Tom Cruise and Suri Play at the Park
Tom Cruise and his daughter Suri Cruise enjoy a daddy-daughter day at a Los Angeles park on Tuesday, March 25th.
Shiloh Jolie-Pitt and Suri Cruise are two of Hollywood’s most talked about babies and both appear ready to be big sisters.
Earlier this month, Tom Cruise met with former boss Sumner Redstone of Paramount Pictures, who decided not to renew Tom’s contract in 2006.

Maybe the two just stopped at that park on their way to somewhere. I’d seen Suri in pants at a zoo with both her parents. Anyway, their kid is adorable. I love her dress having Paris printed on it.
A dress like that is perfect for garden parties, tea parties, weddings or luncheons but not for a little girl to play in the park. She needs movement freedom and that dress quite restricts her from that. Everything always looks so staged at the Cruises. I wonder whatever happened to the two older adoptive kids. We always see Tom, Katie & Suri and Nicole, Keith and the baby bump but where are the other two kids and why were they kept out of publicity all these years and why does Tom frolics around with Suri so publicly these days - weird people those Cruises.

Well, I know that $38-40 is not alot of $$$ for them- but for most of us- we would save that outfit for a special occassion- NOT a day-trip to the park! She’s overdressed for sure…
Dress in park, don’t think so. At her age children are running and playing. They are actively learning how their body moves and about the world around them. You can tell that she does not look comfortable. Photo opt.

Standing on the perimeter of the playground, more interested in the sand, than the equipment or other children, holding fingers in odd positions were all some of the first signs of autism in my child. This is just a five minute snapshot in time so very hard to judge, but wondering if maybe she is suffering from a form of autism. She does appear to be just a bit disconnected. Hopefully, she is just having an off day. It must be so hard to relax and have fun knowing that strangers are lurking about taking photos. On another note, some little girls just truly prefer to wear dresses. My daughter went through that phase. Now all she wants to wear are jeans.
I’m surprised Tom took her to this park. There are so much nicer parks in LA for children. This one looks grungy and dirty.

She was laughing and acted totally normal. Something has happened since then. I hope Katie didn’t drop her on her head. Katie fell down while wearing 5 inch heels in Paris and was holding Suri when she fell. This was right after Katie was photographed wearing at least 5 inch heels on a dock at the beach. Just a few hours after katie fell and scraped her own knee, she was back in 5 inch boots carrying the baby in the rain. A REAL mother wouldn’t take a chance with her REAL daughter for the sake of “fashion”. Everything about Katie Holmes is FAKE!!!!!

Cruise looks very tired. I mean he has HUGE black circles under his eyes. He must be under a lot of pressure, stress, and is affected by the recent setbacks and failures: Mad Money, Lambs for Lions and now the delay of Valkire.
I just rented Lambs for Lions on DVD and did not like this movie at all despite Redford and Meryl Streep’s participation in the movie. I predict Valkire will also bomb when its released. I bet all of this will put more pressure on his marriage. He might be wealthy but they also spend a lot of money and the only way you can sustain that type of lifestyle is to continue to make successful films.
And now we hear that Nicole Kidman is moving back to California? That must make Katie feel uncomfortable especially after she said that the kids call her mom.
I think Tom Cruise turned off a lot of people with the Morton book, attacking Brooke Sheilds for taking medication, jumping on Oprah’s couch, and those now famous YOUTUBE videos of him promoting Scientology, and the pimping of Suri at so many late night events, and several other missteps. His so called fans and scientology members can defend him all they want but they are not mainstream America. They will be the only ones going to see his movies. He has lost a big chunk of his audience. The movie studies are not gonna want to touch him or Katie Holmes.
The public giveth (fame, fortune, accolades), and the public taketh away (box office dollars, fame, fortune, etc.). I think that is the hardest thing, when you become addicted to the title “the biggest movie star” and then you are no longer that.
I don’t feel sorry for him because he was in a privilieged position and he began to act like he was above it all, he thought he had the answers to everything. Lets see if he can get himself out of this. I doubt it. I’ve said it before, the tide has turned for him.
Wow! This is the first time I have had one of my comments in moderation here at Just Jared. I hope it makes it through because I have noticed that that other website TOMKATCRAZY is really editing people’s comments to a point that it is a waste of time to post one’s opinion. I hope this doesnt happen here at Just Jared. It is good to read both pros and cons of celebrities stories.
And I don’t just say this to Cruise, this is for all celebrities that make tons of money, “appreciate your time and status” because it might not last forever. And even then, you should be grateful for that experience and hopefully you were able to do a lot of good with your celebrity. You don’t have to work the 9 to 5 routine which is okay if you love your job.
I mean look at Kevin Costner. He was one of the hottest stars around in the early 90’s, he had a few missteps and has struggled to regain the success of his earlier movies. But he was able to mass a fortune and if he was smart, invested those dollars. And what can I say about Michael Jackson, his Neverland Ranch was almost sold through foreclosure. I bet if someone would have told Michael Jackson that was gonna happen 10 years ago he would have never believed it.
I see these celebrities and can only think that vast amount of money, fame, and adoration is difficult to manage. It makes you believe you are an exceptional human being. However, the worse part is when the public is no longer interested. When the paparazzi no longer chases after you, that must be very hard especially for narcisstic, egotistic people. I bet if this happens to Paris Hilton, Lindsey Lohan, Britney Spears, etc., who are marginally talented at best, they may even become suicidal.

