Her career didn’t take off as she expected or it stalled for a reason that we will never know but to possibly land a contract because of a supposed bf? Megan is going to keep doing the photo shoots, but not do runway; that much has been confirmed by the DJ folks. Her people have been saying that she would get Megan Gale’s gig at David Jones for a while. The David Jones people have denied it going so far as to mention in an article this year that they were looking at image issues and suggested that Jennifer Hawkins (Miss Australia/Miss Universe) is a very sweet likeable model that they are seriously considering. The latest articles also mention denials on DJ’s part, so her people just might be keeping Miranda’s name in the press.

At one point, it was mentioned that Miranda was not renewed by Portman’s due to her VS contract and commanding more money, but image issues keep popping up so who knows what to believe re: her career.

I have wondered/suspected/been curious if in fact the managment firms employ people to read gossip blogs. It would definately give an eye opening view of what is being put out there on their celebs. There seems to be a trend towards the unflattering towards both Orlando and MK. Orlando has done many interviews over the years and his fans remember what he has said. His fans are remembering him from days long past and see what is happening now, true or not, and are viewing him in a completely different light.
Orlando does not appear to be the poster child anymore and his fans have grown up. By being able to read sites such as this, they start to question him, causing doubts about anything and everything about him. How simple it use to be when it was just TigerBeat reporting.

I don’t think all cops do it, but I do think that LA is an industry town, and when people have the kind of money and power that celebrities do,and if they themselves don’t, the people who rep them sure do and they know how to use it. Unless they are falling down drunk or stoned, I believe that they cut such people slack, kinda of like they would for a mayor, or something. You just know it is gonna give you grief and sometimes it is easier to just look the other way. I have friends who are cops in a large city and they tell me that sometimes it is just easier to let it slide, especially if they know the person is not going to get back behind the wheel that night. I also saw my son handcuffed, and his car impounded simply because he asked them to skip the balancing tests, and to let him blow, because he knew he wasn’t drunk. when they got him to the station and he was sober, it cost him 160.00 to get his car out of impound, and no even said they were sorry. Regular people do get different treatment.

The way he acted after the accident could have been shock, but I have been in a wreck or two, and the first thing that is out of everyone’s mouth is “is everyone ok” automatic response. As the matter of fact, I still think it is possible that the very first b!tches post came from MK. As someone above mentioned, it is pretty clear that someone is following the MK threads here on JJ. Could be a friend, could be an employee, but we have seen the signs. Now, MK seems to me - and it’s just an impression - the kind of girl who would google her name once in a while, and when she is trying to build a reputation, she would do it more often. I’m not saying she does that, I don’t know her, but she reminds me of people who do this regularly. And believe me, if a person who thinks she is such a pretty girl and loved by everyone, comes here and reads how everyone - including myself - talks about her, constantly mentioning her c-h-eating story and on several occasions call her names, I think it is quite normal to freak out.
Sometimes we forget that the people we gossip about are human too, and have feelings. (Yea, I know, Jay has feelings too, not the point here.) Point is, it’s quite normal to write an anon post and scream at the nobodies who talk shiit about her. Dunno what made me think it’s MK, but that was my first intuition and I tend to believe my gut.
What shocked me is how a bunch of people - some out of mockery, but some honestly - started asking b!tches questions and thanked her for the answers, and asked for more and more details… that was… weird, at best.

So once again, to make it clear: I think celebs are people too. They have better things to do than read gossip about themselves, but it doesn’t mean it won’t happen. But! I don’t think she was all that desperate to get away from the paps, they set there a while laughing their asses off, wonder at what? You can hear one of the paps say it wasn’t gonna be good, I think she was drunk. I have wondered about that too, why there are no pictures. My theory is that chick looked a lot like his sister, and if she was driving it could have been bad for her, I remember a few people commented on his sister being with him and even called her Sam, and then nothing more was said. and while everyone knew who Cher was the brunet was never identirfied. would explain maybe why he was outside of the car, hoping to give her time to move over to the passenger seat before the paps showed up. But hey who knows, maybe he was just drunk or high, maybe the paps ran him off the road, or maybe it was just an accident. IT sure didn’t give him any good press though, and I think the thing still hangs over him a little. I really doubt there is any on going investigation though.

He looked high to me that night, dazed and acting really out of character (throughout the night not just after the crash - there is some filming of him with a friend leaving a car-park; the incident with VT and the guy outside the club, his walk to the car which looked a bit aimless and disorientated; Cher telling him angrily not to just leave her; and then after the crash). I had an odd feeling through all of it, also found it strange the way his friends were talking/yelling at him as it gave me the impression they knew he wasn’t thinking clearly. The only time he appeared to be himself was after he returned to the scene. I was frankly surprised that no tests were done and think he had a lucky escape. Even his own official press release didn’t mention him passing a test or that he was not under the influence - and they must have known it would be speculated in so if he was 100% inicent I don’t get why he/they didn’t directly state that and stop the coming discussions.
Anyway, it’s old news now so no point going over it again.
I had hoped it might act as a wakeup call for him to get himself sorted out but unfortunately I still don’t think that has happened.

Hmm, was he maybe hoping his GF Miranda Kerr might not be too happy with his companions? It must be tough to carry on any illicit activities when you’re photographed by the paps. There were no pictures that I saw of him arriving. The only ones are of him exiting and yes there are those of him leaving “alone” but clearly he wasn’t alone. It’s not his car, so I am thinking it’s his (male) friend’s vehicle.

The girl he left the VS afterparty with was MOLLY SIMS, they have known each other for YEARS, plus nobody knew for certian if he and Kerr were dating back in NOVEMBER it was just hearsay at the time, this time tis a bit different, I was told he actually arrived at the afterparty WITH Molly sims, so a bit different love!
