So true, very true. She could get into her range rover and remember to fill it up with gas and hopefully pay for car insurance but she could not remember to use birth control while living like a grown women at the age of 16. She has doctors able to give her bc pills or she could drive her range rover to wal-mart and buy condoms.
I think they hope to save her image by marrying her off to this guy so Lynne Spears could continue to make money off her cash cow. I hope hollywood never hires her for another role. She should stay home and raise her baby and stay out of the streets.

I hope she gets a pre-nup. I liked her in Miss-Guided. She could actually have a career.

I think you all need to kinda lay off - she could have had protected sex - its called maybe vomitting or having diahorrea whilst on the pill or a condom breaks ect ect use your brain!!! At least shes not some teen who is out getting drunk and still having sex!!! This is yes a little girl pregnant but what kids arent having sex at 16!!! And its easy for all of you to sit back but and criticise but until your in a position such as her’s you cant really talk the talk!!!!

I think at freaking 15 and 16 she should not have engage in sex at all. Put me down for that one.

Your own teens could be having sex. Jamie Lynn just happened to get caught. And you don’t know that she wasn’t protecting herself. At this point, all she can do is be responsible and take good care of her child. Some women twice her age don’t take good care of their kids.

I really think she’s setting a bad example and that it’s not right for her to be pregnant at 17, but i think we should show her some support.

So….how about everyone saves their comments about what a horrible mother she is and how stupid she is until after she fails at motherhood. She has yet to do ANYTHING wrong. I bet at least 95% of the bloggers on this website have had unprotected sex and thanked god they didn’t get knocked up by certain people. It is as if you would respect her so much more if she had a beating heart ripped out of her….literally. I think the engagement is not necessary….I am not saying any of this will work. But, she was handed a difficult situation and is dealing with it. I applaud Jamie Lynn.

people should just leave her alone…lots of teenagers get pregnant everyday and some make the decision to take the easy way out and kill another life while others take responsibility and have the baby. i myself am 18 and pregnant with my first child due in august…im at a 4 year university and im going to continue going to school…just becuase someone gets pregnant does not mean its the end. just because shes famous does not make her any different from all the other teenagers that get pregnant…get over it and get a life!
