OMG! This was one of the best nights of my life!!!!!!!! You guys cannot fathom how excited I am!!! OK please bear with me b/c my hands are shaking!

My friend Mayra & I were chatting while she sat in Starbucks today around 5:15 or so LA time. She was just about to get in line when she says “OMG Laila it’s him!” I answer “What do you mean it’s him?” She says “It’s F**king Wentworth!” I say “No frickin way! Are you gonna say something?” “She says “I don’t know what to say! How do I approach him?” I tell her to just get in line & say something… anything! She does & says “Hi, Wentworth?” He replies “yeah, Hi!”. She asks if he has a minute & he tells her “Yeah, I’m kinda in a hurry, but sure.” She tells him she’ll wait until he’s done with his order & she goes outside to wait for him.

She tells me she’s gonna ask him to talk to me but I’m freaking out. I wanna to talk to him SO frickin’ bad but I truly do not know what to say. After a few minutes she says “here he comes!” He walks out & says “hey!” She says “OMG Wentworth, I’m so happy to see you! My friend Laila is on the phone & she’s a huge fan of yours. She’s from Louisiana. Can you talk to her?” He says “Absolutely. I’d love to.” I hear the phone shuffle a little bit then this beautiful, sexy voice says “Hi this is Wentworth!” I pull it together & quickly say “OMG Hi Wentworth. This is Laila. I’m so excited to talk to you!” He says “Hi Laila! I’m excited to talk to you, too!” He said my name ARE YOU FRICKIN’ KIDDING ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I said “ahh you’re such a sweetheart!” He said “So are you.” AGAIN!!! I was completely enraptured by him ear F**king me with that voice of his!!!!! I told him that I didn’t want to keep him on the phone long b/c my friend said he was in a rush and he said it was no trouble at all! I told him that I love him & I’m a huge fan. He replied “Well, I love you, too! Thanks for watching the show. It means a lot!”. I said “ahh thanks so much!” He said “well it was really nice talking to you, Laila.” (he said my name again!!!!!!!) I said “it was nice talking to you, too.” He says “take care.” I say “you too.” And we both say “bye bye”.

My friend asked him to hold the phone b/c she had some gifts for him in her car! he laughs & says “so you just happen to have this stuff in your car, huh?” She says “yeah, I wanted to make sure I had it so just in case I ran into to you somewhere!” They laugh & she remembers she had her camera so she asked if he could take a pic w/her & he obliges. He asks if it looks ok for her or if she like another one. He took the camera from the lady that took the pic & looks at it & says “yeah let’s take one more” ALL THIS WHILE I’M STILL ON THE PHONE! He removes the aviators for the second pic & then hugs & kisses her… she kisses him back & says “oh let me get the stuff - I think they’ve forgotten about me at this point!

She starts pulling out stuff & he laughs & says “is all that for me?” She laughs & says “yep”. She starts pulling stuff out & telling him what he’s got & why (just so he knows it not just random stuff w/out reason! He says “wow, WE is really sweet (he said “we” b/c she was explaining that everything was from the two of us) & I thank WE very much!” They said goodbye to each other & walks away!

When someone says this man is beyond sweet & adorable, it’s an understandment. You have no idea! To say he was in a rush, he wasn’t pushy at all. He didn’t sound rushed when talking to me. He was patient & laughed at the stupid crap I said! He smiled the entire time we talked & it was genuine… the guy is amazing. And he seemed excited to talk to us both & spend the time he did with my friend. He’s very kind & really genuine! I’m more in love with him than I was when I woke up this morning!!! One of the best days of my life!!!!!!!! Enjoy the pics!

It is truly amazing to me as to why all of you guys are assuming that the girl is a fan. I think you’re all in denial. That’s not what it looks like to me at all. What it looks like to me is he made a run with his girlfriend to pick up a few things. He also picked her up a coffee from Starbucks. We all know most likely the Frap is his.

Isn’t that a Prius in which they are putting the pillow? Someone that lives in LA told me a long time ago that they saw Wentworth driving a Prius on the express way (in LA). I don’t think that I’m the dense one. The comments were made by posters. I don’t believe anything posted on the web blogs. Anyone could’ve posted those comments. Are you that gullable? I don’t understand this pointless debate about Wentworth Miller’s sexual orientation. Here’s a newsflash, girls……the man is gay. He’s hiding in the closet because Prison Break is still on top of it’s game.
He and the people at Fox are closely guarding his “secret” because they don’t want anything to tarnish the exit of this show. Both are fully aware what kind of negative impact this outing would have on millions of fans who love his character….the hero and boy scout full of testosterone. Their fear is probably true….who could look at Michael in the same way knowing in real life that he gives it to another man the way everyone wants him giving it to Sara on the show?
After Prison Break, his preferences will be more clear…..wait and see.

