Reese Witherspoon (in L.A.M.B.) is nothing but smiles during the taping of the American Idol special, Idol Gives Back, at the Kodak Theatre on Sunday in Hollywood.

V, i simply enjoy in classical music, and for the first time i am completely agree with you, in your last post you sound like person with high education, who appreciate traditional values…
But, when you start talking about corruption, drugs and prostitution, you sound ridiculous !!!
I am not saying that this stuff doesn’ t exsist…
But why torch people with something, they already knew!!!

Every person can have high education. It is necessary only this person have curiosity. Every person has any kind of talent too!
I say to you that you can have success in your life with inteligence and work.
I like modern music too and modern writers I am happy with the tecnology find a solution for difficult problems but I don’t believe that we can have advantages in her life with corruption, or when somebody sell yourself. The society has only trouble with these kind of people…
It is a pity that you don’t believe. You are very young, aren’t you?
You don’t have children or relatives whose are children or in a big or small city you are never been victim of a mugged.

I am not that young, believe me!!! In Croatia were i was born, it is not that simple to find a good job, not even with a high education, i finished good and very qualified high school, after that i make little pause, doing things which make me happy. Now i study law at university, which is very hard and this site is only getaway from cruel reality…
What about you, tell me something about yourself ?

I am economist but I studyed lot of years ago. I have a very beautiful and inteligent daughter. I live in Europa but I lived in several places of Europa and South America too.
Nowadays I don’t work because I have very old grandmother whose is 96 years old. She lives in other country and she has lot of servant, maids and very good friends whose take care when she has some problem.
If something happen I must take the airplane quickly to take care when she will go to hospital.

V, You are very lucky man, you travel around Europe, and you meet various people, and you learn their customs, i always love to travel, but i never been anywhere except in Spain and Italy.

I am not a man I am a woman. I am older as you. You know several beutiful countries. Spain and Italy are marvelous. I would like to live like my grandmother she lives in the same house just 70 years. She knows all her neighbors. She saw when their children growed up…
Live in several places isn’t good. You lost your friends when you go. I cried when I must go awy of some cities..
My daughter is teenager. She is a marvelous but she isn’t sweat like in the past.

My life is so simple, i grow up in little town on Adriatic coast called Split, it is beautiful town, especially in summer, when tourist make him alive…
I always love to travel and research unknown countries, but i also appreciate cultural values, for example my mum enjoys in painting, she adores a german expressionism and she is quite good.
I always loved kids, i hope i will have one…
Sorry for think that your a man!!! V confused me!!!

I know why you thought I am a men. Solaris have thought the same. I had lot of influence of my father and the both grandfather. They had a big personality. There was a grandfather whose teach how to read. The other one help me in school when I had problems with mathematic etc…When they died they let money for me not have dificulties in life. My husband bought a book about diferences between man and woman whose was a bild that only man could see and the woman coulf see this bild in other way.
The result was that I saw the bild that only man could see!!!
Probable I had absorbed the mentality of man when I was a child!!!

Split is this town where the palace of roman emperor Dioclecianus had, isn’t it?

I start to read in kirdengarden, God, how much i hate him… Children used to tease me because of glases.. haha.

Yes, the Diocletian Palace is in Split, it is very nice, i live only twenty minutes far from her, the whole city square is surround with walls, called Peristil, Vestibul, Golden and Silver gates, the whole town looks pretty old, to someone who lived there for ages, but tourist love him…
I mean the german exspressionisim, Otto Mueller, Kirchner and others.

I never think that you are a man ;-)! Anyway, I agree with you that 21 century is a decadence for art! If you love classical so much, try to see “My Immortal Beloved”, with Gary Oldman. Beautiful, moving, lovely film. It made me weep….
About art, true to my kind, I am a huge fan of Casper David Friedrich. A little bit melancholy, I know. Edward Hopper I love too. Yes, Melancholy.

