Jamie Lynn Spears shows off her growing baby bump but keeps things casual in a tee and short shorts in Kentwood, Louisiana on Tuesday.
The 17-year-old pregnant Nickelodeon star was seen leaving “Connie’s Jewelry & Gifts” before she hopped into her Range Rover. It’s rumored that Jamie Lynn’s due date is July 10th.
Currently in the rumor mill: mama Lynne Spears wants Jamie Lynn to sign a pre-nup. Will baby daddy Casey Alridge sign?

I feel like this about the situation. I feel yea she is young. Guess what I am a good example of a young mother who was pregnant at 16 and had her baby at 17. I stood up and became a mother at that age, and may I add did a darn good job! I had my 2nd child at 19 and took care of her too! I am now 23 yrs old married…homeschool parent of 4 kids..
ages 6 yrs old daughter, 4 yr old daughter, 2 yr old son, and 5 month old daughter. I love my kids and husband. And no we dont collect of welfare. I work online as a travel agent and my husband runs his own business(computer). I believe she can be a good parent and I believe maybe she will become more of a better parent thant her sister and mother. Though recent pics and news have shown That Britany is a good mother its just her parents have screwed her up. And now I see Britany as being a good mother as of now! Maybe things will start better for this truely messed up family!

well i think jaime needs some slack. she has been put through enough and she is an awesome person no matter what happens. she will be an awesome mother. she is a sweet person and her beautiful baby will love her. and everybody else should.

Chill out. Sooo many teens get pregnant, if this was your best friend you’d be supportive, but because shes famous you guys are ragging on her. Maybe she did use a condom but it broke, maybe she was on birth control but it didn’t work. Neither are sure fire ways to prevent pregnancy. At least she has taken responsibility for it and didn’t kill the baby. So take a pill and back off.

I can’t believe where the age of consent in Louisiana is 17 that she can openly walk around pregnant and the DA isn’t filing charges against her adult boyfriend knowing full well she was 16 when she got pregnant.

Okay! This is ridiculous for the people out there that is acting in disgust. Have any of you looked around lately, on how many young girls are getting pregnant…. I mean she isnt the first young person. And yes I understand that she is famous and is in a lot of people’s eyes suppose to be a role model and that’s probably why you are acting this way but if you have forgotten she is still only human no matter how priveledged she may be or well educated, she is only human. She did something that resulted in becoming pregnant but atleast she is doing the right thing. And for doing this to trap her boyfriend into marriage I dont think that was on her mind. This was an honest mistake and I think what she is doing is great. I give her credit. She is trying to rectify a uncomfortable situation.
She is doing what she think she is best for her unborn child. I think that all of you should lay off of her because it is not right for you to judge her. Everyone makes mistakes and its what we do to rectify the mistakes that count. And Im glad she didn’t get an abortion like alot of these teens do because that doesnt change the fact that it happened it just takes an innocent babies life.
Being a mother is not easy, especially a young mom and I think she has a lot of courage doing it along with all these other young people. Yes I agree she shouldnt have had sex so young or out of marriage but we all make mistakes. But you shouldnt look down on her for it. She still is a role model she is showing people that even when life throws you hard balls that you can make the best out of it. And not to run away because u made a big mistake that alot of people aren’t going to agree with…. So just back off and stop being so judgemental and hypocrites really….