It’s true he’s very kind, simple, available etc…happy to see us etc…BUT I think by his behaviour he lets to his encounters too many false hope. It’s true when we had the luck to meet him and to see by our eyes how simple & kind he is, to read the strories of encouters who have met him…etc…. it’s easy to fall in love with Wentworth Miler !!!!

But He is 35 years old and He knows what he does, for him is clear ! But for many not !!!

He always thanks his fan Especially for watching, supporting the show !!!
For him is clear, all the interest for him is because fan love the show and I note that he makes always attention to note it !!!

And that little point many don’t pay attention !!!

Fantasm & reality two things very very different !!! There is two words between him and his fan.

When Dominic Purcell came in Ireland, Spain, France or at others events I remember people of Fox Co let him alone, don’t spend their time to accompany him wherever he goes !!!!

Um, ok I think I might understand what you are saying (sorry if I’m off on this one) - but you seem to think that some of his fans believe that he is special/extraordinary because he is kind, simple etc. and you state this is normal in life (as in - it’s normal to behave that way). Yes, we might agree it should be normal for people (in general) to behave that way, but sometimes (more often than not) people tend to behave differently.
You may also notice that when fans who met him and elaborated on his kindness and politeness tend to be pleasantly surprised by that not because it is generally unusual, but rather because it is unusual among celebrities.

And nobody is saying he is giving you (fans) his personal insight when he meets you in the street, but only being well-mannered (which is not doing a job, it’s just being well-mannered). When he is doing an promo for the show or meeting with fans in ‘controlled environment’ he is being professional and well-mannered as well.

Personally I don’t understand what is exaggeration on his part in this situations that we only get to see/hear from him. But if you think he is exaggerating, that is your right and we’ll have to agree to disagree on this one.

Trust me, there’s no debate. Wentworth has made everything perfectly clear for me. Some people just refuse to accept the truth.

I don’t doubt at all that Wentworth is a genuinely nice person. He said so, but he really doesn’t have to because his colleagues and fans speak for him. But I’ll find out just how nice he is for myself one of these days. ;) At the same time, Wentworth is highly intelligent and he’s worked on both sides of show business. He has a contract that he has to honor and so does FOX. He does his job and FOX does theirs. Even if Wentworth were no longer with FOX, and had no agency, he’d still be sucessfull because he knows how to package and sell himself. And when his contract is up with FOX, that’s when we’ll get to see just how smart that beautiful man is. He’s going to continue to market himself “perfectly.” I’m sure he won’t always play a “good guy,” but still off camera, his image will still be GOLDEN. You can bet that!

I truly admire Wentworth because if he were just in it for the money, I’m sure we’d be seeing a whole lot more of him. I’m certain he’s been offered a slew of endorsements here (US), but he didn’t accept them. But FOX may have had a say in that also. Wentworth acts because he truly loves to and I can tell that even if it paid minimum wage, he’d still be doing it. That’s why I adore him so much. He’s worked really hard for a long time to get where he is and he’s taking it all in stride. He appears to be so humble. And he seems to be appreciating every blessing, every open door, and every pay check as if they very well could be his last. He’s truly, not like any other celebrity that I’ve ever seen or read about. That’s why I call him a non-celebrity. He has celebrity status, but without all the typical BS that’s usually attached to it. He’s awesome!!!

You’re all idiots! Wentworth said he’s NOT gay. He is NOT a liar and would not stoop so low as to agree to lie about his sexuality for the sake of his show. Come on, Went is a smart man. Wentworth is a man of integrety and morals. He has told the truth and refuses to repeat himself over and over again. Just accept the fact that Went is NOT gay and get on with your life. I’m not offended at all by what she says, because nothing she says really applies to me. I would never wait anywhere for anyone’s autograph, well, I would make an exception for Jesus Christ. But I wouldn’t want an autograph, I would just fall on my face in front of him and worship endlessly. I would never set aside time from my day to hopefully meet someone who may or may not show up someplace,(Starbucks) not even if I lived in LA.

At the same time, I have to admit, it is very easy to get lost in Wentworth. I completely understand the addiction that others may have for him. Just look at him!!!! He’s beautiful, absolutely delicious!!! He seems to be such a great guy. I easily and often get knocked back into reality by my children, my husband and my job, and all the typical struggles in life that Wentworth neither knows nor has any concern with within a matter of seconds. He offers me nothing but numerous fantasies, artistic inspiration, which I also get from other things, and a false sense of peace when looking at his beautiful mug. That’s all I need for a few moments of escape from time to time. There is no harm in that for anyone. And what better tool to use than that incredibly gorgeous, lovely, seemingly lusciously man??? :)

