Angelina Jolie Joins the Washington Club
A radiant Angelina Jolie greets and signs autographs for fans as she leaves the Washington Club in Washington D.C. on Tuesday.
The 32-year-old pregnant humanitarian took time out of her busy schedule to speak at the “”Iraq, Education, And Children Of Conflict” forum before the Council on Foreign Relations. (Angie joined the council last summer.)
“Angelina Jolie is accomplished in her field and has demonstrated serious interest in issues such as Darfur, international education and refugees,” Lisa Shields, vice president of communications at CFR, has said. “As such, her profile fits very well with other young professionals we’ve selected as the next generation of foreign policy leaders.”

I agree - you can be a fan without being fanatic. Sometimes I think the anonymity of the internet makes people forget their manners.

Why do you have so much anger in you?
You are a gifted writer and a great Jolie-Pitt fan, but you have a terrible temper, and you can’t deny that.
If you get a handle of that ANGER, you will be able to accomplish so much more and people will actually want to read your posts.
Yes, sometimes you are unfairly attacked because you are so loud and so rude, and yes there are some others here that are plain sneaky and cruel, but you have got to tone down and not jump on everyone that you slightly perceive disagreeing with you and/or disagreeing with the JP’s.
Like I said, you are a very good writer, and DEFENDER #1 of the Jolie-Pitts, but you need to show slow down and not be so all over the place yelling at everybody. We never know when you’re gonna go off and explode. Come on sis, lighten up. You’re taking life too seriously.
JARED is the best Brad and Angie blog site.
Even the haters as wells as PAID trolls pretending as fans who are crucifying Jared by saying such things as “this blog no longer belongs to Jared” and in fact are encouraging people to desert this site can’t just stop posting here.

I’m glad things are going well in ohio. i would gladly go to smithville to see what’s up. it is about 3 or 4 hours away. of course i would like some compensation from brad. wink wink. my dad is having to have more steroids and retaining water so they are trying to make sure it doesn’t lead to pnemonia. so i would appreciate prayers his way. hugs.

I’m sorry to hear that about your dad, as always good thoughts and prayers are on their way to Texas. Because I didn’t start posting until a couple of months ago, I don’t know exactly what is wrong, some idea but if you want to share, I don’t want to pry.

Wonder if Brad and family will go to LA or NO when he finishes? Or just may across the ocean? I would think maybe NO so he can oversee the construction of homes, however, wonder if Angie is going to do any RC for “the Panda movie”. One thing for sure, we will not know until they pop up!
Brad’s parents should be so proud of him and glad he is with Angie. Doug Pitt has become motivated to help others. Loved the video of Doug being interview on local tv show. This would not have happen if he was with anyone esle.

anoble, my dad has had open heart surgery , stints, he has had a stroke,he has a pacemaker/defibrillator, he has diabetes, he has c.o.p.d., he has permanant nerve damage from a case of the shingles that has left him with chronic pain, and he is on oxygen 24/7. when i say he is an amazing man i mean it. he is on so many meds i am surprised he isn’t in a coma. even with all of that he worries if i look tired. he is an amazing father and grandfather. he is a self made man who put himself through flight school to become a pilot and a flight instructor and then a private pilot to a dallas businessman. i am very proud of him. thank you for asking.

sorry for prying - as I said before prayers are on their way, he definitely doesn’t need pneumonia on top of all of that. Talk about taking a licking and still ticking. You have every right to be proud. That is a lot for one person to take. I hope that I didn’t upset you for asking, I just came in at the wrong time and hated to ask before. Working in a hospital I see some very amazing older people everyday, they have such wonderful stories and lives.

I am not an American and I live in a foreign land. But I can tell you this … JUSTJARED is a good forum for learning English and quite fun to read.
But of course at times, some of the English being written here is as bad as hell. But who I am to criticize? I am not a native English speaker, just a foreigner trying to learn English.
Thank you to all excellent posters here like Passing Through, Cliniqua, African Girl, Elena, piper with a low, cindy2, lylian, Besane, dragonfly, Gussie, Gitane, CMAR, Dina#1, and so many more. I hope I will be forgiven for failing to specifically mention all of the excellent ladies in here.
Thank you all ladies. Because of your generosity in expressing your thoughts, I learn to appreciate English better. I hope I could master it someday.
Ohmygawd, I had no idea my post would generate so many posts and and so much discussions. But that is a good thing because all of the discussion has positivie. I want to thank those of you, PT, O2, vickiefromtexas and others who furnished the correct sequence of events concerning Brad’ trips to Africa. Okay now off to something else. Peace
