Britney Spears Donates $25,000 to Idol Gives Back

Britney Spears was so moved by the stories told on Idol Gives Back on Wednesday, April 9, that she donated $25,000.

“She did it all on her own. She watched the show and cried for like two hours over the children in Africa with malaria,” a Spears family insider tells Life & Style. “She didn’t know much about the disease, so she Googled it. She was horrified to realize kids were dying from mosquito bites. So she went online and donated after getting [her dad] Jamie’s permission. She used her Amex.”

A rep for FOX declined to comment. Goooooooooo, Brit Brit!

Mrs Miller how many inmates did you kill to get on the computer to say something crazy. So you think Britney is as bad as Hitler and Bin Laden put together.

I hope Britney will not hear these haters keep getting well and return to the old Britney with great talent and get your kids back. Britney use to be such a sweet girl.

it’s good for her to start again ! i mean like the good old days ! i miss her sweet, loving smile when she was with justin timberlake! sometimes i just wish i can go back in time and tell britney to stay the way she was in 2000 and maybe with justin ~ i could just image them maybe marry together ! but god knows why he does this kinds of things ! i love britney god bless her !

p.s:don’t judge britney cause we are no one to judge her she is a human being and she made a mistake but i know later she is gonna recover and the old britney will back ! i just know it !

That’s sweet of her, but what bothers me is, that she had to ask her dad for permission. It’s HER MONEY, why should she have to ask her father for permission when she has earned that money?

Go Britney!! I knew she had it in her, and she is a good person. The media only reports the bad, this story is one of the only places you will find it, but the fact that she was in a minor car accident this weekend is all over the news. Kinda sad!!

Sounds like good ole mom lynn didnt make sure brit brit got her education while lynn was raking in the money for managing her while she was a kid. . And 25 k is a lot when EVERYBODY ELSE is taking your money. K-fed, Her dad,(he gets paid to be consevertor) the courts, the lawyers. No wonder the poor kid is screwed up. I would go nuts too if everytime i turned around the press was in my face like a mob