Salut !J’espère voir Wentworth au cinéma, j’aurais peur que son rôle de Michael Scofield “l’emprisonne” et qu’il ne trouve pas de rôles interessants à jouer au cinéma…c’est pas toujours évident pour les acteurs de série télé de ce faire une place au cinéma (Georges Clooney et Johnny Depp sont des exceptions et puis ils sont d’une autre époque), le système aujourd’hui a changé dans l’industrie cinématographique.Enfin, on verra bien mais il vaut mieux pour sa carrière qu’il ne s’éternise pas trop dans Prison Break (la 4ème saison sera probablement la dernière…) .Wentworth Miller mérite de réussir au cinéma et derrière la caméra je crois en cet acteur et il a tellement galérer pendant 10 ans :son heure est venu de prouver ce dont il est capable, pour cela il faut qu’il fasse les bon choix au niveau du choix d’un rôle, de l’appréciation d’un script…il est patient et ne s’emballe pas à accepter n’importe quel rôle juste pour l’argent comme certain semblent le faire parmis ses collègues: Dominic Purcell a fait un bide au cinéma, SWC “invisible” dans “Whisper”, Sucre dans “transformers”….bref W.M est très prudent ,malin il a pas galérer 10 ans pour se vautrer avec des films à gros budget mais qui valent rien au niveau de la qualité cinématographique(blockbuster…)bref j’adore cet acteur pour ça il est clairvoyant et sait ce qu’il veut et ça va l’aider pour la suite…j’espère qu’il va faire les bonnes rencontres avec les réalisateurs qualifiés…une fois PB fini une autre vie commencera pour lui, ça deviendra plus interessant et enrichissant pour lui…

I forgot to mention, thanks for the link to Curious Girl’s blog. While her findings/hypothesis/comments would have been substantiated had she done extensive study of the fans of WEM III (as if being a fan girl is that damn serious where we need to be studied like lab rats), she should not have stated the things she did, incorporating a whole gammit of people while only viewing comments of a few! You know that this guy has no career. He’s a B-List actor on a C-List show and really all he is reduced to is promoting Starbucks and flying around to promote Prison Break. In his videos where he is to talking about how his fans don’t expect his character to go over to the dark side!
…. he seems like he is starting to merge the real world with fiction a little too much. Coo coo clock is ticking…

No directors or producers with any credentials wants to cast him in a movie because basically he’s just a walking endorsement for whatever products he can attach his name too. He’s not a serious actor.

But Ano…..isn’t that how things are done in the global market? This is a product, he’s a product, and I, the consumer, have the choice of whether or not I want to purchase or buy into the above product….and believe me…a pretty face might help when it comes down to making the final decision…..hey….we didn’t make the rules and neither did Mr. Miller.

I agree that
1/ Miller is not an “oscar” actor.
2/ He’s promoting prison break, it’s his job and he earns money from it. I would do exactly the same.
3/ We the fans are good numbers and more dollars to his pocket.

On the other hand, we the fans of Mr Miller are not exactly the victims. Thanks to him our fantasies get richer as we enjoy a hot man playing on screen. Mmmmm……
Secondly, the directors and producers are going to cast him in movies (erotic mostly I guess), because they are not stupid. They will exploit that hotness.
So, he gets money, we get fantasies. He sells , we buy. It ’s very simple my friend.

I strongly disagree with anyone who claims that Wentworth is not a serious actor. Only those who have seen ALL his work have a right to make a judgment like that…and his body of work, while relatively small at this point, demonstrates his talent and versatility. He was nominated for a Golden Globe for PB 1.

The third season of Prison Break was a one-note bore, but that is not Wentworth’s fault, as he doesn’t write the script.

I believe he will prove you doubters wrong. It might take another ten or fifteen years, but one day you will see him onstage accepting his Oscar. He has the talent, the drive, the looks, and the fanbase to have a great career, and any director or producer would be foolish to underestimate his potential.

He is not paid to advertise for Starbucks or any other American products, except for Prison Break.

Who flippin cares what he endorses! All celebrities do it! It’s called the media machine people! As an actor, if you want to get your name out there, you pick up the odd endorsement deal here and there….it’s all part of the game!

Of course, I totally agree that actors/celebrities making ads is normal part of their jobs. I don’t mind seeing anyone in adverts if I like those ads (if I don’t, then there’s simple solution, I just don’t watch it;)
And I agree with you that WM has a good acting potential and I would enjoy seeing him in future, in new roles (quality ones, like it was role in THS)

I love Wentworth because not only is he good looking and hot ,but he also seems a simple and good person. This combination is the best for me.
About his acting, I would like to see him grabing an oscar someday. In The Human Stain he was very good. I also liked him in Joan of Arcadia.
By the way, I guess many of you may not have heard about two short films he starred in. The one is called “The confession” and the other is called “The Hour” . The Hour is not so well known but it contains the best stuff.

These are two different short films which are sold seperetaly. The confession was more available than the hour.
After a while, the hour was used for a Brazilian commercial for a scent named Bebe. That’s how it came out.
The first half of these two films is almost the same , but the second half differs a lot.

Anyway, I wasn’t quite satisfied by those love scenes of Michael and Sarah (no offence to MiSa fans), so I was very pleased when I watched the hour.

And of course these films are mediocre. New and inexperienced directors try their potentialities. Some of them are good actually.
