Cook, i’m sorry memphis couldn’t pull it out  . It was still a good game. Are you working tonight?Just wanted to say goodnight. You seemed distant earlier, is anything different? I really miss you and love you. I’ll talk to you whenever…
Oooops, I mean… SALONGA.
There is this obsession over his marriage and divorce that many sites just won’t let go. Never seen anything like it!
awwww….add lea solonga to ‘the list’ I loved her in Miss Saigon.

I saw Brad and watched the NCAA championships. The owner ’s son, of the gym where I work out, plays for Kansas. He broke his knee and didn’t play tonight, but they introduced him afterwards. I know the dad will be talking about this for a long time. Peace

When you make some remarks about X, you make her look like a star.
>>>>>>>
I understand what you are saying, that the opposite of love is indifference. So, I confess, I’m not indifferent to X. I enjoy making fun of x alot. How can I possibly be indifferent?
But there is a difference, don’t you think, when:
(a) someone sees a new boy in a movie and rushes over to a Brad thread to proclaim that this new boy is better looking than Brad;
(b) someone sees a new starlet on TV and rushes over to proclaim that this new starlet is even better looking than Angelina;
and
(c) me, who sees the Hilary Swank, or Ryan Philippe’s or Kylie Minogue’s or whoever is the divorcing/ splitting up star de jure’s interview about her/his respective marriages and divorces and leave a remark that none of them are as big a VICTIM as Jennifer??

#403 so bizarre @ 04/07/2008 at 11:58 pm There is this obsession over his marriage and divorce that many sites just won’t let go. Never seen anything like it!

Not only tabloids and many sites won’t let go, but many of their fans too. They are also responsible for keeping this triangle story alive. They always seem to bring up the x.
neer @ 04/07/2008 at 11:14 pm I want to share this with you because it feels good knowing that somebody who herself is intelligent, famous, accomplished & regarded as a very good role model in the Philippines also looks up to Angelina Jolie.
Excerpts from Manila Bulletin, p. D-8, March 26, 2008:
Among celebrity men & women - who is sexy to you & why?
“…ANGELINA JOLIE. Intelligence, motherhood, an all-embracing compassion, big soulful eyes, and the most beautiful lips on any human.” — LEA SALONGA (Internationally acclaimed Filipino stage actress/singer who won a Tony, Laurence Olivier, Outer Critics Circle, Theater World, etc.)
*********************
I love her soulful eyes, too.
Though Japanese movie magazines repeat US tabloid stories
every month their reader’s poll shows Angie is the most popular HW actress. She won her third annual No.1 HW actress title this year.
They don’t care Brad’s ex as no one care Johnny Depp’s first wife.
Missouri Fan , that was so beautifully tender. The song was really sweet. I don’t have a youtube account so I have to comment here. Peace
Goodnight Bampzsville! :)
see everyone tomorrow…

Love you Brad. Can’t wait to see the show on Wednesday.
The HAGS who have negative things to say about Brad do so out of genuine sorrow and frustration. Their secert hope for a renuion with x is finally, clearly coming to an end. PAIN manifests it’s self as anger and bitterness.
angelina is very famous and well loved in asia than she is is here in the US. Strange that asian are considered more conservative and yet they don’t judge angelina as much as the americans do.
The X should be blame for this obsession. Tom and nicole never had this kind of obsession because nicole got more class.
THAT IS CORRECT @ 04/08/2008 at 12:29 am
The fans only bring up the X in defense to the bashing the family is getting. Brad had definitely moved on. The only one who has not moved on is his ex and her fans. It is obvious who is to be blame.
WOW! Who ever made this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RoLDK3UqPDQ is really special. She’s so talented.
Love the video, the pix in it and who ever made it :D the song is brilliant!
Well Done to you Xena233 :) :)
Blessings to the Jolie-Pitt Family.

The efforts that have ensued in towns and cities such as New Orleans and Biloxi for example, have been dramatic, impressive and truly uplifting. What’s more, the regeneration and restoration efforts are reaching the awareness of individuals around the world who have been invited and encouraged to get involved by the Government of the United States which offers significant financial and taxation incentives to all those willing to invest in housing related projects within the GO Zone.
One of the highest profile names to get involved with the efforts to reconstruct homes in the GO Zone is Hollywood actor, Brad Pitt.
From day one Brad Pitt saw a very real need to get practically involved with rebuilding in the GO Zone because of the size of the effort required; he also saw that someone needed to bring awareness to the communities, as well as those responsible for regenerating them, that new homes need to be constructed not only cost effectively and swiftly, but ecologically and environmentally consciously as well.
Brad Pitt’s humanitarian and environmental efforts through his ‘Make it Right’ charitable foundation have certainly helped to maintain international concentrated awareness on the GO Zone, and they have gone a long way towards ensuring that the restoration, regeneration and reconstruction of devastated communities happens in as ‘green’ and sustainable a manner as possible.
One of the initial questions asked by critics of individuals such as Brad Pitt who immediately began plans to physically reconstruct housing in the hurricane affected zones was: ‘is it wise to rebuild housing in areas of the country likely to again be affected by high winds and high tides?’ In response, critics are not only invited to meet displaced residents of these communities who yearn desperately to be able to return home and rebuild their lives, they are asked to review the construction methods and materials being used by those regenerating the GO Zone.

