Ryan Seacrest Goes for the Rebound

American Idol host Ryan Seacrest and Australian singer/actress Sophie Monk were spotted out on a date at an LA sushi restaurant on Tuesday.

Ryan, 33, and Sophie, 28, tried not to be photographed together after dining at the restaurant for over two hours before heading home.

Sophie recently split from her fiance Benji Madden of Good Charlotte, who is now dating heiress Paris Hilton.

OMG i love you ryan!!!!RYAN IS MY AMERICAN IDOL!!!!! OK THAT SAID……the man needs to stop….he needs to face he is asexual. i dont think he is gay or straight. he just needs to stick to what he does best hosting entertainment shows and looking like a girly wuss man. (i love you ryan) i am sorry he just doesnt go with a female(or a male). and on a side note sophie monk is beautiful she has the perfect body she is a cross between denise richards and jamie pressley. she is gonna get big i bet…cuz she really is pretty. but lol to ryan atempting to date women who look like denise richards.

From Hollywood (#25) has hit the nail on the head. Trying to figure out Seacrest’s success is mind boggling. He is so self-absorbed and smug. I don’t understand what his appeal may be and I truly wish his 15 minutes were up. As Simon says, Ryan is like a little mosquito that you just want to swat away!

I, too, am perplexed at this guy. He can’t do an interview to save his life, and his hosting with Giuliana makes even HER look like a genius. He is annoying and pushy and obnoxious, like the kid in school who nobody likes and is trying really hard to be funny or make people like him.

I still can’t believe that when Brad Pitt, one of the biggest movie stars in the world who had an interesting movie to talk about, is in front of him at the Golden Globes, he bypasses him to ask his partner what she had for breakfast! What an idiot!

Sophie Monk must really be desperate to even be seen in public with him.
