Jamie Lynn’s Bumpin’ Birthday Bash
Casey Aldridge takes his pregnant fiancee Jamie Lynn Spears to Ruby Tuesday for her 17th birthday dinner in McComb, Mississippi on Friday.
Jamie Lynn’s favorite present appeared to be the sparkler on her ring finger which she showed off to photogs.
“I love it,” the Zoey 101 star told paparazzi.
Earlier in the day, the young couple was seen doing some shopping at bargain basement superstore Wal-Mart.

What is she doing, she should stay hidden for at least a year and the world can forget about the baby!!! Then in a few years time she can relaunch her career and the world will never hear of the baby again, it will be as if it never exsisted…they should give it to one of their many relatives.

Does anyone else find it Ironic that Lynne always wanted a Daughter that she could teach and nurture, and she failed both her daughters instead the only child she had that turned out alright was Brian and that’s probably because he was an adult when all this started, Brit Brit was an impressionable teen and Jamie Lynn was an even more vunerable child.

I shop as Wal Mart a least once a week. It is one of my favorite stores.

I live in Indiana and the only grocery stores we ahve with a 50 mile radius is Wal*mart. And not everything is cheap. And what’s there to do when your pregant and have a birthday. Eating is what pregnant people do best!! :D
I’ll admit when I first saw these pictures it made me really sad. But I will give her credit for having the child because like someone else said ..she could have easily had an abortion without anyone knowing. It will be interesting to see how things unfold.

to those who asked what is wrong with Wal Mart? they exploit labor, are religious zealot based, discrimiate against people of color and women, offer low wages and then resell the low cost items to said low cost workers, thus keeping their employees and customers secured with one easy dollar. They import massive amounts of items which are known to be made by exploited labor in other countries such as China , and overall have contributed to the cheaper, bigger, more - consumerist mentallity which has cost the USA dignity, value and morals.

I think that the Walmart/Ruby Tuesday issue is a non-issue.
I don’t care where the girl eats/shops or whatever. I do care though that she could be perceived as a role model for teens engaging in unprotected sex,and deciding to keep a baby. Her baby will clearly never want for nothing, but most teens are not equipped to deal with a baby financially not to mention emotionally.
As a teen you are selfish and self-absorbed which is fine if you only have to worry about yourself.
I agree with #61 that aborting is the mature responsible thing to do, but even more mature is to not get yourself pregnant in the first place.

ruby tuesdays & wal-mart, both in the same day. wow - they really are wt. i dont have anywhere near the money she has & would never go into either a ruby tuesday or wal-mart. target yes, but not wall-mart. also, its the girls birthday, couldn’t they have stepped it up to at least the cheasecake factory or pf changs. there are a lot of good medium priced chain restaurants out there.
i went to wal-mart once & it was so disgusting & it had cheap (as in ****** poor made low quality) products. sorry but that was my experience. i totally love target although i admit it isn’t a discount store where you are going to find bargains. i am also really picky about restaurants as i go out to eat for the ambience & good quality food. i am fine with islands or even rubys diner for some occasions & other times obviously want to go somewhere nicer. however, they are teens. i wold never go to TGIF now as i think the food is disgusting & they all need to be remodeled but so loved it in high school & college. We have to remember that they are kids.
I am not against teenpregnancy, but on the other hand, all young people shall gain knowledge as much as possible. How will we teach our children if we do not know anything? Life does not end when we are 30. Life starts when we are 30.

And the walmart thing. If I want to buy a dvd I can spend 25 dollars at FYE or 18 dollars at wallmart. Why waste 7 dollars? Coke products are all the same to me. Why pay 5 dollars at walgreens when I get 2/6 at walmart? The clothes are average - good for doing day-to-day things.
I like walmart for their cheap kid clothes. My child can easily stain up a macy’s outfit just as quickly as a walmart outfit. The differnece is 10-20 dollars.

First off, She lives in Kentwood. It’s tiny ! The population barely hits over 2000 people…Obviously there isn’t access to a 5 star resturant or club to hang out at.
I live in a small town as well, and Wal Mart is as big as it gets (as sad as it sounds.) It’s not her fault she lives in a tiny place.
Then, there’s the fact that she’s 6 months pregnant. In three months she will be popping out a living thing ! She’s obviously worn out and exhausted, a quiet night out is perfect for her. Excuse her for not wanting to go out and party with a baby in her stomach. As if it’s not enough to be hassled by paparazzi when she’s already overwhelmed with all these new changes.
Keep in mind that she could have used protection and it failed. Although she made the mistake, she could have dealt with the situation in an immature way and aborted the baby, but she kept it and took responsibility for her actions. Even knowing that her life would turn to complete and utter hell with the constant attention from the media. Imagine being pregnant at 16 and having to fight your way into the car through a crowd of pushy people taking tons of pictures of your pregnant belly when you feel terrible, worn out and irritated.
