just don’t compare her to stinky Hollywood spoiled chiks like Bilson, or Barton they haven’t played on the same grounds… Keep watching her, she will be a great one someday!

I hope she is only part of this season . I honestly believe that she won’t really help the show with ratings . The only reason I watched Buffy is because of Sarah Michelle Geller not because of Dawn aka Michelle Trachtenberg .She didn’t help Buffy and she won’t be able to help Gossip Girl .
