Cruise looks very tired. I mean he has HUGE black circles under his eyes. He must be under a lot of pressure, stress, and is affected by the recent setbacks and failures: Mad Money, Lambs for Lions and now the delay of Valkire.

I just rented Lambs for Lions on DVD and did not like this movie at all despite Redford and Meryl Streep’s participation in the movie. I predict Valkire will also bomb when its released. I bet all of this will put more pressure on his marriage. He might be wealthy but they also spend a lot of money and the only way you can sustain that type of lifestyle is to continue to make successful films.

And now we hear that Nicole Kidman is moving back to California? That must make Katie feel uncomfortable especially after she said that the kids call her mom.

I think Tom Cruise turned off a lot of people with the Morton book, attacking Brooke Sheilds for taking medication, jumping on Oprah’s couch, and those now famous YOUTUBE videos of him promoting Scientology, and the pimping of Suri at so many late night events, and several other missteps. His so called fans and scientology members can defend him all they want but they are not mainstream America. They will be the only ones going to see his movies. He has lost a big chunk of his audience. The movie studies are not gonna want to touch him or Katie Holmes.

The public giveth (fame, fortune, accolades), and the public taketh away (box office dollars, fame, fortune, etc.). I think that is the hardest thing, when you become addicted to the title “the biggest movie star” and then you are no longer that.

I don’t feel sorry for him because he was in a privilieged position and he began to act like he was above it all, he thought he had the answers to everything. Lets see if he can get himself out of this. I doubt it. I’ve said it before, the tide has turned for him.

And I don’t just say this to Cruise, this is for all celebrities that make tons of money, “appreciate your time and status” because it might not last forever. And even then, you should be grateful for that experience and hopefully you were able to do a lot of good with your celebrity. You don’t have to work the 9 to 5 routine which is okay if you love your job.

I mean look at Kevin Costner. He was one of the hottest stars around in the early 90’s, he had a few missteps and has struggled to regain the success of his earlier movies. But he was able to mass a fortune and if he was smart, invested those dollars. And what can I say about Michael Jackson, his Neverland Ranch was almost sold through foreclosure. I bet if someone would have told Michael Jackson that was gonna happen 10 years ago he would have never believed it.

I mean, you;re not saying anything we already don’t know and that’s blatantly obvious. His conduct in 2005 has seriously damaged his reputation. I think he of all people is aware of that. But all he can do is continue living his life and pushing on and ignoring all the attempts to break a man already down like that book and that leaked video.

Emily: I agree with you 100%. And once Katie Holmes realizes this she will be gone from his life without Suri and that is the sad part of all this.

my god tom give her a break!! let her go do what she wants on the play ground maybe go down a slide or something. She needs social stimulation from other children..she probally feels she cant do that, bc daddy has to approve first. your in every picture with her..making sure it looks right. she is clearly trying to get down the ground and play in the sand in that dress. i beleive with everyone reguarding that dress not being approprite for the playground. “restrictive” is the PERFECT word for a little girl who wears these dresses all the time.

as for the hair styling and the nails? she cant grow up being told shes going to mess up her hair when she plays at the playground…what fun is that?? and the nails…OMG shes like wat? 22 months? not even 1 yet…HELLO!

this is defenitly him setting this whole thing up…he even has the sweater to prove it.

put her in some comfortable clothes and stop isolating her from other children!

This link reminds me how Cruise is in control of every experience Suri will have regardless if its ridiculous like the one where they are trying to put her in the Mediteranean sea and she is screaming her lungs out.

even her ‘oldish’ poise with the shoulders going down and her mean stare is scary for a child this young.

She really is turning into someone not so beautiful and freskish looking. She looks mean but in a mature uncomfortable way not with the mischieviousness children always have when angry… and she exudes true weirdness. She makes me really uncomfortable.
