ITs not a MAN! She was taking male hormones and got her breasts removed! its not a pregnant man! its just a woman w/ no boobs and facial hair!

This is totally immoral in every possible angle there is. I am pretty open minded about the concept of homosexuality but this is way out of control. Poor child. She is a woman. She said that she felt like a man and wanted to change her body to be a man. Then why did she not have all her female reproductive organs taken out to totally eliminate her womanhood. She is ambiguous. A normal man can not ever be pregnant. If she wanted to be a man and to live a life of a man, it follows the natural consequence of life that men dont get pregnant. Sure it is her right to have her own biological child. Then why did she not do artificial insemination prior to making all these physical changes to her body. Have the child when she still looked female and spare the child the life of constant scrutity of her parents sexuality. She waited until she fully looked like a man to get pregnant. This is a freak show of magnanimous proportion.

@ 82. It’s not a big deal, you’re right, it’s just a woman who got pregnant. The reason why it’s a “big deal” is because people keep parading the story like a REAL man is having a baby - which isn’t the case. I think that’s also what pissed people off.

i feel sorry for the child who will be born from this… what is happening to this world. its sooooo horrible what ppl r doing. people need some morals and religion and values. i wish ppl like this could be stoped

Come on people…most of these comments are very ignorant and closed minded. The world we live in today has changed significantly and there are many different types of families. I am a straight woman and although I wouldn’t choses the lifestyle ( that this couple was born into) for myself… I can respect peoples differences. As a teacher I can honestly say that children need love and guidance and if that is what this couple can give to their child when she is born then she will turn out to be a fine adult. There are many lesbian and gay couples that have adopted children and the child is raised with two moms or two dads. This couple will raise their child with a mom and a dad, and the fact that the dad gave birth will not be the center of their life. The only part of this entire story that bothers me is that they have gone public to make money. It is obviously a way to promote his book and now different magazines will be fighting to be the first to purchase the pictures when the child is born, those pics. will be worth a lot of money! If they wanted less hassle they shouldn’t have gone public.

Oh, please, I can’t take it any more. Even my poor little dog is confused over this one. The world is already weird enough, please tell me we don’t have to accept this one too.
