I forgot to mention, thanks for the link to Curious Girl’s blog. While her findings/hypothesis/comments would have been substantiated had she done extensive study of the fans of WEM III (as if being a fan girl is that damn serious where we need to be studied like lab rats), she should not have stated the things she did, incorporating a whole gammit of people while only viewing comments of a few! I could see if her post was directed to the “church” but she didn’t do that… she pointed the finger, so to speak, at all of us even though she specifically stated she was disturbed by what she found at FCoWM; that was not fair! And the things she said about the girls & the fan encounter from last week was just plain mean even though she said she wasn’t being “judgemental”! Amazing!! I appreciate her wanting to “shed some light” on the whole WEM fandom, but to disrespect others in doing so is unacceptable!

I didn’t read all the comments she received so I don’t know what hurtful things she had to deal with (that’s not cool either), but I did read one of them - the one she spoke of that was “well-written” & “thought-provoking”. I hope that this comment opened her eyes and also made her realize that her comments, while coming from someone with a “master’s degree in psychology”, were completely biased! Even she said “this was the only thing I appreciated.” Good looking out to the person who stood up for WEM fans & wrote it!