Let’s just agree to disagree. You do not like Reese, I do not like the way you talk about her. But since you like Audrey Hepburn, I think we can get along fine. You know what I call Hepburn? One of the Giants, who gave meaning to “H” as in Hollywood.

You ar so strong too when you talk but I must say you that the dificuties in life take part. We can be artists if we give solutions for their problems or overcome them.
Try to forget the souvenirs of kindergarten. When we don’t have problem with our health is a big problem.
It seems like the war didn’t destroy lot of things in Split, don’t you?
I had knowed my 2 great- grandmother too.
I like a lot roman civilization. Perhaps when my daughter will be independent and older I will study again archeology.

The american prominent don’t help the people.
There was a serious statistic in Irak and the result of this statistic is that 150.000 people are victims of violence of war.
In Guatemala more them 5000 children are kidnapping every year and the american turists are involved in this crime. This problem in Guatemala is so strong that lot of countries forbit adoption from children of this country.
The soldier of UNO must go out of Somalia because they abuse the woman over there. The woman changed sex for a little bit food…
The orphanage of Africa and Asia soffer a kind of histery at present because the parents have wish when they give their children over there …that a Angelina Jolie or Madonna go to adoption their children…
Conclusion:
It is better way for the american do sometihing for the people.

The whole Croatia is based on roman history, In Pula other big city on adriatic coast, we have large Arena, which looks exactly like biggest arena in Verona, every year in summer, we have a film festival there.. Croatia had very large influence of old Bizant, Greek and Venezia also.
We have such strong culture, but when the war started, everything lost their glow….
V, My town was attacaked from the sea and air, but thanks God, that lasted too short, i was fourteen and in love, and i wasn’ t so sure, what is going on… The only thing that i remember, is that i always running to shelter, and that we didn’t go to school..

And V leave Jakey and Reese alone, Solaris is right!!! LOL

It is very easy! You must things like a prostitute to see how the unfair plays of Reese Witherspoon.

I saw these film “My Immortal Beloved” for 10 years ago. My daughter was a child when she saw this film with me and she liked very much too. It was beautiful this part that Beethoven run away of his house at night because his drunk father hited him and he was in a see whose made a reflex of stars . It seems like he was one of this stars. Gary Oldman was astonish with the condutor Georg Solti. He said that Solti was always sick and he complained about his all illness but when he worked as condutor he transformed in another men!!!
My daughter plays one music in piano of Beethoven, Pathétique, very well…
I play lot of music of him too…

I come from Germany. There are still some old buildings (historical buildings) which are not destroyed from the war. The old apartment buildings are magic to me. With small details here and there.
I have a book about ancient cities, unfortunately your city is not included. I love them all. Especially the cities of Greece….

Casper David Friedrich died long time ago. He painted landscape most of the time. But the colors he used and the nuance he created made me able to cry from time to time. And the loneliness that was captured by Hopper was so clear it can hurt not only your eyes, but also your skin.

I would like to discuss with you at any time, but only if you base your argument with facts. I do not understand how you can project your private feelings towards Jake and Reese. Maybe you like Dunst or Phillipe so much that you can not bare to see somebody hurt them.

I say that after french revolution and Russian Revolution lot of aristocrats began practice prostitution to live. Look the aristocrats in Germany nowadays. The most of them are poor. There are some exceptions like Gloria Thurn und Taxis or Herzog Würtemberg.

Solaris, this is coindicence!!!. My brother adores Andrei Tarakovski, he wached Solaris so many times, he spend some time in New York were we have cousin, who help him a lot, and he finished school about movie directing, he made his first and only movie in Arizona desert, school lasted only for year, and he have to back home because of green card….. Now he is here, doing job which doesn’ t pleasant him…He always love to work with cameras, he love movies, especially european art movies…If you knew some people, in Berlin who works on film, i will be graetfull, and i promise you, i will take you anywhere you want…. Summer will be great time of year for that!!!!