GREEN LIVING
SPRING-BREAKERS POURING IN TO HELP ‘GREEN’ HOLY CROSS
Saturday, March 08, 2008
By Molly Reid
Before Katrina, New Orleans enjoyed a lovely, lazy period of spring downtime between the hubbub of Carnival and, in late April, the joy of Jazzfest.
Post-Katrina, however, another busy period has sprung up in the mid-March to mid-April time slot: It’s spring-break volunteer season.
For the third year in a row, volunteers young and old are expected to descend upon New Orleans, armed with donated tools, matching T-shirts and plenty of goodwill. And this year, a substantial chunk of them will be volunteering specifically on green-related projects.

More than 300 young professionals and students in design and construction, along with faculty chaperones, will work in Holy Cross for a two-week event called Historic Green, which starts today and runs through March 23. Historic Green is the inaugural event of a long-term initiative called Spring Greening, which is working with the Holy Cross Neighborhood Association and the Lower 9th Ward Center for Sustainable Engagement and Development to meet their goal of making the rebuilt neighborhood carbon-neutral by 2020 and climate-neutral by 2030.
Carbon neutrality eliminates a home’s or region’s carbon emissions through green technology and building practices; climate neutrality does the same but for all greenhouse gases, not just carbon. It is worth noting that many environmentalists acknowledge that both are symbolic goals, rather than verifiable finish lines.
As Holy Cross is the first New Orleans neighborhood to set such lofty goals, the Spring Greening initiative has attracted great interest, both in volunteers and support, for this first event. (Volunteer registration already has closed due to the high response.) The event is being sponsored by a slew of national and local bodies, including virtually every environmental organization in New Orleans, and is being organized by a team of representatives around the country in partnership with the two Holy Cross organizations.

(Interesting article on Bono and how he is able to raise funds. Highlights below. Entire article at link)
Why Bono is the ‘master manipulator’
Donna Jacobs, The Ottawa Citizen
Published: Monday, April 07, 2008
Many celebrities, for example Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, give their own money; the Jolie Pitt Foundation donated $8 million in 2006, including $1 million to Doctors Without Borders. Brad Pitt’s Make It Right Foundation aims to rebuild New Orleans’ Lower 9th Ward from Hurricane Katrina’s devastation.
Bono doesn’t give his own money, says University of Waterloo political science professor Andrew F. Cooper. What the musician gives is time and work, his fame and, he says, his “stubbornness” — digging money out of other people’s pockets and out of national treasuries to help Africa and to forgive Third World debt.
Mr. Sachs was “amply repaid,” says Mr. Cooper, when Bono wrote the forward to Mr. Sach’s bestselling book The End of Poverty. Mr. Sachs also travelled to Kenya with Angelina Jolie — another fact-getter in her job as UN High Commissioner for Refugees, which helps 20 million refugees in 120 countries.
“You’d wake up in the morning and as the mist would be lifting, you’d see thousands and thousands of people who’d been walking all night to our food station,” Bono recounted.
“You’d walk out of your tent and you’d count bodies of dead and abandoned children. Or worse, the father of a child would walk up to you and try to give you his living child and say, ‘You take it, because if this is your child, it won’t die.’
“My experience there was very hard to forget, but … I did.
“We went back to our daily life in Ireland and me being in a band, but we’d always hoped we might be able to look at the structure of the problem. There’s a certain kind of poverty that is structural, not just misfortune, and so when I heard about this plan to use the millennium as an opportunity to give the poorest countries a chance to start again (with their international debt forgiven), I thought, ‘This is major, and it’s the right thing to do’.”
yeah!so true bdj.thanks lovely.good morning everyone on board!

Spring in New Orleans is something like nirvana for music lovers, as several eclectic festivals - one arguably among the country’s biggest and best - offer untold hours’ worth of great performances by artists from the Crescent City and beyond. Not to mention opportunities to savor the exotic cuisine, historic sites and unique culture that’s home to the region, still recovering from the physical devastation and emotional distress wrought by Hurricane Katrina and its watery aftermath.

Ricky’s ladies are a knockout

BOXING is not traditionally known for bringing out stylish ladies in their droves.
But there’s something about charismatic Manchester boxing hero Ricky Hatton that seems to have won over even the girliest girlies to the contact sport.
Just think back to Ricky’s last big fight in Las Vegas - style queens packed into the ringside seats including chief WAG Coleen McLoughlin and movie babe Angelina Jolie.

++++++++++
Because X was not famous in Asia, and was totally unknown for most asian, we see the divorce just like the other 80% of HW marriage which doesn’t work or 50 % of american marriage that went kaput or 30-40% divorce in developed countries. We tend to judge that divorce in a more unbiased way .
