Orlando Bloom is the Prince of Persia

I like orlando bloom and i’ve clocked all the prince of persia games..and true they may be a little repetitive but i still like them and obviously when they make them into movies they wont be like that. I’m still not that sure though that orlando bloom can pull off the role….he was pretty good on pirates of the caribbean but i dunno he seems too delicate and not manly enough to play the role..hes a good looking actor no question bout it..but if youve played the game and you know the peince of persia character you’d see what i mean

I don´t really like him as an actor but he´s the right choice for the part.

(On another note, I do believe that he is one of those actors, who will have to grow into his looks first, loose the babyface and all that….he´ll be fne later on)

Orlando Bloom is the right choice. He is a seasoned actor who draws all ages and Zac Efron is just drawing the teenie-boppers. This movies needs to draw an adult crowd and Bloom can do that as we have seen in the past. Not sure yet if Efron is that great of an actor…..once he breaks that HSM stuff maybe then he will land some real meaty roles. Needs to shed that little boy image. Did love him in Hairspray, which was loaded with major talent!

Well Zac, welcome to the real world of grown-ups where those stunning blue eyes and good looks are not quite enough to land major roles. Time will tell as he finally steps away from that cheesy HSM stuff if he is ready for the big times. i love him but the count is out on just how talented he is as an actor….still very young and too connected to all the teenage idol and celebrity girlfriend nonsense.

nikii, me too, but I bet a big budget movie would want a Star instead of an Actor, to make sure it will do good at the box office. No one REALLY believes that a movie like PoP will require serious acting. The special effects, action scenes and handsome faces will sell the movie, and OB has experience showing those. IF he would accept that role. ‘Cause it still is an officially denied rumour, remember?

BTW, here in the Eastern half of Europe ZE is unknown. Only Hairspray is known widely of everything he’s done, and most people who have seen it, don’t remember his name.

Just wanna add, the old version of the PoP game had a blond prince in it. :) Was kinda weird, but I stopped asking for logic in any branch of entertainment business long ago.

Funny how this POP movie rumour pops up out of no where–as Cinemablend AND Disney have both noted–the very monday after Bloom is seen leaving another party with 3 women, none of whom is his alleged gf the panty model. On the same day she’s telling her favorite Oz tab their solid and “happy” together.
