him getting kicked off was the best thing for him as well as Chris Daughtry. Michael is too talented to sing “their” commerical songs … he will rock in his own original way just like Chris has. Michael rocks but is not meant to be an american idol … and I think that is a good thing.

people probably did not vote for him because they thought he was a sure thing and would not even be close to the bottom 3. wow…sucks. :(
I think it should’ve been someone else this week, but my gosh, Michael Johns is so not good. He tried way too hard to be Jim Morrison, or rather Val Kilmer playing Jim Morrison and then that impersonation xeroxed a few dozen times. Seriously, he didn’t have anything original about him. I was glad that Randy and Simon were honest with him Tuesday. It looks like it cost him, but seriously, he wouldn’t have lasted much longer. IMO.

i guess we should vote instead of just procrastinate and not say “oh he’ll be fine” because everyone will do that and he got voted off. he’ll get a record deal like chris daughtry and be more famous then most of the people on there.
PLease stop voting for Kristy Lee COok. I was so excited at the start of the season. But now, weaker singers are making up the Top 7. Are you guys deaf? Michael JOhns is a fantastic singer, a whole package with a great voice, loads of charisma and sex appeal. Big mistake. BIG MISTAKE.

He was my favorite…….not only could he sing with passion, he was SO HOT!!!!!!! This is really wrong. I was in shock, I just couldn’t believe it, The audience appeared stunned. IT was horrible that Carly (awful) and Kristy stayed. Michael should have been at least in the top 2 or three. He is much better than ALL the women, I just don’t understand. I feel like I have lost all interest in this show. I really don’t care about any of them now. Let’ see, Jason Castro singing Over the Rainbow with a Ukelelee (sp?) or a hot Michael Johns singing Dream On VERY WELL!!!!!! No choice there. It makes no difference to me who wins now.
I think NOBODY will be eliminated TONIGHT!

Why in the Hell do you hate Syesha? At least she could sing. And she did a good job this week — far better than Brooke and Kristi and David Archuleta.
Syesha should be in the final four based on talent and voice. As far as Archuleta is concerned, he sucks hard and has a piss poor stage presence. So I have to question the musical tastes of those who vote for him — clueless teenyboppers no doubt.
Ever since Tamayra Grey got ripped off during the first season of AI, I decided that the voting system was rigged by producers somehow. And each year gives credence to my suspicions. Case in point: Melinda Doolittle. Clearly THE BEST of last year. But her appearance wasn’t Idol-like, so they made sure she got off.
I mean, why is it that voters still can’t vote online like other talent shows have allowed? It doesn’t make sense. I think it’s because it’s easier to rig with the phones. Someone should start a petition to demand a new voting system, adding the online contingent. That’s going to be the only thing, in my estimate, that will help to make this contest a level playin field — and take the suspicions away that it’s rigged by producers.