I mean, you;re not saying anything we already don’t know and that’s blatantly obvious. His conduct in 2005 has seriously damaged his reputation. I think he of all people is aware of that. Even Suri has dark circles under her eyes. She probably stays awake as long as her parents do. Just like John Travolta’s family who says they stay awake almost all night and sleep during the day.
I think this little girl is around more adults than children her own age.
She doesn’t seem to be at ease with other children unlike Violet Affleck who slides down slides and plays freely in a playground like the young child that she is.

I agree. I remember when she was in that park in Germany with Katie. When Katie put her down she was running this way and that way and pointing at the photographers and the sky. Suri looked full of adventure.
In these pictures, she looks like an outsider in this playground. The other kids are on the swings, or standing and playing with something. Suri is hold Cruise’ hand unsure of how to act like a normal child. But she is not being raised like a normal child who can interact with other kids her age. She can only interact with Scientologists. I feel very sorry for Suri. She did not choose her parents or life that has been mapped out for her thanks to Cruise and the Scientologist. Katie will do as she is told. Just like that picture where they are in the Mediterranean sea and Cruise is in the water and motions to her to pass over Suri (into the water). Morton’s Cruise book dropped by publishers

Bosses at a UK publishing company have bowed to pressure from Tom Cruise and dropped Andrew Morton’s controversial biography of the Hollywood actor.
Morton’s expose of the star was published in the US in January but British-based publishers Macmillan have now decided to scrap plans to launch the book in the UK because Cruise forced them to remove so much of the content.
In ‘Tom Cruise: An Unauthorised Biography’, Morton covered a series of controversial topics including the actor’s high profile relationship with the Church of Scientology. But Cruise made so many legal threats, Macmillian has now decided it is not worth releasing the biography.
A spokesman for the company says: “We will not now be publishing the book. Although it was publishing in America, Cruise had so many complaints that by the time our lawyers had been through it, there was nothing left but red ink.
“We have explored every possible option but have concluded that once the potentially defamatory sections are taken out, there is not enough left to make a good enough read.”

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes
Tom Cruise is concerned that Victoria Beckham may have too much influence on his wife, Katie Holmes — especially when it comes to her eating habits, the Daily Mail reports.
Cruise wants to put some distance between Holmes and Posh Spice, a source told the paper.
“Katie sees Victoria as a role model,” said the source. “She copies Victoria’s look and even cut her hair the same way. She is very thin largely because she is following Victoria’s strict 900-calories-a-day eating plan. She is copying Victoria’s fad of eating seaweed shakes, frozen grapes and edamame beans. She is tiny.”
At a recent lunch at L.A.’s Osteria Mozza, Holmes ate “only steamed asparagus as an appetizer, then a tiny plate of chilled beets for her entrée,” a diner told Life and Style magazine.
During another recent outing to Madeo, Katie and Posh shared a green salad without dressing, one piece of fish and one side of steamed spinach, Life and Style reported. They also ordered one regular Coke and two glasses of ice.
“Katie poured half the soda into each of their glasses, then filled up the rest with bottled water,” a Madeo regular told the magazine.
