Jamie Lynn Spears shows off her growing baby bump but keeps things casual in a tee and short shorts in Kentwood, Louisiana on Tuesday.
The 17-year-old pregnant Nickelodeon star was seen leaving “Connie’s Jewelry & Gifts” before she hopped into her Range Rover. It’s rumored that Jamie Lynn’s due date is July 10th.
Currently in the rumor mill: mama Lynne Spears wants Jamie Lynn to sign a pre-nup. Will baby daddy Casey Alridge sign?

Okay! This is ridiculous for the people out there that is acting in disgust. Have any of you looked around lately, on how many young girls are getting pregnant…. I mean she isnt the first young person. And yes I understand that she is famous and is in a lot of people’s eyes suppose to be a role model and that’s probably why you are acting this way but if you have forgotten she is still only human no matter how priveledged she may be or well educated, she is only human. She did something that resulted in becoming pregnant but atleast she is doing the right thing. And for doing this to trap her boyfriend into marriage I dont think that was on her mind. This was an honest mistake and I think what she is doing is great. I give her credit. She is trying to rectify a uncomfortable situation.
She is doing what she think she is best for her unborn child. I think that all of you should lay off of her because it is not right for you to judge her. Everyone makes mistakes and its what we do to rectify the mistakes that count. And Im glad she didn’t get an abortion like alot of these teens do because that doesnt change the fact that it happened it just takes an innocent babies life.
Being a mother is not easy, especially a young mom and I think she has a lot of courage doing it along with all these other young people. Yes I agree she shouldnt have had sex so young or out of marriage but we all make mistakes. But you shouldnt look down on her for it. She still is a role model she is showing people that even when life throws you hard balls that you can make the best out of it. And not to run away because u made a big mistake that alot of people aren’t going to agree with…. So just back off and stop being so judgemental and hypocrites really….

I got pregnant with my first when I was 15 and guess what, I WORKED MY A$$ OFF TO MAKE SURE MY DAUGHTER HAS EVERYTHING SHE NEEDS AND LOTS OF LOVE. My daughter is a very smart young girl who is living proof that a younger person can raise a happy healthy child. and to be honest I;ve seen more adults be ****** parents than i have teens. Im not saying that teens should go get pregnant, It prefered that they play safe but birth control doesn’t always work(I learned the hard way) and mistakes happen, Lets all start to show more support to teenagers and better educate them. Where I used to live there was a program where teen parents go around to the high schools and talk about lives with a baby and I think that it gets the point across alot better then wear a condom and hope for the best. Maybe cable networks like HBO or ShowTime will have a spin-off, adult-themed, series from Jamie Lynn’s Nickelodeon series: “Zoey 101, How to Make Babies”. Spears would be in college and show what kinds of social situations it takes, AND FOR GIRLS TO AVOID! to make babies.
Some seriously strong opinions here. Jamie Spears is not the first young woman to get pregnant. I don’t know if she did or did not, but I would hope she thought about it first and it wasn’t some accident. Theres even a TV show called Baby Borrowers where teenagers who THINK they want kids join and borrow a child from another couple. The teens usually learn in that experience how much is actually involved in raising a child. its more than money too, Jamie, its love and patience.

I agree with #16, Natx3. Seriously she’s not having an abortion, she’s taking responsibility and being mature about it. Everyone needs to grow up and get over it. Life goes on. So many teenagers get pregnant and she’s just getting all the punches thrown at her because she’s famous. Lay off the poor girl, she’s having a hard enough time as it is without all your opinions being thrown at her. Atleast she had sex with her boyfriend, a long term boyfriend. Many teens today just have random sex with people and hope they don’t get pregnant. She’s not a horrible person because of this.
