“Every actor dreams about appearing on a Broadway stage. I have as well, and have been searching for the right time and opportunity,” said Mario. “A Chorus Line is a legendary musical and I am so honored to have been chosen to join the amazing cast and be a part of the Broadway family.”

Mr. Lopez will star in A Chorus Line until Sunday, September 7 but will be on hiatus from Sunday, May 11 through Tuesday, June 3rd.

Mario, 34, is an Extra TV host and was a finalist on Dancing with the Stars. He also played the role of A.C. Slater on Saved by the Bell and most recently hosted MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew.

Obviously you folks haven’t seen the play. Lopez is gonna be a tremendous improvement over the actor he’s replacing. Unfortunately, that says more about that actor than it does about Lopez.
